| I know I sound like a broken record. Everytime I think the Democratic race card players could not get more vile, more deranged, more patronizingly demeaning to blacks, someone manages to defy even my vivid imagination. This time, it is the Editorial Board of The Washington Post, which issued a truly amazing screed (h/t Gabriel Malor) claiming that critics of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice are motivated by race and sex, as demonstrated by the facts that most are male and a significant percentage come from former confederate states (emphasis mine):

The liberal Democrats, especially their black socialist members, and media allies, know that the best and easiest way to get the wimpy Republicans to back down and to go along to get along is to insinuate that they are racists.
That´s how the financial crisis based upon a huge number of sub-prime home mortgages was allowed to get up a head of steam that almost wrecked the US economy.
All you have to do is watch as Republicans like McCain start to back away from their previous comments concerning Ms. Rice, if President Obama nominates Rice for the Secretary of State position.

I remember a line in one of my favorite books, The Great Train Robbery, by Michael Crichton where a man left a dinner gathering with the comment that if he didn´t get home early his wife would think he was dallying with a judy (prostitute) and said "I would hate to receive the chastisement without the antecedent reward." White people keep receiving the punishment so how long will it be before they decide on some kind of antecedent "reward," and what form will it take?

Insiders? RI, MI...Are you Patriots? Hypnotists?
The Washington Post was the patron of Saul Alinsky and has always supported traitors to the US Constitution so no surprise they covered for Obama, Rice and Petraeus....Why Cantor sat on the information from the FBI Whistleblower about Petraeus, Benghazi and arms running suggests all sides are in cahoots.......Why?
Benghazi and the Mexican border were both different versions of the same illegal, unconstitutional, scheme...a Fast and Furious I and II...direct commerce...direct, illegal commerce...of gun running and Missile Running...This is happening...Why?
Lockheed is up to their eyes in the illegalities of missile running to Al Qaeda....and in cahoots with Obama...Circumventing Congress....Has the Military Industrial Complex been behind Obama?...Why?
Ambassador Stevens, an Islamist and a gay man was central to the missile running scheme....and had met secretly with Senator Inhofe a couple weeks previous to his death. Why?
Arming our enemies? Exactly for what purpose??? Why?
Panetta is about to dismiss many high level military so as to complete the transformation without fear of a military coup....Put communists in charge and fulfill expectations to disarm the nation...Will the Military stand down for the dissolution of the USA? Why?
...After the Panetta dismissal and dissolution of those who take the oath to the constitution seriously...the ranks will be thinned beyond repair...Are there patriots left in our high command now? Will they act while they still can?
About the millions of large caliber, hollow point ammo....? Explain it...Why?
Wash Post, Woodward were about destroying a conservative in Watergate....they care naught if Obama destroys the USA...Traitors

Don´t say anything other than, "it´s a matter of competence". That won´t stop them from playing the race card, but it should be the only talking point that´s ever uttered.

Riceism, not racism. Racist blacks and whites who divert attention from Susan Rice´s obedient incompetence and propagation of a political lie are Riceists!

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s nurses admit it’s hard not to call him ‘hon’

Nurses treating Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev say their natural inclination toward compassion makes it difficult to see the 19-year-old as a possible terrorist. And they have to make concerted effort — and buddy-system pacts — to keep from referring to him with terms of endearment such as “hon.” One 29-year-old nurse said on Gawker: “When you’re in the room, it’s just a patient. You’re here to … make sure they’re feeling better. When you step away, you take it in. I am compassionate, that’s what we do. But should I be? The rest of the world hates him right now.”

The government will use any and all information at its disposal to find journalist sources, as shown in The Washington Post´s report this morning on a Department of Justice investigation into Fox News chief correspondent James Rosen, who may face criminal charges for reporting government secrets. In June 2009, Rosen reported on CIA analysis suggesting that North Korea might respond to new UN sanctions with renewed nuclear tests. In order to determine how Rosen learned of the analysis, which had been issued by the CIA only a few hours prior, FBI investigators used every tool at their disposal: analyzing

Last Thursday, Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) started a Twitter prairie fire with his call for people to describe #ObamacareInThreeWords. (My contribution was “Sorry, Doctor retired.”) (Snip) The White House, never shy to jump into social media, responded with a flurry of tweets, including “It’s. The. Law.” which smacked, more than anything, of typical Obama chest-thumping. Is the administration sure they want to aggressively take credit for a law which, for almost the entire three years since its passage, has had more Americans supporting its repeal than supporting the law itself and which, according to Rasmussen Reports

PORTLAND, Ore.—In the 1950s, after health authorities began fluoridating U.S. water supplies, they faced opposition from groups like the John Birch Society, which called it "an unconstitutional mass medication of the public." Sixty years later, the fight over fluoridation has erupted in Portland, where the battle has drawn in the city´s craft-beer brewers, organic-food purveyors and environmentalists. Even some of the city´s famed indie-rock musicians are taking sides. The debate has prompted something of an existential crisis in this self-consciously liberal city, which votes Tuesday on whether to overturn the city council´s 2012 decision to fluoridate.

I first saw the headline early Tuesday on Real Clear Politics, a political news site where I generally start my morning. It´s not where I expect to see a story on breast cancer. Then I checked my e-mail messages -- they all seemed to be about Angelina Jolie´s op-ed. Students in my undergraduate class wanted to discuss it in our next session. Colleagues expressed concern and wondered what the right response was. People I don´t even know sent e-mails. One, from a research fellow at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, nicely summed up the general concern:

The late columnist William Safire once said that a good clue that someone in Washington was engaged in “an artful dodge,” i.e., a cover-up, was that they used the phrase “mistakes were made.” Safire defined it as a “passive-evasive way of acknowledging error while distancing the speaker from responsibility for it.” The phrase became infamous when both Richard Nixon and Ron Ziegler, his press secretary, deployed it to explain away Watergate without explaining who did what and when or whether any ill motive was involved. Astonishingly, the Internal Revenue Service resurrected the Nixonian expression within hours

Just when you think the news surrounding Obamagate cannot get any worse, it does. Some say U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s days on the job are numbered and that it’s just a matter of when he’ll be forced to resign. While I’ll not shed a tear over Holder’s departure, one of the replacement names being floated has me reaching for tissues: Gov. Deval Patrick. Patrick has denied he’s interested — but the job isn’t on offer yet. If it is, President Obama should not select him nor should he be confirmed by the Senate for a plethora of reasons.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

PRESIDENT OBAMA: You are the mantle of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington and Ralph Bunche and Langston Hughes and George Washington Carver and Ralph Abernathy and Thurgood Marshall and, yes, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. These men were many things to many people and they knew full well the role that racism played in their life. But when it came to their own accomplishments and sense of purpose, they had no time for excuses. Every one of you has a grandma or an uncle or a parent whose told you at some point in life

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

So actually asked CNN´s Candy Crowley of her guest Sen. A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

WASHINGTON – White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said Sunday Republicans owe Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, an apology for alleging she played a part in formulating the White House’s response to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, last year that killed four Americans. Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week” that the release of more than 100 pages of Benghazi emails and notes show “beyond a shadow of the doubt” that accusations she tried to change the narrative of what happened in the attacks was false. "And, frankly, I think that many of the Republicans
