| San Francisco supervisors approved a much-publicized nudity ban Tuesday. The vote was close, but 6 to 5 was enough for the ban to pass. It will need a second reading and another approval majority vote before it becomes final. The issue was sparked by a group of dedicated nudists in the city´s Castro District, where shopkeepers, parents, and proponents of decency say they had had enough. The ban says people can´t show "genitals, perineum or anal region" in public. Supervisor Scott Wiener is the legislation´s sponsor. Violations of the ban would risk a $100 fine,

Why on earth would a "proponent of decency" live in SF? Decency is completely absent in SF and many other areas in California. A proponent of decency would advocate bull-dozing the entire city into the bay.

Folks here in SO. CA. won´t visit San Fran. People who must go for business stay very close to their hotels. Have heard many stories of the stench of human waste on the streets.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city.
