| WASHINGTON - Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is telling top donors that President Barack Obama won re-election because of the "gifts" he had already provided to blacks, Hispanics and young voters and because of the president´s effort to paint Romney as anti-immigrant. "The president´s campaign, if you will, focused on giving targeted groups a big gift," Romney said in a call to donors on Wednesday. "He made a big effort on small things." Romney said his campaign, in contrast, had been about "big issues for the whole country."

Comments:
AP throws some dirt on the grave. Romney ran a good campaign, but got caught in the give-the-people-some-voting-incentive syndrome. Needed to realize FDR´s 1936 buy out and Truman´s 1948 buyout, then figure out how to beat the power of the incumbency. Sometimes "gifts" and "free stuff" are, well, meme chose.

The Democrats talk about the aftermath of sex all the time because it implies to a young (single) woman that she needs to worry about this a lot.
"Obama is really concerned about my having sex. He must think I have a lot of sex. He must think that men find me very attractive. Obama thinks I´m sexy. I feel sexy when I think about Obama and the Democrats. I know what Lena Dunham is talking about. I´m going to vote now."
Why do you think Obama won the single woman demographic so handily? He made them feel sexy.

To put it more succinctly,Obama is the Pied Piper of morons.
It´s a 100% understandable to me why Romney is bitter and angry about the election results. His dream was to restore this country to greatness and could have and it´s all up in smoke because Obama abused taxpayer money for votes.
Romney also has to be wondering what the hell has happened to the media in this country.They have given up any pretense of being objective.

Romney can blame a certain NJ slug, the weather, and his advisors for debates 2 and 3 -- he went from Coolidge to Dukakis in less than 3 hours. Future debates must all be in neutral settings, moderated by nonpartisans - I.e. non media types, and the GOP must remember to never let an opponent up off the mat.

WASHINGTON -- One of the two women who videotaped allegations that New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez paid her for sex has said in an affidavit that she was paid to make the story up, according to a report Monday in the Washington Post. The woman also said she has never met nor seen the Democratic senator, the Post reported, citing court documents and two people briefed on her claim. Instead, in an affidavit she said she and a colleague were paid by a lawyer to make up the claims and read from a script, according to the Post.

An 80-year-old woman was knocked off her scooter when she tried to fight off a man robbing her of her purse in Gloucester City. Police allege that 22-year-old John E. Reed approached the woman from behind while she was riding her electric scooter on the 500 block of Cumberland Street at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Reed grabbed the woman´s purse and tried to flee, but the woman wouldn´t let go, according to Gloucester City police. He then pushed the woman, knocking her off the scooter, and ran away with the purse.

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
