Obama campaign uses email
list to rally supporters
on ´fiscal cliff´

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Justin Sink

Original Article

Supporters of President Obama received an email outlining the president´s position on the "fiscal cliff" Wednesday, the first evidence of his plan to use his massive campaign infrastructure to advocate for policy goals. On Tuesday, the president´s campaign manager, Jim Messina, said the system built for the releection effort — including its huge voter and donor databases that were widely credited with helping secure a victory — would be used increasingly to advocate for policy goals. The email highlights Obama´s ideas to avoid the tax hikes and spending cuts scheduled to go into effect next year.

Comments:
I find that behavior reprehensible. It´s just one long party and campaign for the political hack 0bama. He sure does get down to work with everyone to solve these critically important issues. s/o Of course most of them were caused by Democrats so what does he care?

I also am deeply troubled by this crass behaviour. The President needs to sell his policy positions to the entire country on their merits, not to mobilize an easily misled partisan minority to canvas with prepared talking points and no chance of counterpoint.

This is the antithesis of informed governance. This is propagandizing on a new and deeply troubling level.

Supporters on fiscal cliff? Is he rallying them to jump?

And how will that influence a Republican majority in the House. By the way, your Union thugs are making a lot of people who voted for both parties mad by blocking LAX streets so people can´t travel on Thanksgiving day. After going through all that, then they have to be felt up and ogled by more Union thugs working for TSA. That is after stuff was stolen from their baggage. The Socialist/Marxist ideology is upon us.

Why is it that people who don´t believe in any religion get Easter, Christmas and other holidays off of work. Seems like they should opt out.

Oh joy, we´ll get to hear obama "fiscal cliff" talking points during Thanksgiving dinner from the liberal relatives.

FTA: "…has a concrete plan to reduce the deficit so we can grow the economy."

Interesting. This appears to be a radical reversal of direction for team -0-. The entire first term was about spending money we don’t have to “grow the economy”. Now we have to “reduce the deficit” to “grow the economy”? Why didn’t -0- reveal his “concrete plan” during the campaign? And if reducing the deficit is the key to growing the economy, why did team -0- expand the deficit so massively in the first place?

There was also a place to donate to the Obama/Biden Victory Fund. I wish he would remember that he said "Maybe peace would have broken out with a different kind of White House, one less committed to waging a perpetual campaign—a White House that would see a 51–48 victory as a call to humility and compromise rather than an irrefutable mandate."

I had one of these forwarded to me by a co-worker. Here´s some text:

"That´s the President´s plan, but he´s not wedded to every detail. He is determined to work with Congress to find compromise and common ground. ... In fact, the Senate has already passed a bill to keep your taxes low. The House needs to pass it, and Congress should get it to the President as soon as possible."

At the end, there is even a "Donate" button! (So his supporters can donate, but only the rich can afford to "redistribute"?)

Most of Barky´s supporters aren´t able to grasp basic math much less the complexities of the fiscal cliff.

The Hill.com is one of the biggest PR arms Zero has., they are just trying to ruin your Thanksgiving Day. One way to get over the big Zero is to focus on those you love, forget his message of division and hate.

Obama´s database is compiled from all US citizen data.. from HHS, IRS & elsewhere. They aren´t using a campaign database... they have us all categorized & identified... and targeted.

In 2007, then Senator Barack Obama appeared on CNN´s Larry King Live and called on U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. Obama said Gonzales was acting more like the president´s attorney than the people´s attorney and viewed himself as an "enabler of the administration." "Well, I voted against Alberto Gonzales confirmation for precisely the reason we are seeing now. I said this on the floor of the senate, that although he seemed to be a capable attorney, he seemed to conceive his role as being the president´s attorney instead of being the people´s attorney," Obama said.

The way to prevent abortionists like convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell from occurring again is to build more Planned Parenthood clinics, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said at a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on Thursday about legislation that would prevent abortion after 20 weeks nationwide. “I would urge my colleagues to think about the extent to which he, Dr. Gosnell, represented the poor quality of health care services available in poorer communities,” Nadler said at the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice hearing. “We should be working to make sure that high quality

House Speaker John A. Boehner on Thursday flatly ruled out chances of the House passing the Senate’s immigration bill, saying his chamber will debate its own bill instead. The Ohio Republican and his top lieutenants in the party issued a joint statement that seemed designed to tamp down some of the momentum behind the Senate bill, which emerged from a committee on a bipartisan 13-5 vote this week, and to stake out a House GOP position. “While we applaud the progress made by our Senate colleagues, there are numerous ways in which

During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

As the saying goes, scratch a liberal and you’ll find a tyrant underneath. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is but the latest example. He shoved a very restrictive and ill-considered gun law through the state legislature in the dead of night. Among its flaws, the law criminalized police officers who tote firearms with magazines that hold more than seven rounds. Sheriffs around the state have objected to the law. Cuomo summoned them to the state capitol under what appears to be a false pretext, and used the meeting to threaten them into silence. Cuomo invited

A workshop sponsored by La Raza/The Race will take place in New Orleans on July 23, 2013. Senior Executive Service (SES) employees are federal government employees in special executive management positions, often with salaries approaching $200,000 per year (and well past that with benefits). Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
