Broadwell fell short of aims at Harvard
Boston Globe, by Callum Borchers*

Original Article

Posted By:PageTurner, 11/15/2012 11:59:14 PM

Paula Broadwell, the biographer with whom former CIA director David Petraeus had an extramarital affair, abandoned her bid for a doctorate from Harvard in 2007, failing to advance to PhD candidacy after four semesters at the Kennedy School of Government, and now faces the prospect of an ethical review at King’s College London, where she has resumed pursuit of a doctorate. The revelations about her mixed academic record add to the portrait of a principal figure in the Petraeus scandal who has refused to respond to multiple Globe requests for comment and hasn’t spoken publicly

She is an easily recognizable type. If you´re another woman.

I agree with those who believe this investigative journalistic zeal should have been applied to Barack Hussein Obama a long time ago. Who knows what they´d have found out about him if they´d only dug around. They clearly know how.

When will they investigate Obamas grades at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard?
How could he be Editor of Law review without publishing a thing?
Why did he lose his license?
Why did Michelle lose her license?
How could Warren practice law without a license and be a Harvqrd Law Prof?
Why was Biden charged with plagiarism? Teddy Kennedy?
Whatever her alleged shortcomings- they are infinitesimal compared to the fraud in the WH and those who enabled him and continue to protect him.

Good article.

She got too busy after meeting Petraeus and dropped the ball at Harvard.

well, hard play and no work does that.

Sounds like she didn´t mind a little spin on the facts either even before Harvard.

Obama´s political career started with two state-level wins built on "sealed court records" getting into the hands of a corrupt, complicit media that willingly made them public.

But he´s spent $2 million to make sure his records are harder to find than Jimmy Hoffa. Of course, the Leftist media aren´t doing any digging for them.

59 districts in Philadelphia recorded almost 20,000 Obama votes to zero -- yes, zero -- Romney votes. And many other black districts across the country recorded 100% -- or more -- turnout. Crick. Ets.

The Mullahs have an over-under betting line going in Tehran on the yield of their first nuke weapons test.

But in days, this nonsense is everywhere.

How about that?

I´m more interested in WHY 4 U.S. citizens were purposely left to die in Benghazi. This outed affair that the WH knew about before the election is nothing more than a side story to shut up any discussion on the colassal ineptitude that permeates the WH.

Maybe she didn´t get the degree because she refused to kiss the butt of the left wing professors. But yeah, the media is on a rampage to destroy this woman and who knows why.Making her the star villain in this ignores the fact the general should have known better.

The raid on her house and now this investigation on someone without a criminal history is mind boggling.

The split personality of the media on this is mind boggling also. They´re more than happy to sensationalize a hapless sex affair but refuse to dig one inch into the Benghazi debacle.

I wish the media would look into BO´s school records and resumes. I wonder if they will ever find the students who had BO as a Law Professor??

They keep saying Ms. Broadwell is a "married mother of two young children." When did she have time for this dear family? On weekends between Harvard classes? During furloughs from Afghanistan? Commuting from Denver? Or did she just drop those babies, hire a nanny or two, and make herself scarce? Can you imagine this woman changing diapers and making sure DH´s dinner is on the table when he gets home from a long day at the hospital? Can you imagine Wonder Woman on interminable play dates, making nice with other kids´ underachieving mommies? How quaintly Last Century.

India´s Supreme Court has created an official third sex for its transgender eunuchs and announced they will have a quota of government jobs and college places to help them overcome discrimination. The decision was met with jubilation by transgender charities who said it was a milestone in their fight against marginalisation in Indian society. "We are elated and thankful to the court," said Kalki Subramanium, a leading transgender rights activist. "The decision has come after a century of suppression and marginalisation by the legal and social systems. "This verdict is certainly landmark and a new beginning. The biggest challenge is the social recognition.

At least 12 people are dead and more than 2,000 homes have been destroyed by a large fire that wreaked havoc over the weekend in Valparaiso, Chile. Some 10,000 people have been forced to evacuate parts of the port city. Government spokesman Álvaro Elizalde says those figures are likely to go up as the fire continues to burn. The fire has been driven by strong winds, and efforts to fight the flames also have been complicated by the area´s steep terrain and lack of essential infrastructure, as NPR´s Lourdes Garcia-Navarro reports for our Newscast unit. Amnesty: President Obama often laments "our broken immigration system" as a reason for his failure to enforce its laws. But as a wave of illegals is about to descend here, the hard fact is that it´s his own policies that broke it. The nonpartisan Inter-American Development Bank and the Migration Policy Institute both reported optimal conditions for a big wave of illegal immigration into the U.S. from Mexico and Central America soon. Based on the slowdown in China´s economy, a recovery in U.S. low-skilled jobs such as construction, and rising U.S. interest rates, it´s fair enough.

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come.
