Truth-telling on Petraeus

The Petraeus Affair is a hall of mirrors, full of so many distractions that the truth cannot be perceived. Nearly the entire pundit class is consumed with following the many titillating and alarming questions being raised. They are legitimate, but they are also distractions from a very, very big reality, that is so unpleasant that it requires a powerful and brave mind to see beyond them. Fortunately, for those willing to listen, a truth-teller, who sees the underlying reality, no matter what the heck was going on among the Real Housewives of Centcom, is available to explain things

Lifson is one of a diminishing numbers of truth tellers. And you know, don´t you...that we are living in the last days of Rome? The orgiastic excesses are flashing before us.

The barbarians are not just within our gates but roaming the halls of power, whispering into the ears of our corrupt elite. Perhaps the best we can hope for now is that they will save us the task of finishing off the perfidious quislings among us before we rise up and finish them off, as we will.

Most days very little happens.

I was so hoping that something massive would happen before I die.

....and I´m really old.

1- The Israeli / Pal thingee.
Please, I´m beggin´ you....either fight it out or shut up about it.

2-The Crusades ! As a Catholic School kid, I studied all about the Crusades but never thought I´d get a chance to fight in them.
7 years in Iraq & Asscrackistan struck that off the bucket list.

3-The Whole "Marxist Revolution" myth.
Perhaps we can fight that one out in the next few years. It sure would be worth it.
Or....we could just leave our children in slavery and destitution.

If Gen. DP can speak the truth then we will have a really big problem that we need to address right now.

Good luck with that.

From one of the stenchy ones...

Petraeus had better testify publicly. This behind doors with different stories coming out is not safe for him.

No he´s not; he was ordered to lie.

I want to know who gave the order...

The West Point Honor Code states that
"A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do."
This mentality is not supposed to be jettisoned upon graduation.
Obviously Petraeus and Broadwell saw differently.
We´ll see ..

To the end of our world comments, no offense meant but - December 22, 1944, facing the largest offense on the western front, ill-equipped, surrounded, low on ammo, no hope of air resupply, General Tony McAuliffe answer to the ultimatum by the Germans was ´nuts´. That is the American way. No need to surrender just because things aren´t going our way at the moment.

I sent this to a couple of fellow Ldotters:

Personal opinion: This is all about blackmail, pure and simple. I have nothing but disdain for General Petreaus´ actions; he betrayed his position and subsequently our country by thinking with his ´´little brain´´. The Hubs could have been busted in rank had I written a bad check, much less had an affair with a subordinate.

That said, I am not blind to the fact that it is human nature for anyone to stray outside the bonds of marriage but (as we were lectured by PIAPS) that is a private matter. IMHO, Petraeus was blackmailed into silence until after the election. Having just completed his review of Benghazi – paid out of his own pocket from what I have read – I believe the findings were devastating to this administration so they pulled a Chicago move and blackmailed him. This story is just bullshoot eyewash.

Odd, a mere general getting such tut tutting and no fuss raised with fdr, jfk, slick willy and probably other one or two presidents. Now all of the sudden it is a big deal. The moron in the white house is stealing us blind and lying like a rug and the press is giving him a pass. Not going to worry about a general and his mouthy tell all companion. This second term of the moron is going to be a nightmare.

First, Aye Aye to #10.

Second, General Petraeus lied on orders from the administration in order to perpetuate their lie about Benghazi, under duress of revelation of his relationship with Paula Broadwell. The administration then threw him under the bus immediately after the election. Now, he has nothing to lose by telling all, thus avenging the administration´s betrayal, and, if done in closed session, he is not impeded by his national security constraints.

Methinks the administration tugged on the wrong cape.

Petraeus has already testified under oath that the mob that killed 4 Americans was due to a YouTube video. He will not commit perjury and change his testimony. Hate to say it, but Obama and Co. will skate on this. And I don´t doubt they have more to hold over his head---these people are ruthless.

Rush said he doesn´t think Gen. P will perjure himself by now saying it was not the movie that set off Benghazi. We will see, but if he would tell the TRUTH, it would go a long way toward saving his reputation and showing he can step up and be a real man of character. And then the liars would all be exposed and could be dealt with accordingly.

But I think he will keep on lying.

What a nasty web this former General and his wife are in now, and all because they allowed themselves become a part of this thug administration. He took the offer of Sec.Defense, and she was given a cushy D.C.job. They were then hooked. Then the thugs moved him to Dir.FBI, which had been held by Panetta, and moved Panetta to Sec.Defense where he could play havoc with the military. In the meantime, the General is under their thumb in DC with the FBI. Pure evil, but the General should never have stuck his toe into the vile waters of thuggery and believed he and his family would be safe.

What is he going to do now? He has a wife, two children and a brand new son-in-law who do not want to die yet. What would you do?

ACTS OF TREASON

Timeline:

Obama was gun and missile running....(Lochkeed supplied)

Petraeus meets with Romney for VP slot

7/13 the Ethicist letter appears in the NYT´s a fraudulent letter probably from The WH...as The Sword of Damacles over Petraeus

8/6 Obama scoffs that Romney "thinks" Petraeus will be his VP

Benghazi 9/11 rape and murders happen as payback...Stevens for Kaddaffi

Petraeus signed on to the Obama coverup to cover his own indiscretions (Obama White House blackmails and threatens Petraeus for political control and to exact his ruin)

Obama reelected (through fraud) 18 million new Republucan voters enrolled...where or where did they go???

Petraeus submits letter of resignation with affair as excuse.....to aviod missile running exposure ( which many knew of)

Locheed new CEO submits resignation letter for affairs ( supplier of missiles and guns to Obama) now excuses himself to Congressional investigation too ( he thinks)

* Other Considerations:

.Obama rebels take out and kill and rape Russian allie Kaddaffi (turning LIBYA over to the Muslim Brotherhood)

.Obama running guns to Russian allie Syria in attempt to take down Assad and bring Syria under Muslim Brotherhood control...and get to the prize Israel

.This was a Russina sponsored attach in Bengazi...payback for what America did to Russia´s surrogate Kaddaffi...a murder and a rape for a murder and a rape...Kaddaffi begets Stevens...

. A victory lap to to rub it in ...and humiliate America,,,.,,Russian nuclear sub off our East Coast...election Day

From Lamecherry

"So for a short review, a synopsis, so all can look the expert, Obama tries to get Chris Stevens kidnapped while he is worried about David Patreaus in bed with Mitt Romney, so Obama sends in the FBI via conduits to "investigate" things as the cat fight kitties give a cover reason for all of this.
In the meantime, Patreaus to save himself from being blamed for allowing Obama to arm and train terrorists which got Stevens murdered, starts feeding information to Mitt Romney on all of this to head CIA under a Romney regime, not knowing in trying to save himself, that Obama has a sword over Patraeus in all of this sex stuff, just waiting to cut him off after the election theft, as things start to unravel due to the work of this blog concerning ANALGATE.

ButtreausGate is about the cover up of ANALGATE in which Dave´s Deep Throat got him into trouble."

Remember president Obama´s first pitch of the MLB 2010 season at the Washington Nationals ballpark? It sailed towards the home team dugout. The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance
