Where were the Super PACS and Romney ads during the campaign (and earlier as the Idiot Chief InJustice Roberts was coming up with his novel it´s a tax ´cause I think that´s what it shoulda been even tho the Congress didn´t wanna call it a tax) ...
with ads mentioning EACH and EVERY one of these new Obama taxes, coming to you in January 2013.
´Cause once the stupid sheep start realizing (1) folks in the healthcare industry are laying off folks in hospitals, medical practices and device manufacturers due to reduced reimbursements and higher taxes -- all good paying jobs, by the way and (2) you´re gonna pay those taxes and extra costs in insurance premiums, there might be a complaint or two ... "we didn´t know about that..."

Part of the real problem facing America
"He said he lost welfare benefits in his early 20s, after he gained a full-time job, and the drug and alcohol treatment those benefits covered."
Most people get a job in their early twenties. The vast majority of them never "lost" welfare because of it. Most would find the tone of this statement depressing. Getting a job was apparently a bad thing here.

We had a heated arguement recently over obamacare with my husband´s liberal relatives. The younger ones honestly believe that they will be able to simply sign-up for "obamacare", which is free health insurance according to these Obama voters. They refuse to believe otherwise, said we were just parroting Fox News when we tried to explain that one must BUY an insurance plan.

It is simple math. If you are fortunate enough to have private insurance by the time the ACA is fully implemented, it will cost you 3-6 times as much for far less coverage. You will be paying for everyone who does not pay.

#9, you are both right. You will both "buy" health insurance, however, anyone who qualifies will be given generous subsidies to use to "buy" their insurance. You both might end up with roughly the same plan/same coverage, but one of you might pay $500 per month, while the other pays $50 or nothing at all.
BTW, the true irony is that when it is all said and done, there will still be between 15-20 MILLION UNINSURED for the exact same reasons they are uninsured today.
My best advice to anyone and everyone:
If you smoke or use smokeless tobacco-quit, there will be surcharges and reduced benefits.
If you don´t exercise-start.
If you are overweight--lost the weight, there will be surcharges and reduced benefits.
Oh, and be very nice to that super surly clerk at the DMV, he or she may be he person at HHS deciding your fate.

An elderly acquaintence of mine who changed her Plan D prescription insurance and got a better deal on it, (because she is low income) said, "Boy, (I guess it´s a good thing Obama got elected"). Seriously thinking he helped her. I just shook my head.

Beginning Jan. 1 I will be without health insurance in over 40 years. My premiums more than doubled and I simply cannot afford it on my salary anymore. As a support staff employee at a local school I am considered a second class employee and not deemed worthy of health insurance (but the teachers are). Instead of making the premium payments equitable the school decided to put it all on the backs of support staff. My premium would have been $800 a month while a teacher who had the exact same policy pays only 8 cents a month. The thought of obamacare should scare everyone but obviously America is now ruled by fools and the idiots who vote them into office.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
