| Malia, Sasha, and first dog Bo joined the First Lady Michelle Obama to welcome the official White House Christmas tree this morning. The 19-foot Fraser fir from Peak Farms in Ashe County, N.C., was brought in on a wagon by two Clydesdale horses driven by two men donning top hats and red bow ties, while the Marine Band played “Oh Christmas Tree.” Mrs. Obama leaned over briefly to smell the tree, while the girls examined it, stopping momentarily to feel the top needles. The first lady gave her approval with a thumbs up, saying it’s “I’s a go. We’re good.

Obama would thank God the Christmas tree arrived, but that would be like thanking himself. Atleast now he has a place for all the Mao, Che, and Hugo ornaments he has.

Personally I think that all Christmas celebration should be banned from Government Buildings and the White House. All governmant employees including teachers and ALL employees should be required to work on Christmas. Only private business if they want to, should be off.

Poor Bo, being dragged around for a photo op. The girls of course ignored the dog and tried to ignore the tree.
Sure hope the Mao ornament fell off the tree and broke last year. Do not let Anita Dunn replace it!

I make it a point not to look at all the "foo foo" photos that the Obamas make endlessly. I do not care to look at any of them because of what they have done and are doing to my country. I resent that the children are protected by the MSM and are only spoken of in revered terms, while the Palin and the Romney children are made fun of from every angle. So please, can we have a Obama-free site. Thank you.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate."
