Krauthammer comes to O’Reilly´s
aid, debunks ´racist´ label

Fox News Channel host Bill O’Reilly is still defending his controversial post-election remarks about the entitlement state, and now he’s getting an assist from conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer. O’Reilly has been taking plenty of heat for saying President Barack Obama re-election was proof that the American electorate deviated from traditional values and now has a sense of entitlement. The Washington Post editorial board later took issue with O’Reilly’s remarks, and he fired back on Monday O’Reilly sought out an explanation for the criticism from syndicated Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer, who explained to O’Reilly the modern Democratic Party

Comments:
Not a fan of O´Reilly, but it´s ridiculous to call him racist.

Funny that he needed the good doctor to bail him out

Anyone who dares to criticize any black Democrat is racist doncha´ know? But when our black President attempts to divide the entire population into a multitude of special groups by leaves out "white" as a choice, that´s OK.

They´ve so overplayed this card, it´s useless. The only people who pay attention to this any more are morons and Chris Matthews. Sorry for the redundancy.

Also, Bill happens to be correct on that one.

The liberals´ overuse of the race card has already diminished its value. The more they throw it around, the less the effect that it has. Accusations of racism are becoming meaningless. Soon, they will need a new trump card.

O´Reilly discussed entitlements. Real racists on the left believe ´entitlement´ is synonymous ´ethnic minorities´ and cry foul on O´Reilly. He didn´t say ethnic minorities and entitlements are synonymous, they did.

What´s the big whoop about his comment? 99 per cent of Romney voters know that scenario to be true. In elections past, a president´s performance was first and foremost. This time, hitting an iceberg didn´t make the least bit of difference. What else could be the incentive to vote for Obama if not for free stuff?

The Democrats are the ones with race on the brain, who cannot stop thinking and talking about race, who inject race into every controversy, are always accusing others of being racists, and who insist upon making a big deal about the color of someone´s skin rather than the content of their character. Democrats are racists and bigots who stereotype people by the color of their skin and who think all white people are alike and all black people are alike. This is un-American to the maximum possible degree. Normal Americans judge individuals as individuals, not on account of the happenstances of race, sex, ethnicity. Democrats are against treating individuals as individuals. They are determines to make individuals mere examples and representatives of groups, tribes, races, genders and other collectivities. This kind of rubbish did not come from nowhere nor is it being kept alive without effort. It had its birth and continues to receive its nourishment in our universities, which are busily indoctrinating students and future citizens of the republic in such irrational, anti-individual, pre-modern tribalism.

It used to be that Truth was the first victim in War.

Now Truth is the perpetual victim of the press.

All Whites are racist, didn´t you know that? Blacks, however, cannot be racist no matter how much they practice racist behavior against others. So have we made any racial progress under Obie or are we worse off?

I won´t wait for the answer, I know it already!

I was furious when O´Reilly made these comments on election night before the results were in. Turned out he was 100% correct.

O´Reilly is right so often about the racial mess that it bothers me to watch him. He knows he´s right and that makes it even worse. BUT he has a way of explaining what he is trying to say that almost always comes out wrong because he is trying to be cutesee and I have to turn him off. If he could just get past his attempt at humor and stick to the facts at hand, he´d be terrific. But he´s doing his thing..and enjoying it. Of course maybe I don´t understand his humor....hmm.

When a liberal calls a Republican a racist, they should first laugh and then say "Yeah right and you´re Martin Luther King." The Republicans need to stop getting defensive and turn the shot back and put these morons in their place.

It is ironic, King Teflon lies about Benghazi and then goes off to Asia, and Bill O´Reilly is being persecuted for telling the truth...it was the best of times, it was the worst of times (Dickens).

Long before the Internal Revenue Service revealed it had improperly targeted conservative 501(c)(4) groups, a group of Democratic senators led by New York Sen. Chuck Schumer urged the IRS to do just that. The IRS’s admission last Friday that it had singled out tea party and other groups for extra audits and delays has raised concerns that President Barack Obama’s administration quietly attempted to stymy opponents through intimidation. But many prominent Democrats — including Montana Sen. Max Baucus, Americans United for the Separation of Church and State and the New York Times editorial board — had been

On Hugh Hewitt’s Thursday night program, National Review columnist Mark Steyn explained why the Obama administration’s response to last September’s terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was so appalling.“They let him die, and then told lies over his coffin,” he told fill-in host Guy Benson. Steyn said that the late U.S. ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens was a true believer of President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s view of the Arab Spring, that it was a positive movement and was trying to make the best of it. On Aaron Klein’s weekend show on New York City’s WABC radio, Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Inhofe accused the Obama administration of buying up ammunition at an unprecedented level to bypass the Second Amendment so gun-owners “can’t even buy ammunition because government is purchasing so much.” “Let’s make sure that your audience out there is aware, Aaron, that our president, Obama, has been doing everything he could to stop the private ownership of guns in America,” Inhofe said. “You know that, everyone knows that. And yet he’s been voted down in a big way by a large majority.

On Thursday night’s edition of "The O’Reilly Factor" on the Fox News Channel, host Bill Bill O’Reilly and former Clinton campaign adviser James Carville debated whether liberals have been pushed further to left by activists and various media factions. O’Reilly pointed to Wednesday’s May Day protest in Seattle as one piece of evidence. He also pinned the blame on MSNBC, arguing that his employer’s cable news rival is “putting forth” a far left ideology. Carville disagreed and said the hosts on MSNBC network, including Rachel Maddow, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski do not hold views of the far left.

During a Senate hearing on immigration reform Tuesday, Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano had a testy back-and-forth over the performance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. Sessions challenged Napolitano on whether she had met with leader of the ICE employees’ union in the wake of reports of low morale among ICE agents. Napolitano replied that she had not. “I think you should have met with them,” Sessions said. “I think there’s a real problem there. We have a very real problem. On Monday’s episode of Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” Greg Gutfeld sounded off on those who have made it their primary focus to understand the motivations behind Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s alleged decision to place a bomb at the site of the Boston Marathon. “After every terror attack each motive shall be discussed, but one,” Gutfeld said. “It is the terror that dares not speak its name. Well, actually it does speak. Our media just won’t hear it. Instead we explore the pain of the poor thugs. Which could be why some terrorists get movies made by Robert Redford

The National Rifle Association hasn’t received much in the way of favorable coverage from MSNBC recently. But on Wednesday’s “The Last Word,” host Lawrence O’Donnell took that unfavorable coverage to the next level by blaming the NRA for law enforcement’s inability to track down the perpetrator of Monday’s terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon. O’Donnell made the statement during the opening of his show. He also blamed the gun-rights organization for the failure of legislation in the U.S. Senate that would enhance background checks for gun purchases. “Today the gun lobbyists at the NRA

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare.
