White House to Review
Online Secession Petitions

ABC News, by Chris Good

Living up to its crowdsourcing promise, the White House says it will review online petitions from states that say they want to secede from the United States. In the days since President Obama was re-elected, visitors to the WhiteHouse.gov site We the People have submitted a wave of petitions calling on Obama to allow 36 states to peacefully secede from the United States. As a practice, the White House says it will review and respond to petitions that obtain more than 25,000 signatures. Three secession petitions, from Texas, Louisiana and Florida, have passed that threshold.

And he will use the petitions to wreak more havoc on the citizens.

I believe Oklahoma isn´t too far behind. I believe all the "producer" States will pass the threshold.
Funny how it works out that way, huh?

It´s the only option left for a free America for the future. God helps those who help themselves. We revolt or freedom dies.

Of course he is reviewing the petitions. He has to know who to do the proctologic IRS audits on - if they´re signing as a maker, 0bamas their taker.

You´d have to be a complete fool to put your name on a secession petition and send it to the White House.

I won´t sign an online petition simply because I know that this is a petty, vindictive administration. The Democrat party will not tolerate dissension of any kind.

Wouldn´t it be nice though if we could set up states that had no social safety nets, encouraged new business and whose mission statement is Ready, Able and Willing to work?

It´s a foolish exercise. Everyone who signs these things knows nothing will result. But, I guess it makes people feel better to fling a booger in the direction of the Oval Office.

Count me paranoid. Poster 7 said the obama admin is petty and vindictive. I agree. Plus obama and his thugs are paranoid, vicious, reckless and dangerous. They bring out my paranoid side. I venture that anyone who posts regularly on his site is on an admin enemies list.

how convenient for the administration. They don´t even have to go out of their way to compile a list of possible ´´troublemakers´´. Those who have signed these petitions have given name and address and very nearly lit the neon sign over their homes. HEY IRS - YOU WANT A PIECE OF THIS?????

President Jarrett is probably most grateful to have a starting place for the reeducation program...

‘Holy Grail’ of muscle
cars found in old barn

“Fast N’ Loud” host Richard Rawlings has found what he calls the car industry’s “Holy Grail” — the first two Pontiac Firebirds ever built. Called simply “#1” and “#2,” the prototypes were manufactured by Pontiac engineers and were used as models for the 1967 Firebird, which revolutionized the world of sporty “muscle cars” when it rolled off the assembly line. “We found the cars in a garage in Connecticut,” says Rawlings. “They were in a dilapidated barn and are the very first Firebirds .?.?. they were hand-made .?.?. and were used by GM to decide if they wanted to build the Firebird.” Discovery

So, too, would a group of U.S. investors who have sunk $8 million so far into the salvage effort, without having much to show for it. It has been five years since the Tea Party movement broke out as a national phenomenon. It began, of course, with Rick Santelli’s “rant heard ’round the world” in February of 2009, which brought widespread attention to the idea of a modern revival of the revolutionary anti-tax fervor behind the Boston Tea Party. But the early rallies were small and largely attracted the same old die-hard right-wing activists, rather than drawing in new people. I didn’t know whether the Tea Party would become a real phenomenon until April 15, 2009—Tax Day being a perfect time to protest big government—when there were hundreds

Let´s get one thing clear: If someone could wave a wand and make Jeb Bush president it would be a very good thing for the world and this country. As his mother said, he is the best-prepared person. But as his mother also said, he shouldn’t be running. And the reasons are becoming more clear by the day. Problem one is that much like Mitt Romney, he is one political generation too old. Both last held office in 2006, and seem to have stayed there. Problem two is the anguished ambivalence, reminiscent of Mario Cuomo and Adlai E. Stevenson, which does not bode

Conakry, Guinea -- It´s hard not to be nervous, standing outside the Ebola isolation wards. The wards are a cluster of unassuming white tents in the middle of a large field, not far from the center of the city. Each is just big enough to hold around 10 cots. Two layers of zippers keep the outside from getting in, and more importantly here -- the opposite. Nobody goes inside the tent without spending 15 minutes putting on isolation gear. The nurse handing over my garb calls it my "space suit." I can´t help but think that going into an Ebola

Tallahassee, Fla. — Early on the morning of Dec. 7, 2012, a freshman at Florida State University reported that she had been raped by a stranger somewhere off campus after a night of drinking at a popular Tallahassee bar called Potbelly’s. As she gave her account to the police, several bruises began to appear, indicating recent trauma. Tests would later find semen on her underwear. For nearly a year, the events of that evening remained a well-kept secret until the woman’s allegations burst into the open, roiling the university and threatening a prized asset: Jameis Winston, one of the marquee names of

Almost 300 people are missing off the coast of South Korea after a ferry there, carrying mostly schoolchildren, capsized and sank. About 164 people have been pulled from the wreckage, and the race to find survivors is well underway. No one ever expects a disaster, but this one has especially stunned people. Passengers say they heard a loud thud, which suggests the vessel collided with something, but it´s too early to tell. "This particular ferry was built in Japan, who make some of the best ships in the world. It wasn´t anywhere near full and it was travelling a well-worn

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively
