With Obama Win, Big
Labor Feels Its Oats

Big Labor: Is the United States becoming another France, with daily strikes not a bug but a feature? Sure looks like it, with a surge of union actions in the wake of Obama´s re-election. Guess who pays? On Wednesday, the busiest travel day of the year, 1,000 Service Employees International Union airport workers opted to strike at Los Angeles International Airport, forcing two-hour delays. In Portland, Ore., another 1,000 port guards belonging to the International Longshore and Warehouse Union shut down the Port of Portland, driving time-sensitive Christmas season cargo to other ports.

They´re going to strangle the goose that much quicker. These dimwits don´t seem to know that there IS NO MORE MONEY! The ticks have drained to dog to the point of no return. Look for repeats of the Twinkie assassination to play out all across the country.

The union thugs (their leadership) have killed the goose that laid the golden egg and they´re too damned stupid to recognize it. Buh bye thugs, don´t let the door hit ya on the way out! Good riddance.

Public sentiment is actually turing against unions, particularly when non union people are struggling like they are under the Obama regime.Business and government simply can´t afford union demands anymore,so all these actions are cage rattling to let you know how much of a grip they have left.If these people are staging a form of wildcat strike, they should all be fired and their contracts null and void.

Unions have a patron in Obama and they too follow his plan for wealth redistribution. The redistribution comes from anyone making it on his own who is now hanging on by his fingernails to much wealthier favoured big labour and civil service positions. It is a transfer from the poor to the rich! With Obama you don´t get ahead by working hard but by being politically supportive of him.

‘Who’s going to jail’ over IRS
scandal? Probably nobody.
Washington Post, by Aaron Blake    Original Article

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) wants to know “who’s going to jail” over the IRS scandal. But ousted acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller says no laws were violated when the agency targeted conservative groups. So who’s right? Did the IRS’s conduct take a step beyond mere “wrongdoing” and venture into criminal territory? (Snip)Essentially, there are three types of laws that might conceivably have been broken, as Attorney General Eric Holder acknowledged in his testimony before a House committee Wednesday:

Planted question gambit

WASHINGTON — It was an unusual way to deliver bad news, even in a town known for its selective leaks, Friday night news dumps and wag-the-dog distractions. The Internal Revenue Service, apparently determined to get out ahead of an inspector general report critical of its handling of tax exemptions for Tea Party groups, came up with a plan: Lois Lerner, the official responsible for the tax-exempt division, would publicly apologize in response to a question at the American Bar Association conference in Washington. Details of the now-infamous planted question emerged Friday after acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller admitted the gambit

Taxpayers tuning in to Friday´s House Ways and Means hearing on IRS targeting of conservative groups may have expected to hear some hangdog apologies from senior members of the agency. If so, they were disappointed. Acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller, who was fired by President Obama this week but is sticking around to help with the transition, was almost casual about the pattern of biased enforcement that cost him his job. Earlier this week he blamed the political targeting on "rogue" officials in Cincinnati, but on Friday he said the behavior was "obnoxious" but that he does "not believe

Members of Congress grilled former IRS Acting Commissioner Steven Miller on Capitol Hill Friday morning, in an attempt to get answers on the IRS´ inappropriate targeting of conservative-sounding groups that were applying for tax-exempt status. Republicans and Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee both said that Miller and other IRS officials should have alerted Congress in testimony last year that they knew the agency was giving extra scrutiny to conservative and Tea Party groups.

In wake of scandal, Obama

President Obama announced Wednesday that acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller would resign in the wake of the agency scandal in which conservative groups were targeted -- though Miller was apparently set to step down anyway. An official close to Miller told Fox News, shortly after Obama´s brief announcement, that the IRS chief was "set to resign the position of acting commission as of early June." He was planning to leave the IRS entirely a "couple of months later, regardless of the current controversy," the source said. These details were not mentioned by the president

Director of IRS Tax-Exempt
Determinations Office
Is Obama Donor

The director of the Office of Rulings and Agreements, which oversees the determinatons of tax-exempt organizations, is a donor to Barack Obama. Holly Paz donated $2,000 to Obama’s 2008 campaign, according to Open Secrets, which maintains a database of individual political donations. An inspector general’s report released yesterday concluded that the IRS improperly targeted Tea Party and other conservative groups for undue scrutiny, and Paz heads the office in which the wrongdoing is said to have occurred. National Review Online reported earlier today that agency officials are currently copying the hard drives of every employee on Paz’s watch.

Officials on Benghazi:

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

Watching President Obama trying to dodge raindrops and responsibility yesterday reminded me of the moment when Dorothy pulls back the curtain and discovers that the Wizard of Oz is “just a man.” Stripped of his spell of mystery and power, the wizard is worse than mortal. He’s a fake. So it was with Obama in the Rose Garden. His performance was tired and trite, ordinary to the point of dull. His veneer of passion was so transparent that you could see him trying to summon his old-time magic by pushing the buttons

STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

The State Department, under Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, created an arrangement for her longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin to work for private clients as a consultant while serving as a top adviser in the department. Ms. Abedin did not disclose the arrangement — or how much income she earned — on her financial report. It requires officials to make public any significant sources of income. An adviser to Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, said that Ms. Abedin was not obligated to do so. The disclosure of the agreement that Ms. Abedin made with the State Department comes as her husband,

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

President Obama’s press conference in the rain was not a success, if by success, his supporters would mean an event which convinces anyone who doesn’t work for him that he’s getting ahead of the scandal deluge. The sight of a Marine holding an umbrella over his head only added to the weirdness of the event. So what did we learn? 1. He has full confidence in Attorney General Eric Holder, the man who purportedly recused himself (whenever) without putting it in writing (whatever). The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
