CNBC´s Harwood: Benghazi
Scandal Being ´Prolonged´
Because of Campaign ´Bitterness´

Appearing on Saturday´s NBC Today, CNBC chief Washington correspondent John Harwood completely dismissed the scandal surrounding the Benghazi terrorist attack as merely leftover campaign politics: "...what we´re seeing in the Petraeus scandal and the Benghazi issue being prolonged is an extension of some of the conflict and the bitterness that we had during the election campaign." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] Harwood predicted the whole controversy would just go away: "I´m not sure what the resolution of that is going to be. I think ultimately

That was a half-hearted try at best. I understand why you didn´t go into sales. I also understand why you work at CNBC.

Why would anyone at NBC care about dead Americans, ambushed by islamic jihadists.

How bitter of us to care about these heroes.

Here we have four brave Americans who were denied assistance with they pleaded for their lives; they were murdered, and the coverup began. CNBC´s says this scandal is being prolonged because of campaign bitterness; what a fool harwood is. CNBC was all over the story of Valarie Plame; no one died, she was not outed, no crime here, but CNBC kept reporting until an innocent man (Scooter Libby) was put in prison. What is wrong with this network; no wonder their ratings are in the toilet.

Sadly, Harwood is probably right. The press will grow weary of the story absent new bimbo eruptions. The fact is our media lack the integrity to pursue the truth to a logical end when it means embarrassing their own president and party.Harwood is emblematic of the 4th estate as a whole, willing to support any lie, ignore any fact, personally attack any critic as long as the end results in furthering their own liberal agenda.

Too bad a few of these brain dead journolists weren´t at Benghazi during this seige. Maybe they would sing a different tune if they were. Don´t they even care that these guys who were working on behest of our government, their beloved leader, were abandoned?!

Gosh, why didn´t we Republicans think of this one after the 1972 elections and Watergate ... just Democrat "bitterness."

Those RATS and media whores sure are a lot smarter than us.

So this John Harwood character would have pooh-poohed Watergate after the 1972 election as Democrat campaign ´bitterness´???

I don´t think so.

(I did my best to use no word bigger than 5 letters. I failed with "anything". I hope he can ask one of his friends what that means.)

This little tiff is easily rectified. Obama provides a full and public confession of his cosmic malfeasance, admits his shame (a first for him), resigns immediately, reimburses all of the Imperial Household´s costs, changes his name to Allah, goes on the Hajj, and gets a talk radio gig in rural Yemen.
Simple!

do you recall all the ads about - when the phones rings at 2AM or 3AM who should answer the call - how Billary and Obama were the ones to do the job! Well, it appears neither answered the little red phone when pleading voices begged for assistance.

Four men died. 20 were guided to safety because of one honorable Marine. Campaign

The Clintons had a busy night of celebrations after Chelsea announced she and husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting a baby. Two Democratic Party candidates in the primary race for California´s 33rd congressional district in West Los Angeles have accused local party officials of using an arbitrary fundraising minimum to favor established insiders--then raising that minimum at the last moment to exclude them from a recent candidates´ forum. Democrats Kristie Holmes and Barbara Mulvaney issued a joint press release earlier this week, accusing the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club (PPDC) of "uninviting" them from a forum on Sunday, April 13 "after first zealously pursuing them." Only candidates who participated were eligible for the club´s endorsement. As Breitbart News reported, the club--based in

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

On Tuesday morning, a plane owned in trust by the Bank of Utah showed up in a very visible area of the Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran. What was it doing there exactly? Nobody knows, reports The New York Times. Under President Barack Obama, the United States has eased some of the long-standing punitive economic sanctions against Iran. Still, very little American — or European — economic activity is allowed inside the religious theocracy. The Bank of Utah is certainly no Wells Fargo. The Ogden-based community bank has all of 13 branches including

MOKPO/JINDO, South Korea — Divers searching for survivors of a capsized South Korean ferry saw three bodies floating through a window of a passenger cabin on Saturday but were unable to retrieve them, the coastguard said, hours after the ship´s captain was arrested. The ferry, carrying 476 passengers, many of them schoolchildren, and crew, capsized on Wednesday on a journey from the port of Incheon to the southern holiday island of Jeju. Some 174 people have been rescued and hopes were fading for those still missing. The divers saw the bodies in a submerged cabin where many of the children

With the Chicago weather finally getting a little nicer, Chris Anderssen wanted to grill some burgers outside for a group of family and friends. When she got to the meat aisle at her local Jewel-Osco supermarket, a case of sticker shock made her change the menu: extra lean ground beef was $4.99 a pound. "Five adults, four teenagers, that´s a lot of hamburger to buy," said Anderssen, a 42-year-old mother of two who works as an office manager. She bought chicken instead for $2.99 a pound. Retail beef and pork prices reached all-time highs last month, according to Bill Hahn, agricultural

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
