| A professor from the City University of New York warned last week that white people may launch a “race war” against Latinos as a result of President Barack Obama’s re-election. Linda Martín Alcoff, a philosophy professor, made the remark during a guest lecture at Columbia University. She was invited to speak by the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at Columbia. Demographic factors are causing white people to lose their political power to the rising Latino population, Alcoff argued. “No other group can realistically pose a threat of ballooning numbers like we can,”

As long as we are engaging in baseless speculation to promote a political agenda, then I warn that Latinos may attack white women, assault your white daughters, and invade white domiciles and seize their property. La Raza is a subversive organization, bent on takeover of the USA. And my statement is as (in)valid as Linda Alcoff´s. Sheesh. What a numbskull.

These are not the words of wisdom one expects and is entitled to hear from a professor of philosophy. What a shame. What a scholarly disgrace. But how typical of academia today. One is reminded of Julien Benda´s 1927 short book, La Trahison des Clercs(The Treason/Betrayal of the Intellectuals). Benda observed that intellectual activity had become restricted to the rationalization of political hatreds and the quest for truth and wisdom and scholarship abandoned. The Communists and the National Socialists were gearing up for what we all know came next.
Our academics today, many if not most of them, are unworthy of their sinecures and the trust that the American people have unwisely and for the most part unwittingly placed in them. Unless the universities are re-taken from the enemies of America and the West, our troubles can only grow and multiply. Our universities are the biggest threats to freedom of speech, thought, liberty of conscience, freedom of religion, individualism, critical thinking and traditional American values one could possibly imagine.

I don´t see a problem between whites and Latinos. White are more complacent and blacks now see themselves as the truly privileged people in the U.S. As soon as Latinos begin getting more privileges, and the kinds of jobs that currently go to blacks because Latinos are harder workers, the blacks will be the ones going against Latinos.

Liberal White Democrats will be losing their power and influence to the Latinos as will the Blacks too (ever hear about how the Latinos treat Blacks in prison?).
Latinos aren´t likely to just let those Northeast white liberals keep all the power positions in the Democrat party.

First of all, the so called "La Raza" BS declaring "latinos" a separate race has no business being repeated in the MSM! Second, if there were to be a "Race" war of "Whites" against the "everyone else" crowd, it would end dreadfully for the "everyone else" crowd.
This is nothing but the lefties flexing their new found muscles and sticking their chests out. It will, as usual for Socialist revolutionary rhetoric and hate mongering, cost innocent people their lives

Lefties are so easy to read. This tool is inciting Hispanics to race war against whites, by accusing whites of it.
What she´s really doing is giving the media the line to follow when (if) Hispanics begin race warring on whites.

What we have to remember is that the U.S. Justice Department, in their annually-published crime statistics, officially defines Hispanics as "Hispanic" when they are the VICTIMS of crimes and as "White" when they are the PERPETRATORS of crimes. Who said you can´t have it both ways?

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is feeling the heat as potential GOP allies are now turning against his immigration reform bill. Republican colleagues who were previously viewed as possible “yes” votes are keeping their distance from the 1,075-page measure. On Wednesday, conservative activists ripped Rubio and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) — both sponsors of the bipartisan immigration measure — at a Capitol Hill rally. The crowd, which was protesting the bill’s effort to put millions of illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship, booed at the mention of Rubio’s name during the six-hour event.

It hardly gets more Orwellian than this. New technology would allow cable companies to peer directly into television watchers´ homes and monitor viewing habits and reactions to product advertisements. The technology would come via the cable box, and at least one lawmaker on Capitol Hill is standing in opposition. Mass. Democratic Rep. Michael Capuano has introduced a bill, the We Are Watching You Act, to prohibit the technology on boxes and collection of information absent consumer permission. The bill would also require companies that do use the data to show

Continuing his streak of fiercely criticizing President Obama’s foreign policy and civil liberties record, pre-eminent left-wing scholar Noam Chomsky told GRITtv that this administration is “dedicated to increasing terrorism” throughout the world via its own “terrorist” drone strikes in foreign lands. Speaking with GRITtv host Laura Flanders about the National Security Agency snooping scandal, Chomsky remarked that “the Obama administration is dedicated to increasing terrorism; it’s doing it all over the world.” He continued: “Obama is running the biggest terrorist operation that exists, maybe in history:

HOUSTON — A Houston man is accused of threatening to kidnap, murder and burn U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and his father and also to “blow up” the sun if he wasn’t paid $3 million. Nick Gates was being held Tuesday in the Harris County jail on a $10,000 bond. He’s charged with making a terroristic threat. Investigators allege threatening phone calls made June 5 to Cruz’s offices in Austin and San Antonio were traced back to Gates. Court documents show the 37-year-old admitted to FBI agents he made the calls and that

A $509,840 grant by the National Institutes of Health will pay for a study that will send text messages in "gay lingo" to methamphetamine addicts to try to persuade them to use fewer drugs and more condoms. The study began in February. Lead researcher Dr. Cathy Reback of the Baltimore-based Friends Research Institute, Inc., told CNSNews.com how she and her team of health educators will spend the next four years and over half a million dollars encouraging gay meth addicts to cut down on unprotected sex by periodically sending them “gay-specific” text messages.

EXCLUSIVE: In the hallowed halls of Columbia University, a nest of ex-cons — who have served time for murder, attempted murder, robbery and assault — hold court on their unique brand of social justice for admiring students enrolled in the school´s social work program, a FoxNews.com investigation has found. The ex-cons work for or with the Criminal Justice Initiative (CJI), co-founded in 2009 by former Weather Underground operative and Columbia adjunct professor Kathy Boudin, who pleaded guilty to felony murder for her role in an infamous 1981 armed robbery that left two police officers and a security guard dead.

On Rush Limbaugh’s radio show this afternoon, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, denounced the Gang of Eight immigration reform bill, encouraging his audience to call their member of Congress to oppose the bill. Cruz noted there were about 20 Republican Senators that were on the fence about voting for the bill, but that he believed that it was “politically foolish” and “terrible for the country.” “It doesn’t fix the problem,” Cruz said. “We need to fix the problem, secure the borders and improve legal immigration.” Cruz dismissed the Congressional Budget Office report showing that the bill would actually decrease federal

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
