Kerry´s the wrong man
for the Pentagon

Washington Examiner [DC], by Jed Babbin

In its 65-year history, the Defense Department has been led by people of various political stripes. But never has the nomination of any Secretary of Defense been a direct insult to the men and women who served our nation in uniform. That will no longer be true if, as is rumored, President Obama nominates Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., to succeed Leon Panetta at the Pentagon. (Snip) What makes Kerry different, especially for defense, is that he built his entire political career on his anti-war activities, including his leadership of the radical Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

Appointing Kerry (he served in Vietnam, you know), even if not confirmed, would be akin to obama sticking his finger in the eye of all current and past members of the military.

But, but, even though he spent a grand total of about six weeks there, (during his THREE tours) John Karry was "awarded" THREE Purple Hearts for his owies in Vietnam! When he got the nomination in 2004, his "salute" and "Reporting for Duty" was enough to gag any past, present, or future member of the Military! He is a disgrace and if he IS nominated by the obamination, he just may get the publicity he has always sought...

President Zero will distract everyone by nominating kerry for defense, and susan rice for State. It´s the sort of thing that President Zero does.
While the media fixate on Paula Broadwell and Linda Kelley, people forget about the four dead Americans.

If ever nominated, Kerry must submit ALL of his army records, discharge papers, etc. for review before any discussion of him is begun. That´ll assure us all that he´ll go away. The truth would be too painful for this phony.

Zippy will nominate Kerry for two reasons. First, he will nominate him because he hates the military and enjoys doing anything he can to harm it´s effectiveness. Second, he will nominate him because that will be yet another distraction from the Bengazi scandal and it will be supported by the traitorous media. Face it folks, our once great Republic is doomed. 51% of voters are more concerned about getting free stuff than they are for the welfare of the country. They are willing to put traitors (Kerry), fools (Biden) and Marxists (Guess Who) into office to perpetuate their stripping of the economy. And all we have to put against them are useless career politicians like Bohener who are more concerned with getting along with Democrats than securing the survival of the U.S.

#11 has it. FTA: "There is a bond of trust that has to exist between every president and every soldier, sailor, airman and Marine. If Obama nominates Kerry to be the next Secretary of Defense, that bond will have been broken." And that is _exactly_ why Obama will nominate him.

A hanging offense, treason.

At the very least, Monsewer Jean Fraud Cair-ree should be shining shoes and handing out towels in the men´s restroom on the main floor of the Conrad Hilton in Chicago, for life.

There is every reason to believe he left the navy with an undesirable discharge and revocation of his medals which were restored under dubious methods and for political reasons when he became a senator. As a senator he led Lefty forces against Star Wars missile defense which economically broke the Soviet Union and was the precursor of Israel´s Iron Dome.

Do we want this incompetent near-traitor to replace the civil rights lawyer we have as Sec. of Defense now? Not a chance. As bad as Panetta has been, we don´t need worse either as Sec. of Defense or as Sec. of State. How about some meaningless job like U.N. ambassador if he wants to further his father´s diplomatic nothingness?

Does anyone really expect anything different from Obama? This guy is a CLOWARD-PIVEN addict and stern believer in doing whatever it takes to destroy this country. His anti constitution stand is a classic in his own words. He degrades the Christian religion and openly promotes the Muslim faith, he is against capitalism which once made this country great, promotes illigal immigration and fosters their support, crammed Obamacare down our throats, encourages the draining of our treasury with handouts to all those who will not work, plots against the second ammendment, lies brazenly to the citizens of this country, fosters cover ups and now wants to destroy our military more than to the point of defunding it´s support with drastic budget cuts and now threatens with a Secretary of Defense that´s totally ANTI-MILITARY! That should increase recruiting... Already this administration ignored our military voters twice now in presidential elections and ommited their votes. Don´t put it past Kerry to appoint Jane Fonda as his deputy...the non-taxpayers, freebie cell phone and handout type getters, Democrats, brainless racist voters, don´t care type moochers and the media have contributed greatly to the screaming downward spiral of this once great country. Where to begin to sort this mess out...

