Good article but the KEY question remains unanswered - Williams says that Laws should be passed not simply by Majority, but by whether or not they´re good Laws - HOW is that determination made?

#3, it was originally set up that any law that passed in the senate had to pass with 75 votes. That was to insure that most people were in agreement with the law. Reid pulled some major shenanigans to get the health care bill passed and on that alone, Roberts should have struck down the law.

Start by presenting a Proposition on the California ballot to change the EV allocation from winner-takes-all to each district winner being allocated according to that district outcome.

Suddenly, in states like CA, NY and other "blue" states they wouldn´t disenfranchise the districts who voted Republican (would mean 15 fewer from CA alone).
And, it would make more states competitive and involved not just 12 "swing" states.

It would likely dilute the over-represented views of liberals.

When people on the take for a FREE lunch, convicted criminals, and aliens are the outvoting majority of voters in a U S Democracy .......... until the Golden Goose is not just dead, but cooked and quartered ........What are we to do?

The D attitude in Phila when you point out felons voting, is ´they´ve served their time ......so what!´
