| Washington--The two women at the center of the David Petraeus scandal — the biographer with whom he had an extramarital affair and the socialite who received worrisome emails that led investigators to uncover the illicit relationship — visited the White House on separate and apparently unrelated occasions. Neither woman met with President Barack Obama during their visits. Petraeus resigned as CIA director last week after acknowledging an affair with writer Paula Broadwell. In briefings Friday with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, the retired four-star general was apologetic and regretful and insisted that his resignation was related only to his personal behavior.

LDotters - Don´t fall for all the salacious nonsense about this bimbo eruption. The real questions revolve around the "Embassy Annex." which apparently was a CIA operation, manned by several dozen people, and with heavy machine guns on the roof. What was going on there?
Were they holding Libyan prisoners there (as in a "Black Site")? Were they there to collect the munitions illegally supplied to the Libyans by the CIA? Was it a transshipment point to illegally supply arms to Syrian "rebels?" Was Ambassador Stevens having dinner with the Turkish Ambassador to arrange using Turkey as a corridor for those weapons into Syria?
All the so-called "Middle East Experts," Congress and the idiots in the press have wet their pants over another sex scandal and are helping to bury and obfuscate what may be the real story.
What was the CIA doing in that "Annex?"

Which of the three, the twins or Broadwell, was/is a spy for foreign nations? The Axelrod campaign operation IMO is why the FBI was searching for damning info, held in the hip pocket to be used when most effective. Benghazi seems to be the trigger for releasing their research. Didn´t obama remove his opposition in elections in Chi-Town the same way. Don´t trust any of them or trust what they say.

That there were CIA officers in the Annex is no concern of mine. That they weren´t adequately protected is.

The twin bimbo/social climbing sisters from Tampa are Lebanese Catholics, not Muslims. There are many many Lebanese Christians in Lebanon and here (remember Danny Thomas?). Their parents immigrated here from Lebanon, they were born here.

The women were empowered by a contact in the WH who arranged to have the state dept endow them with credentials to enter the base. They were among the very 1st Friends of McDill...
I believe Broadwell, in her investigation for Petraeus, uncovered the WH spy operation & that was the threatening email she sent... not jealousy but busting the spy operation & telling Kelly to back off... which is why Kelly went to the FBI contact not cops.

Poster #7, please look into the brother in law Allen, before you claim they were catholics... maybe as a cover. Kelly also begged the mayor to let her get involved in Koran descecration events here. Why?

Here´s my scenario:
Colin Powell is promised Sec. of Defense if he supports B.O.
B.O. has to first get rid of Petraeus.
Enter Jill Kelley - vendor of lots of gossip available to the highest bidder.
The talk re John Kerry is a smoke screen.

What "brother-in-law Allen", #9? The only "Allen" I´ve ever seen mentioned is General Allen. Kelley´s ex-brother-in-law is named Grayson Wolfe, ex-husband of Natalie. His company was involved with Iraqi reconstruction thru the Bush administration.

Me thinks the twins went to the WH tow weasel out a green grant from Obama to bail them out of debt.
Thee girls lose sleep over the idea of their shopping being shut down. I know the same type woman but her scale of shopping is microscopic compared to these two.
It´s strange to me Obama would raid Browdwell´s house but not ask for the banking records of these women to see if they were getting wire transfers, maybe even from the general in Afghanistan.

Shanghai--The Chinese government is planning for private businesses and market forces to play a larger role in its economy, in a major policy shift intended to improve living conditions for the middle class and to make China an even stronger competitor on the global stage. (Snip)On Friday, the Chinese government issued a set of policy proposals that seemed to show that Mr. Li and other leaders were serious about reducing government intervention in the marketplace and giving competition among private businesses a bigger role in investment decisions and setting prices.

Some of the nation´s largest banks, including Wells Fargo [WFC +1.58%] & Co., suspended foreclosure sales in a number of states following guidance issued last month by federal banking regulators. While some foreclosures have since resumed, the halt marks the latest dustup over how foreclosures are handled. Banks said their actions were triggered by a four-page bulletin issued last month by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve. The bulletin outlined basic operating standards for foreclosure sales. Many of the nation´s largest banks were already operating under consent orders with the OCC or the Fed

Common-sense politics devolve into a season of craziness in this engrossing account of the 2012 U.S. presidential campaign. Journalist Alter follows up his bestselling The Promise: President Obama, Year One with a savvy dissection of the 2010–2012 election cycle and related political dogfights, including budget and debt-ceiling showdowns, the Republican primary circus, and the “Obama Derangement Syndrome” infecting Tea Partiers and talk-radio hosts. At the center are rich portraits of the antagonists: Obama is seen as a cerebral antipolitician with no “schmooze gene” who hates back-slapping, slogan-spewing theatrics; Romney is portrayed as a well-meaning

Let’s face it. The Great Gatsby never has been—and probably won’t ever be—successfully turned into a great motion picture. Many have tried (four flop movies, not to mention various small-screen attempts, including a truncated but memorable Playhouse 90 with Robert Ryan and Jeanne Crain in the golden days when TV still knew what quality programming was). Robert Redford was a perfect Gatsby in the pretty but boring 1974 version by Jack Clayton, but the movie was dead on arrival. The best I’ve seen is still Elliott Nugent’s black-and-white 1949 version, with Alan Ladd at the top of his form

It may go down as one of the great currency bets in Australian dollar history – a $US1 billion gamble on a Reserve Bank rate cut that has delivered a $US19 million ($18.65m) profit in 36 hours. The beneficiary, if you believe the rumour mill, is investment legend George Soros. Best of all, it appears the 82-year-old American pulled off the deal three times, all with different foreign exchange brokers in Asia, for a tidy profit of almost $US60 million. (Snip)Back in 1992, based on British government policy changes, Soros famously shorted the British pound,

Oskar Lafontaine, the German finance minister who launched the euro, has called for a break-up of the single currency to let southern Europe recover, warning that the current course is "leading to disaster". "The economic situation is worsening from month to month, and unemployment has reached a level that puts democratic structures ever more in doubt," he said. "The Germans have not yet realised that southern Europe, including France, will be forced by their current misery to fight back against German hegemony sooner or later," he said,

U.S. President Barack Obama gives the commencement address to the graduating class of The Ohio State University at Ohio Stadium on May 5, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. PRESIDENT OBAMA: Unfortunately, you´ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that´s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They´ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

In an email to CNSNews.com, the BSA public affairs office said the vote on the resolution to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone” was passed with 61.44 percent in favor and 38.56 percent opposed. “For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, with a focus on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training,”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

A Washington state Democrat is accusing Republicans of “throwing American infrastructure … under the bus” after a bridge collapse there this week. The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) cited the incident in an interview as proof Republicans were blocking infrastructure investment to hurt President Obama politically. “Well, they have clearly spent the whole last five years trying to tear the president down, but they have done it by throwing the American infrastructure and