ATTENTION all hands:
John Fitzgerald Kerry served in Vietnam.
Of course he has never signed his SF 198, so we can´t see his records.
We do know he was awarded the Silver Star with V for Valor THREE TIMES.
He was given this award for the heroic act of shooting an unarmed teenager in the back. Whoo! What a HERO!
And he got THREE Purple Hearts. One of them for an injury roughly comparable to a paper cut.

Yessir.

And, by the way, his brother made millions in North Vietnam.

The citizens in MA have made themselves proud with John F´n Kerry and Ted "Sandwich" Kennedy. Corrupt, but proud.

Have you seen their new Senator? She has no idea what her job is.

Par for the course.
Why not nominate a real war hero, like Jane Fonda?

Easter 2014: A celebration of hope
Fox News, by Rev. Dr. James B. Lemler    Original Article

Over 2 billion people are celebrating Easter today, April 20, as the calendars of Western and Eastern churches coincide this year, and these billions of faithful people are celebrating HOPE. The Easter message begins with the hopeful news that death has been overcome by life, that hatred has been overcome by love, and that sorrow has been overcome by joy. The elements of the story involve women arriving at a garden tomb and finding it empty, but even better, meeting the risen Lord, the embodiment of life and love. Their lives are changed forever and so are the lives of many, many

Chocolatiers love a holiday, be it Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or Easter. The French version of the Easter Bunny is Easter Bells (les cloches de Pâques)—which allegedly fly to Rome for a few days before the holiday to be blessed by the Pope before returning with chocolate eggs for the kids. But you don’t have to hunt very far to find French chocolate and pastry shop windows full of Easter eggs all trying to out-cute, out-class, or simply out-design one another. Good-looking pastries and other sweets are a modestly priced pleasure in France. But like fashion designers, French patissiers and chocolatiers

WHAT ARE the implications for Taiwan of China’s continued rise? Not today. Not next year. No, the real dilemma Taiwan will confront looms in the decades ahead, when China, whose continued economic growth seems likely although not a sure thing, is far more powerful than it is today. Contemporary China does not possess significant military power; its military forces are inferior, and not by a small margin, to those of the United States. Beijing would be making a huge mistake to pick a fight with the American military nowadays. China, in other words, is constrained by the present global balance

The immediate "crisis" portion of the standoff involving the federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy over his cattle grazing on federal land ended last week. Whether this will be end of Bundy´s troubles with the BLM, who have been in court with him over his refusal to pay fees to them for decades, remains to be seen, with the Bundys reporting that they´ve received registered mail from the BLM this week that they haven´t opened yet. I blogged about a lot of the factual background of the conflict here, with links to some relevant court documents. This story

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

WASHINGTON — Daniel Swalm was researching his family when he came across a disturbing episode in immigration history. That discovery would lead to a move in the U.S. Senate to apologize for action the nation took more than a century ago. Swalm discovered that under an obscure 1907 law, his grandmother Elsie, born and raised in Minnesota, was stripped of her U.S. citizenship after marrying an immigrant from Sweden. Swalm had never heard of the Expatriation Act that required a U.S.-born woman who married a foreigner to "take the nationality of her husband." This “Open Letter to the Friends of Ukraine,” by a guest columnist who writes under the pen name of Irina Gokieli, dated April 19, offers the author’s pessimistic scenario of forthcoming events in what Vladimir Putin now calls “NewRussia.” “NewRussia” encompasses southeastern Ukraine and parts of Moldova. She predicts an invasion by regular Russian troops near the end of the first week of May under the pretext of restoring order, although she does not rule out, as an alternative, an alliance of Putin with certain Ukrainian politicians and oligarchs. Notably the author makes a persuasive case that the long-term consequences

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
