I was thinking of the message in this article yesterday after hearing all those prominent Republicans trash Romney for his "gifts" statement.

Only one side was ever fighting, meaning the left. From the school books, to you name it. To this day, the political class on the right has no interest in saving this country. All they care about is being liked by democrats. They think we are the enemy. The left on the other hand has the following advantages: computerized voting machines, the media, Hollywood, the SEIU, billionaire environmentalists, more Soros funded groups than anyone can count, and are motivated by ideology. We have none of those things. What could we have done if we had even had Candy Crowley or David Gregory? The GOP so-called leadership despises us and publicly humiliates us by telling the NY Times that we have to take our medicine because Obama won. They´ve made it quite clear they have no interest in us. It makes no sense to continue. It´s only going to get worse when Jeb Bush´s book comes out followed by his candidacy.

It´s not Romney´s fault, it is the 50-60 year march of the welfare and open borders gang. Only question now is can it be turned around?

I was a business owner and was a victim of an all-too-common armed robbery. I eventually moved far away from such a horrible (Democrat infested) area. Now, I feel like I´m living in a enemy occupied country but have nowhere else to go.

Let me explain something about the robbery, though. As I said, it was common in the area. The perp got about $50 and I was hiding about $1,500. He got what I could afford to lose and no more. Yes, #17, I also think this election was robbed. In many places ther were 150% of votes, in others 130% and in others 0 votes for Romney. This election should have been contested and investigated. An L-dotter wrote than twice she voted for Romney and the vot came for Obama. Only on the third time the vote wasmcast for her candidate. Romney is too nice and he conceeded too early. Now we have four more years of nightmare.

On election night I felt robbed of my birthright. The voter fraud in the key districts of the swing states was blatant, but not unexpected by any observant conservative of the last several decades. Yet our GOP “establishment” and candidate appear not to posses the stomach for the final battle of the election by calling out the fraud and demanding recounts. I used to give the GOP the benefit of the doubt by labeling them “the stupid party”, but how long can they be this stupid? Even if there were no fraud, Romney would have won by a small margin. America was given the best candidate for president in decades: A man with the specific skill set for economic problem solving, a man of character and principle guided by a deep faith in God, surrounded by a strong and successful family which is the fruit of a dedicated and loving marriage. America should have voted for this man in numbers that would overcome the fraud. It did not do so. Political solutions are no longer available to us.

The Tea Party Movement’s basic motivating factor was the belief that the Silent Majority of traditional Americans comprised 60-70% of our countrymen. On Election Day we found out that we are not a majority. We are at best 50-50, with conservative philosophy and values being on the wane.

One of you wants to turn to Newt. Does it make sense to turn to someone who did not seem to understand that because he was not on the ballot in Virginia and in some other states was on the ballot in some counties and not in others that it was mathematically impossible for him to get the nomination? Because neither Gingrich nor Santorum would admit reality and get out Romney had to spend so much money that he had nothing for several months with which to answer Obama´s Bain Capital charges.

Others want Romney to challenge the election. They say he should have the courage of Allen West. I have sent West $100 for his recount fight but it is already lost. If we can´t win in a small District how could we recount miillions of votes? Try to accept reality and stop dreaming. And for the love of heaven, stop the nastiness and infighting.

Hi folks. A lot of misery, disapointment and sorrow protrayed by above posts. I am a 91 years old military veteran (1942-1972). During three wars I defended our Constitution and way of life. I was honored to do so. Never would I have had the thought that our way of life could be destroyedthe way it has (is) happening. Where are the GOP leaders who should be shouting about the open way R votes were turned into D votes before our eyes? I was called back to vote again, as my R vote was rejected by my ballot not going thru the counter! To me, this is treasonous!!! There are millions of votes that were turned likewise. Not a peep from our leaders. I had a pacemaker inserted in me last week. A sad time for our Country.
