| MADISON, Wis. — Every weekday as the clock strikes noon, dozens of demonstrators pass out songbooks inside the Wisconsin Capitol. Office workers who know what’s coming scramble to close their doors, and several police officers take up watch from a distance. Then the group begins to sing, the voices echoing throughout the cavernous rotunda. The first song might include the lyrics, "Hit the road, Scott, and don’t you come back no more." The next tune could say, "We’ll keep singing ’til justice is done. We’re not going away, oh Scotty." Most of the protesters who hounded Gov. Scott Walker

Walker did not strip most employees of their collective bargaining rights. He and the legislature limited the scope of bargaining for state and local employees, except for police and fire.
And the reason for the limits had to do with inept local school board members who agreed to union demands for health insurance provided through the teachers´ union, with unlimited benefits provided.
And the costs of that health insurance went through the roof.
Thus the change in the law.

Why are these Occupiers allowed to continue disrupting this way?
Say what you want, but the left knows how to never give up. They are wrong, and maybe even evil, but highly successful.
Conservatives could learn a thing or two about how to win a war, and that is, after all, what we are currently fighting. We are losing the war of ideas because we give up too easily. However, the left never will, until we force them to surrender.

I don´t have the slightest doubt that these dipsticks would be the first to yell to any unhappy Republican within hearing, "Obama won - get over it!". And not even remotely see the contradiction.
Spoiled brats entitled to everything they want are never wrong in their own eyes, and apparently these kind of childish tantrums have been going on a long time (a proud tradition in Wisconsin????). Sheesh! I´m so glad I live FAR away from there.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
