Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) nominated former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) to replace current Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) in a closed-door meeting of House Republicans on Wednesday. Gohmert reportedly felt it was time to halt "business as usual" in Congress. His nomination of Gingrich did not receive a second and Boehner was reelected. House Republicans held a closed-door meeting at the Capitol on Wednesday to elect their leaders for the upcoming Congress in January. Boehner is weak and useless. The Republicans need to find a stronger candidate. Many of us are losing faith in these guys. Boehner has to go; he is no match for 0bama.

The spineless House Repubs failed to elect an honorable Conservative, Doctor Tom Price (GA) to a leadership position yesterday.
At least Rep Gohmert had the cojones to stand up and say it loud.

Is there anything we can do to influence the vote? Does calling or writing do any good? Protesting? What do we have to do to let our ´leaders´ know we are not willing to back down because Romney lost. MILLIONS did not agree with Obama, and millions more stayed home rather than vote for either.
Enough playing nice with the party. Time to purge the amoebas in Congress, and get some leadership with spine.

Newt would be terrific. The Republican establishment has got to go. Sending them against the Democrats is like sending the volleyball team into an NHL game.
The Democrats with Obama in the WH are tearing the country apart, using dirty tactics and lawlessness at every turn. This isn’t your father’s politics anymore; it’s a street fight for the country. Put some street fighters in the fight.
