| Folks on the right doubted that the coalition of young people, women and minorities, particularly African Americans, that put President Obama in the White House in 2008 would show up to keep him there in 2012. As the exit polls show, they most certainly did — big time. But will they show up when he’s not on the ballot? It’s a question that shows up in stories about the intense soul-searching underway among Republicans. Today’s New York Times story on conservatives in Wyoming “feeling left behind” by the election results raised the issue.

There´s a big difference between the campaigning Obama and the job doing Obama. On the job ,he isn´t qualified for it and so he will fail eventually.He can no longer promise goodies for votes,he has to start delivering and a 3% tax hike won´t cut the mustard.It´s really an emotional pitch,not a practical one.It´s really nothing but liberals wanting to take one last stab at Bush.
The 3% Tax rate increase is a huge distraction. The real money gusher is not doing anything on the alternative minimum tax that will slap millions of taxpayers.
the medical devise industry has unlimited growth potential which could be stymied by the stupid Obamacare tax on them.My guess is the reason is to make them so expensive the bureaucracy can tell a patient they´re too expensive to approve.Off the planet you go sucker.

I don´t think that Obama really cares if he addresses any major problems of the economy or national security. He just wants to enjoy the gig he has for the next four years.
Time to start placing the blame on democrats, not Obama. It is useless to target him at this point, but every democrat running for office in 2014 and 2016 needs to own a part of this massive failure that they helped Obama inflict on this country.

Not to worry - Obama will spend half his term campaigning for other Democrats and will probably have some trite cliche about ´A vote for [Fill in blank Democrat] is a vote for me´. Most sheeple will fall right in line.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate."
