| If National Security adviser Tom Donilon wants to be the next secretary of State, he´s not saying. After delivering a speech previewing President Obama´s upcoming trip to east Asia and detailing the administration´s "Asia pivot" on Thursday, Donilon was asked during a short question-and-answer session about his interest in the job. (Snip) When pressed on his interest in the State job, Donilon only smiled and moved on the next question.

Comments:
Donilon, employed as the "fixer" during the last months of the campaign to keep any eruptions from spoiling Obie´s final run for reelection, is at or near the top of my list for "fixing" the CIA intel before it was given to Susan Rice to take public.

Yea right. Long time Dem hack Donilon´s idea of transparency is to leak like a sieve whenever politically advantageous to the Prez. With all the Friends of Obama (FOO) being mentioned for Defense, State, et al., it looks like Obama is aiming for a uber loyal Crony Cabinet that will do his bidding like Holder and Sebelius.... which means of course, get ready for more Obama funny business in tearing down this nation. Someone should ask Doris Kearns Goodwin how Lincolnian is that, to have a cabinet that is a Team of Cronies?

Donilon is the guy that Bob Gates told to shut the f____ up regarding the information that appeared in the NY Times on the Osama bin Laden killing. Gates is a mild mannered man by nature, not given to explosions. For him to take this drastic step tellng off the president´s National Security Advisor speaks volumes about both Gates and Donilon. I cannot imagine Donilon getting Senate approval. He is not a well liked man.

MOORE, Okla. Authorities have clarified and significantly downgraded the number of homes damaged or destroyed in this week´s tornado in an Oklahoma City suburb. Oklahoma City Police Department spokesman Dexter Nelson said Thursday that the most recent count indicates that 1,200 homes in the city and the suburb of Moore were affected by Monday´s storm. The mayor of Oklahoma City announced at a news conference Wednesday that as many as 13,000 homes had been destroyed or damaged. There was no immediate explanation for the differing estimates.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
