Planned Parenthood takes
credit for Obama reelection

Washington Examiner [DC], by Paul Bedard

Original Article

Planned Parenthood, whose federal funding was threatened by GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, is taking credit for President Obama´s reelection by keeping independent women scared long enough about Romney´s agenda for Obama to win them over. Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of Planned Parenthood, on Wednesday said that the women´s health group, starting in June, focused on keeping the minds of independent women open to voting for Obama by warning how Romney would rob them of birth control and abortion. That, she said, gave the president enough time to convince women that the economy was getting better

Comments:
PP focused on independent women.

I can´t believe they are so proud of themselves when their claim to fame is the murder of babies.

To me, there is no more depessing thought than that this election was decided by women who think it´s the taxpayers´ obligation to keep the "casual" in "casual sex".

Our country continues to be held hostage to the issue of abortion. Our country is going to hell, but these people can think only of their right to abortion. They oppose the death penalty, but killing unborn babies, no problem. They are pro-choice when it comes to abortion, but certainly not when it comes to light bulbs and shopping bags and unending other ways to control our lives. A politician MUST be for abortion; his or her votes on other issues don´t matter.

Ironic when you consider Romney´s mother ran for Senate in 1970 as a proabortion (pre Roe) liberal republican.

"During its 2005-2006 fiscal year, the nonprofit Planned Parenthood Federation of America performed a record 264,943 abortions, attained a high profit of $55.8 million and received record taxpayer funding of $305.3 million." ~ CNS News, June 15, 2007.

Republicans funneled record levels of taxpayer dollars to this group of babykillers, and in return, the babykillers support the opposition.

What could be more important than the right to kill your unborn baby.

What could be more important than the right for your son or grandson to marry his boyfriend.

What could be more important than rampant legal drug use by those who drive our children´s school busses.

Quite an accomplishment, especially when you reckon the millions of Democrats expunged before, during, or after birth.

Someone could answer the usual gotcha question on abortion that only the Republican candidates ever have to discuss with a snippet of a crying baby. They could point out that the media and democrats everywhere work hard to allow a child that survives an abortion to cry like that for TWO DAYS, in the hope that they will just die. Then they could ask the questioner if they are familiar with nurse Jackie´s testimony before congress about rescuing a baby that survived an abortionists attempt to murder it. These smug people are monsters.

I don´t see how Planned Parenthood could be proud of anything. Bad judgments and irresponsible behavior is not a basis for pride.

Massive grants from HHS to 3rd parties, funneled to PP abortion clinics that are now renamed Health Centers that qualify as ObamaCare centers.... $2-3B over the past 3 years, tx to Sebilius. Surely some of this cash bought the gazillion hate ads PP ran.

Which goes to prove that only way women can achieve their "liberation", is to free themselves from the "curse" of their womanhood imposed on them by nature. which is their capacity to conceive, carry and bear their own child,by using every chemical and surgical means possible at the community´s monetary expense, and thus enabling them to become like men. Simply put all women suffer from a pre existing disease!

A faulty steering apparatus may bring an early end to NASA’s Kepler space telescope, a $600 million tool in the space agency’s quest for life elsewhere in the universe. Kepler is the first NASA mission capable of finding Earth-size planets in or near the habitable zone, the range of distance from a star where the surface temperature of an orbiting planet might be suitable for liquid water. Launched in 2009, it has discovered thousands of such planets, including a pair just 1,200 light years away.(Snip) But yesterday, Kepler’s mission ran into trouble.

The Internal Revenue Service last year supplied a left-leaning nonprofit charity with confidential information about conservative organizations, which the charity disseminated to the public, ProPublica reported yesterday. The charity in question was ProPublica itself. We should acknowledge that "left-leaning" is our characterization; ProPublica describes itself in its own tax filings as "entirely non-partisan and non-ideological." ProPublica is legally obliged to be nonpartisan, for it enjoys tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which means that contributions to it are tax-deductible.

If it is proven that the IRS thwarted some groups from obtaining tax-exempt status in fear that their traditional or conservative messages might hurt the 2012 Obama campaign (especially if it did so under pressure from White House-affiliated operatives), and if it is proven that the Obama administration deliberately ignored warnings about lax security at the Benghazi consulate, missed real opportunities to send help, or deliberately massaged intelligence reports in order to mislead the pre-election public about the true nature of Benghazi in order to further a false campaign narrative of a near dormant al-Qaeda

IS CONSERVATIVE THE new radical? The fashion world certainly seems to think so. This season, designers filled their runways with restrained silhouettes that echo the graceful, showing-less-is-more aesthetic of generations past. Designers are reimagining soignée staples for spring and summer—skirt suits, twin sets, below-the-knee dresses, kitten heels and frame bags—that appear anything but moth-eaten. In fact, fashion´s neoconservative coup d´état feels deliciously defiant, given the excessively revealing styles pop culture celebrates. A quick flip through any supermarket tabloid yields an

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

Watching President Obama trying to dodge raindrops and responsibility yesterday reminded me of the moment when Dorothy pulls back the curtain and discovers that the Wizard of Oz is “just a man.” Stripped of his spell of mystery and power, the wizard is worse than mortal. He’s a fake. So it was with Obama in the Rose Garden. His performance was tired and trite, ordinary to the point of dull. His veneer of passion was so transparent that you could see him trying to summon his old-time magic by pushing the buttons

STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

The State Department, under Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, created an arrangement for her longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin to work for private clients as a consultant while serving as a top adviser in the department. Ms. Abedin did not disclose the arrangement — or how much income she earned — on her financial report. It requires officials to make public any significant sources of income. In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

President Obama’s press conference in the rain was not a success, if by success, his supporters would mean an event which convinces anyone who doesn’t work for him that he’s getting ahead of the scandal deluge. The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
