Can Susan Rice Deal With Defections?
ABC News, by Michael Falcone and Amy Walter

Original Article

It was President Obama at his most fired up. The question, from ABC´s Jonathan Karl at his news conference last week, was about threats from Republican Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham indicating they favored Watergate-style hearings about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi -- with U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice at the center of that inquiry. Would those threats deter the president from naming Rice his next Secretary of State, Karl asked?"For them to go after the U.N. Ambassador, who had nothing to do with Benghazi, and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence

The bigger question is WHY she "was simply making a presentation".

She is a documented liar. Let her explain why she did what she did, and under oath while she does "it."

The arrogant, anti-American buffoon that was recently re-elected would definitely nominate Rice, as an in-your-face gesture to normal Americans.

Obama will now definitely nominate her. Just for all the fodder the Press will make out of it. No doubt, he already has another affirmative action hack standing by in the wings.

He was merely spreading his scent around the yard with that tough guy statement. Also a shoutout to his soldiers in the Blue City Civilian Corpse as he defends one of their own.

He needs to find a replacement for SecDef quick before Hillary noticeably screws things up so she doesn´t mess up her appointment to next Supreme Court Justice.

If they are now ´it´s was the intelligence we had at the time,´ why were they so certain it was the correct intelligence?

Over 100 years of presidential (and

New York Post, by Kyle Smith    Original Article

For a vice president’s daughter, Sarah Gore had a low-key wedding on Sunday in Carpinteria, Calif. But second weddings tend to be more modest affairs, and Sarah, 35, like her parents and her big sisters Kristin and Karenna, is a veteran of a failed marriage. She married Santa Barbara real-estate agent Patrick Maiani this weekend under a pine near a coffee shop, having previously wed tech investor Bill Lee, in 2007. Here are some other daughters of presidents and vice presidents who had splashy weddings.

Paul on vote fraud: ‘I think Republicans

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul said voter fraud should stop, but suggested that Republicans have overemphasized the problem in an interview with David Axelrod Tuesday. “Dead people do still vote in some elections. There still is some fraud. And so we should stop that, and one way of doing it is (driver’s licenses).” Paul said, according to a Washington Post transcript. “Although the incidence of fraud is relatively small,” Axelrod responded. “It probably is, and I think Republicans may have overemphasized this. I don’t know,” Paul responded. According to the Post, Paul noted that he does support voter ID but unlike some Republicans, who

Illinois woman sues condo where

The wife of an Illinois man who drowned after a brutal swan attack is suing the condo complex where he tended the birds. Amy Hensley claims the vicious April 2012 assault in Des Plaines "caused or contributed to" the death of her husband Anthony. And she blames the Bay Colony Drive complex, where it occurred, Hillcrest Property Management and his bosses at Knox Swan and Dog for not realizing the danger he was in. In a lawsuit filed against the trio last week, she said: "The presence of the mute swans on the premises rendered it unreasonably dangerous." And she claimed “(The defendants) knew

It’s Time to Eliminate ‘Hate Crimes’
From the American Legal System
PJ Media, by Jazz Shaw    Original Article

It is unfortunate that events generally require the commission of a crime of unspeakable magnitude in some unsuspecting community before the media is prodded to, yet again, take up the long overdue reexamination of the various “hate crime” laws peppering the legal code of the federal government and most of the states. Such was the unfortunate case yet again in April of 2014 when Fraizer Glenn Miller, a former grand wizard of the Klan, opened fire at a Jewish community center and an adult care facility in Kansas. Whether Miller “succeeded” in his desire to kill Jews or not (he didn’t,

Are You a Modern Day Gentleman?

Gentlemanliness is, without a doubt, Britain´s most enduring export. For Evelyn Waugh, writing breathlessly to Nancy Mitford in 1956, it provided no less than an explanation for ‘all our national greatness´. But, although he spent his entire life in thrall to the concept, he never explained what he actually meant by it. He, like most of us, assumed that you simply knew a gentleman when you saw one. Other writers have only managed to come up with partial definitions. For George Bernard Shaw, a gentleman always ‘puts more into the world than he takes out´. Oscar Wilde thought that a gentleman

President Obama’s ‘Selfie Doctrine’

In these selfie times when freedom, joy and posterity are just a head-tilt, grin and finger-click away, it is only fitting that the United States of America would have as commander-in-chief the undisputed King of Selfies. The Selfie Presidency for the Selfie Generation in a Selfie World. President Obama is that rightful king. There he is with the greatest baseball players of our day. The president mugging for a selfie outside the White House. Later he feigned outrage when it became public that the picture of him with Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz and a “44” jersey was just part of

Good news: thanks to a ruling by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Monday, the "most transparent administration in history" is going to have to tell American citizens when it believes it´s legally entitled to kill them. The lawsuit arose out of Freedom of Information Act requests by two New York Times reporters for Office of Legal Counsel memoranda exploring the circumstances under which it would be legal for U.S. personnel to target American citizens. The administration stonewalled, asserting that "the very fact of the existence or nonexistence of such documents is itself classified," and a federal district judge

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn´t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier. ´The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,´ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline. She blamed the Obama administration

Public Trust: Sixty-one percent polled say President Obama lies "some of the time" or "most of the time" on matters of national importance. Americans have to ask: Why do we let him get away with it? It´s no surprise that a Fox News poll of 1,012 registered voters last week found immense distrust of a president whose main domestic initiative was based on a lie. The shock is that the same poll found his disapproval level down to its lowest since last fall. Asked, "How often do you think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters?" 37% replied "most of

The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas). The former 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle. "A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don´t think they´ve got enough experience yet," Dole said. The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

Washington - Michelle Obama said "splurging is the key to life" if you regularly eat right and stay active. Her biggest guilty pleasure: French fries. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning
