Petraeus Sex Scandal Could Have

More than a week before the election, an FBI whistleblower went to a Republican member of Congress with explosive details about a national security scandal that could have stopped President Obama’s re-election campaign dead in its tracks. But the potentially devastating “October Surprise” was hushed up by Republicans. (snip) Because of Cantor’s failure to go public, the scandal exploded only after the election, as Petraeus submitted his resignation as CIA director and Obama accepted it. “I would like to congratulate President Obama on his re-election,” Cantor had actually said on his blog, knowing that Obama’s administration was engaged in

No, we don´t need a new party. The party is NOT the politicians, it is the people and the principles. What we need is to clean house. We need to clean the RNC first and then have to stop voting in these career politicians. We need to get rid of the good ol´ boys club. They do NOT represent the party principles or the people they claim to represent. They only take care of themselves and their buddies. Their true party is the Washington DC Elite Party (R and D only matter when it personally affects them).

Number 5, what you say is true and has been especially so for the past decade even before it became clear the GOP sold this country out without blinking. They should have retired from public life in shame or gone to jail. I´ve been paying close attention and I assure you there´s absolutely no chance any of them are leaving. After the recent election loss, they´ve doubled down against us, eagerly telling the NY Times we´re humble now, the spirit of 2010 is gone, and we have to take our medicine. This is true of both elected GOP and apparatchiks. Jeb Bush is very open about it, says we´re dangerous. As others have said, the GOP isn´t concerned with beating democrats, just with beating conservatives. They don´t care if it takes them the rest of their lives, that´s how deep it is. This includes the extended Bush family. We will never win with these people. Never.

If the scandal had broken prior to the election, the Democrat/National Socialists would have just needed to create a few more fraudulent votes.

The problem is Petraeus isn´t your average Obama goon squad member and nobody would take delight on blowing the whistle on him.I doubt whether this would have really affected the election outcome anyway. Maybe if it was someone besides Petraeus but not him.

Republicans didn´t make a good enough case against Obama when there was tons of material to go after him on. Romney sat on advertising money until it was too late.

Now we´re sitting around bawling about not getting latino voters when we should be making a rule of law case about deporting them.People have swallowed this "better life" BS instead of calling it out as part of the left´s vote buying schemes.

The cheating and fraudulent votes (like in Ohio, Florida, Philadelphia), supression of military votes, and the votes of the 47% "on the take" would still have ensured an Obama win.

Anyone who thinks that this revelation would have changed the outcome is mentally ill.

Cheating is designed to overcome all reality.
59 precincts in Philadelphia, over 19,000 votes cast and not one single vote for Romney.

This would not have made a difference in the sick world we now live in.

#17 is exactly right. The rot starts from the top. These people´s first thoughts should have been: "What would Axelrod do to us?" And then do so unto them.

If it made no difference to the electorate, then we lose, but if it sent those 3 million, sedentary voters to the polls, we would not be lamenting and licking our wounds today.

Nor would we be ready to embrace amnesty for illegals.

Mickey Rooney, the pint-sized actor who was one of MGM’s giant box office attractions in the late ’30s and early ’40s, died on Sunday. He was 93. As adept at comedy as drama and an excellent singer and dancer, Rooney was regarded as the consummate entertainer. During a prolific career on stage and screen that spanned eight decades (“I’ve been working all my life, but it seems longer,” he once said), he was nominated for four Academy Awards and received two special Oscars, the Juvenile Award in 1939 (shared with Deanna Durbin) and one in 1983 for his body of work.

Last week, news broke that a congressional candidate in Gainesville had a secret pastime: impersonating vampires. And superheroes. Some people would call this nutty. In Florida, we just call it Tuesday. Seriously, that´s not even our highest-profile vampire story. Remember the "vampire killings" from Lake County? Some of our stories are heartbreakingly tragic. But so many are also mind-numbingly strange. In Florida, we do weird the way Kansas does wheat. Here, giant pet snakes escape. And breed. And then invade our national parks. We have fish that eat people, alligators that eat people and people who eat people.

One of the latest tools targeting the growing problem of texting while driving didn´t come out of Apple, Google or Microsoft. It was the brainchild of two Orlando-area entrepreneurs who recently launched a new mobile app called Txt Shield. The idea behind Txt Shield, which runs on Android phones, is to short-circuit any texting capability when people are cruising down the highway, according to brothers Philip and Geoffrey Stiles, co-founders and partners in Txt Shield LLC. Parents can install it on their teens´ phones; employers can put it on company-issued phones; and individuals can download it to help resist the urge to

President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security caught then released 68,000 aliens who had previously been convicted of a crime, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. The report, provided to Breitbart News ahead of its late Sunday evening release, reviews internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) metrics to conclude that the Obama administration released 35 percent—or 68,000—convicted criminal aliens back into the U.S. general population when they could have been deported. San Jose, Calif. — A usually busy DMV office in San Jose was closed Friday after a motorist waiting to take a driver´s test crashed her car into the building and caused a gas leak. The driver declined to give her name but told KTVU she was nervous about taking the driver´s license tests because this would have been her third try. President Obama says the thousands of Irish immigrants in the US are being denied opportunities because of the US strict immigration laws. The President was speaking the traditional Shamrock ceremony at the White House as part of the St Patrick´s Day celebrations. The issue of immigration reform was a priority for the Irish Government delegation, led by Enda Kenny. The delegation has been lobbying in Washington during the St Patrick´s Day trip for reforms to benefit the 50,000 undocumented Irish there. President Obama said too many undocumented Irish were denied the chance to contribute to society as they were not able to pay taxes

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
