obama plans on forcing union membership on all of us. One of his puppet handlers AFL-CIO Richard Trumka said so. The SEIU tried to force Wisconsin babysitters to join that union.

Most of the time I am not with any type of Union activity ~ but given that Wal-Mart has lost many employee abuse law suits ~ Well who is the lesser of the evils ?

They Lost in Wisconsin, they put Hostess out of business, they were overheard calling Electrical Linemen from Southern states scabs, they were critical to stuffing ballots for democrats in close swing elections and now they attempt to destroy one of the most important America Success stories WalMart. Loosing Walmart would destroy rural America towns, but that´s seems to be what urban Americans want. At only 7% of private sector workers we should move to outlaw unions.

I got out of one union twenty years ago and was part of a group of workers that decertified a local of the United Steel Workers. I should have gone to work for IBM as I had planned but instead joined a labor union because they made more money. Bad choice. I learned that you don´t get ahead in a union. You are paid and treated the same as the zeros on the job. If you do more and want to do a good job, you are told to slow down, you are making everyone else look bad. I´m just ranting, I get annoyed when unions think that they deserve what others have worked for.

So they lost a skirmish in Nov, 2012. They don´t quit.

Most of us are watching the fiscal cliff and ObamaCare right now. Labor is busy becoming an unofficial wing of the federal government.

They want a Jill Kelley/ MacDill status i.e. We are Special.

Obama, DOL, NLRB, etc. will just keep changing the rules until big labor wins nearly every time. He can have the IRS and DOJ hassle employers too.

Obama did as much as e dared in his first term, now he has no reason to hold back at all.

Watch for employers to appeal successfully to employees to dump unions. Employees are robbed on every payday, but the unions take the money and run. They use the funds to enrich themselves and buy political power. These priorities do very little, if anything for the rank and file union members who pay for it all.

At some point companies and employees who are tired of paying for the racket will see eye to eye and start dumping the union thugs.

I shop at a WM that does about 100 mil a year gross sales. If they Unionize that means the public will pay about 25 million dollars more a year for the same amount of groceries.

Soooooo for $25 mil, the 400 workers will get about $2.00 per hour more after U dues.

If you don´t believe me go to the nearest Albertson buy a can of Del Monte XXX, compare prices. A will be about 25% more. Then compare the same can of XXX with the W M
brand (which may be made by Del Monte) and it will be about 35% cheaper.

Bottom line, I spend about $250 monthly on Groceries at WM. $3000. annually so if WM unionizes it will cost me and about 40,000 people who shop at this WM 25% more.

It wouldn’t bother me so much if the workers themselves got 90% of the $25 mil

I don’t work nor ever have for Wal Mart, do know a number of people who work there now and have in the past.

Worked for a garment industry that went bankrupt, lot of our employees went to WM.

The last 2 protests were staffed by paid union workers who were not even affiliated with the business being picketed.... At LAX they didn´t even know why they were there!

When folks feel blessed to even have a job in today´s economy, these thugs are not going to get away with this behavior.

I pray a Southern Right To Work state business buys the Hostess name & revives the Twinkie & Ho Ho... made & distributed by non union Americans.

After the Hostess tragedy, private union membership may sink below 6% when the 2012 data is compiled.

I agree with #1. The labor unions have succeeded in at least one thing--installing a Marxist dictator in the White House.
