| Sen. John F. Kerry’s name has been linked to the Florida family at the center of the CIA sex scandal, but his office yesterday dismissed any suggestion it could cast a shadow on the veteran Bay State pol’s leadership ladder as “preposterous.” Kerry’s connection to the Petraeus sex scandal arose in court documents that reportedly showed that former CIA chief David Petraeus and USMC Gen. John Allen weighed in on a nasty custodial battle involving Natalie Khawam. Khawam’s twin sister Jill Kelley is the Central Command socialite at MacDill Air Force base in Florida

Who would want to be a friend with John Kerry? His mother probably had to tie a porkchop around his neck to get the family dog to pay attention to him. (I forget who came up with that joke, could have been larry the cable guy.)

Of course, JFKerry would know her. After all, socialites mingle, don´t they? But he´s a democrat and nothing will be said or done to keep him out of any important position in this corrupt administration. JFKerry who threw his medals over the fence at the White House and who besmirched our military when they were fighting in Iraq. No surprise here.

Of course, it´s preposterous to think that ANYTHING could dampen the ambitions of Jean Francois. For the record #2, that joke is older than Larry the Cable Guy. Much like the idea that JF has to sneak up on a glass of water. XD

The Bay State´s Senior Senator certainly gets around.......It has been reported he was also, at one time in his illustrious public career, a close personal friend of the late Ho Chi Minh!

Basis education for non-elites:
The 5000 people who make up the elites in this country spend all their time in each other´s houses, summer homes, Italian villi, Riviera chateax, and yachts. Bedroom arrangements are always designed for total incestuous, all night entertainment Their children all go to the same 25 prep schools and 10 colleges. They marry off all their children to children within the group. They are the god-parents of each others´ children. Half of the Fortune 500 top execs are in the group, career politicians, top media, art and entertainment personalities, Ivy League college presidents, top underworld and union leaders make up the rest. There are no political, religious, or ethnic restrictions. There are financial and race restrictions, however. John Kerry fits many of the required qualifications for membership within the group so who´s surprised that he knows someone else within the group?

Jill and her sister are pretty repugnant, but compared to what Kerry had to marry in order to have access to John Hunt´s money, they would be solid ´10s´.

Democrats were writing obituaries for California´s GOP after winning a supermajority in the state legislature last November, thus gaining veto-proof power to raise taxes. But their legislative lock may have slipped after this week´s special election in which Republican farmer Andy Vidak appears to have defeated a Democrat—in a heavily Democratic senate district—who had championed high-speed rail and a higher minimum wage. If Mr. Vidak wins an outright majority—late Friday, he led with 49.8% of the vote and provisional ballots were still being counted—his victory would put Republicans two senate seats short of reclaiming their veto on tax hikes.

CRAWFORD —Former President George W. Bush needed little help to blaze a trail Friday for 14 veterans mountain biking with him through open prairies, slick ravines and steep canyons. That’s because he brought the third annual Warrior 100K Ride — a three-day mountain biking trek to honor service members injured in Afghanistan and Iraq — to the well-worn paths at his Prairie Chapel Ranch outside of Waco. But even as Bush welcomed the wounded warriors to his home to thank them for their service, he made clear that his mission to help veterans extends well beyond the trails

Every Memorial Day, when I run into the grocery store to pick up those last minute items for the three day weekend’s picnic, I’m met with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) selling their poppies. We cherish, too, the poppy red/ that grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies/that blood of heroes never dies-- “We Shall Keep the Faith” by Moina Michael -I remember as a kid that it was very common to see paper poppies being sold around Memorial Day. You could even go to the post office and purchase one

Michelle Obama certainly knows how to work a room! In this case, it was a kindergarten classroom at Savoy Elementary School in Washington D.C., where the patrons were, well, pint-size. The first lady paid a visit to the youngsters, brightening their day with some silly dance moves performed in unison and imparting an important message about hard work and perseverance.Awww. According to the Huffington Post, Obama encouraged the kiddos to "try new things and not be afraid to fail, because we have all failed," and referenced Kerry Washington (also in the audience),

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. Marimow broke earlier this week. The memo’s a masterpiece, too. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience
