| Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip say they have launched a rocket on Jerusalem - the first time the holy city has been targeted from Gaza. Israel Army radio said the missile landed just outside the city - and there are no reported casualties. An earlier missile targeted Tel Aviv. It comes amid mounting violence, following Israel´s killing of Hamas´s military chief on Wednesday. Egypt´s leader has vowed to back Gaza in the face of "blatant aggression".

The weapons mentioned from Libya are GRAD missiles, rpg´s and surface to air missiles. Smuggled across Egypt and thru the Sinai. A lot of them. More evidence Benghazi was nothing but a giant arms bazaar serving every bad actor in the region.

Even if they do not land on the Big Mosque, they could very easily land in neighborhood heavily inhabited by Arabs. That should endear West Bank Arabs to Gaza Arabs.

Seems to me this would be the perfect time a quiet little strike by Mossad or IDF to level the Dome of the Rock and blame it on "rockets from Hamas in Gaza."

Stocks turned lower in choppy trading Tuesday, with the euro tumbling to its lowest level since November, amid worries that Cyprus will reject its bailout plan. JERUSALEM — An influential Republican senator has called Jerusalem the capital of Israel, taking a stand on an explosive issue between Israel and the Palestinians. Iran and Hezbollah, its Lebanese proxy, are building a network of militias inside Syria to preserve and protect their interests in the event that President Bashar al-Assad’s government falls or is forced to retreat from Damascus, according to U.S. and Middle Eastern officials. The militias are fighting alongside Syrian government forces to keep Assad in power. But officials believe Iran’s long-term goal is to have reliable operatives in place in the event that Syria fractures into separate ethnic and sectarian enclaves. A senior Obama administration official cited Iranian claims that Tehran was backing as many as 50,000 militiamen in Syria.
