Russian president Vladimir Putin claims President Barack Obama is planning to visit Russia, the outlet RIA Novosti reports. "US President Barack Obama has confirmed plans to visit Russia at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the Russian president’s spokesman said on Tuesday," the Russian outlet reports. "Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Obama made the statement when Putin called a second time to congratulate the US president on his reelection." RIA Novosti quotes Putin's spokesman as saying, "Obama thanked [Putin] for the congratulations and the invitation

Comments:
Ahhh yes a second term offers much more flexibility. To all who voted for O for a second term, dead or alive, thanks for nothing.

If Putin behaves himself I think we should let him keep him.

After Obama has sacked how many generals? Petraeus,Allen, General Ham of Africon, Admiral Gaouette. How much more flexibility does he have now with these guys gone?

I hope Obama is feeling "flexible."

Is he going to bow facing Put-in, bow facing away from Put-in, or just kneel at Put-in´s feet and unzip him?

Maybe on this visit, Obama won´t reject an invitation to a formal state dinner at the Kremlin and opt to order room service at his hotel instead. The Russian press pilloried the Obamas for that gratuitous insult, and for much else. Pravda trashed Obama, calling him a fraudster and an incompetent - long before our press dared utter a single negative sentiment about this poseur.

We´ve reached a pretty pass when we look to Pravda to discover the truth about our own president.

Oh, and wasn´t Hillary´s cheesy gift of a red button (!!) to the Russian foreign minister in Geneva, complete with a mistranslation of "Reset," an appropriate diplomatic gesture - considering that Russia has thousands of nuclear-armed missiles pointed at the United States.

Rank amateurs all.

Putin is protecting Syria from Obama´s Mo Bro Islamo invasion... Obama will probably trade the State of Alaska for Syria.

OK... Maybe just all the oil rights in US waters near Alaska.

My fantasy follows: Once BO is about ten minutes into his drive from the airport to the Kremlin, our Patriotic pilots fire-up AF-1 and return to the US. Obama, comfortable in his surroundings, retires to his dacha on the Black Sea. Putin returns to imprisoning girl bands and posing like a dork for news stories.

It´s after the election and Putin wants his payoff from Obama. Best to get Obama inside Russia so he can´t leave until its delivered.

Reply 26 - Posted by: Penney, 11/13/2012 11:14:18 PM     (No. 9012703)

What a coincidence! Putin & 0bama have so much in common:

0bama wants to, ´´change,´´ EVERYTHING about the USA & his wifey only became, ´´proud,´´ of her country when he was elected so he could begin, ´´transforming,´´ the country, ...presumably into an 0bama version of the old USSR, which would be the exact reverse of the U.S.A.´s Constitutional principles, eh?

Putin, former KGB, also wants to return Russia to the socialism of the failed USSR.

This duo would seem to be simpatico. It´s a beautiful thang. s/

#23 something on that order will do very nicely - AF 1 needs a rest - a long rest.

Barry will tell Putin that he plans to scuttle our nuclear assets and they´ll work out a plan for the US invasion.

Wonder if they will visit at the same time:
Hugo Chavez, the winner of the presidential election in Venezuela, may visit Russia in the coming months, Venezuelan Ambassador to Russia Hugo José Garcia Hernandez said.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
