Jeb Bush Favored Over Marco Rubio
for President, According to Poll

Broward Palm Beach New Times, by Chris Joseph

Original Article

Posted By:jackson, 11/13/2012 3:25:44 PM

The election was literally six days ago (well, OK, two days ago if you count Florida), and Florida Republicans are butthurt about the results. So the fine folks at Public Policy Polling thought it would be a neat idea to exploit that GOPer melancholy and the infinite sadness and ask them to look four years into the future and tell everyone who will be president. The PPP found that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush leads Marco Rubio 28 percent to 22 percent as to who will definitely, without a doubt, for sure is going to be the next president

Comments:
Favored by who? the Bush family. Really, who would poll-test this ridiculous idea?

ALL the Bushes are members of the Ruling Elite. They all know better than we do how we should live our lives. Please God, make them go away.

No more Bushes please. The left would have a field day. I thank 41 and 44 for their valued service, but enough is enough. This is not a monarchy - so not more Bush, Clinton, or Obama´s. Let´s move ahead (notice I did not say "forward" or "on" too!)

Who did the poll? CNN or the RNC? Same either way. Time to purge the rot at the top of the GOP.

Get real. Bush´s loose spending policies and inept handling of Iraq gave us this mess. His brother would be no better. Plus with a Bush name he would automatically be portrayed as the next generation of evil incarnate.

This is a totally stupid and losing prospect.

C´mon folks. Jeb Bush was a very popular and successful governor of one of our biggest states (Florida). We could do much worse (i.e., ANY Democrat). I cannot understand why some self-proclaimed conservatives are afflicted with the same hatred for the Bush family as the Bush-Derangement-Syndrome-addled left wingers who plotted and succeeded in undermining both GHW.´s and GW´s presidencies. Anyone with a lick of good sense knows that the country would have been far better off under these men than their successors (Clinton and Obama). We are in real trouble now, so I have lost all patience with anti-Bush zealots and their continual complaining.

It´s so sad that those of us who ROTFLOL at such a phony poll must qualify ourselves first by saying yes, the Bushes are nice, yes they are classy. However, no way ever will most conservatives (of any color) vote for another globalist disguised as a conservative. The GOP likes dynasties as long as it is a Bush not a Kennedy. Some act as though the R party is the rightful personal employment agency/ playground of the Bush family and their hangers-on.

It doesn´t really matter.

The USA died on 11-6-2012. All that is left is for the corpse to implode under the weight of it´s rotting carcas.

That should occur within weeks of NØbama granting blanket amnesty and citizenship to 20,000,000 illegal aliens.

Whatever banana republic is left will be a one-party (Demon-RAT socialist). It will make Cuba look like a paradise. There will be no more US presidential elections, so all this guessing is just folly...

Jeb Bush was more conservative than GWB, but seems to have changed.
Rubio may or may not have a tax issue(was originally brought up during his senate run). Plus he may have a naturalization issue (at least for republicans).

But haveing said that, the polls also had Crist way ahead of Rubio and look what

GWB is one of my heroes; even though I didn´t like several of his policies, I knew he was a patriot and a man of honor, which is more than we can say for BO. I believe W got a lot of things right and we were lucky to have him.

That said, I think the Bush name is going to be politically toxic for years to come; we need to look for new leadership among the next generation of conservatives, those who can articulate our principles to the ones who need to hear them: The not-yet-but-soon-to-be converts who are still politically confused. Marco Rubio is one of several young guns who can do that job quite well.

I hate Democrats, so I´d never vote for one, but I´m totally opposed to the idea of another Bush in the Whitehouse. Besides, the commie mainstream news media would have a field day, and with over half of the American public as stupid as a chicken, he´d never stand a chance of getting elected.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush is tuning out the "chirpers" in the Republican Party -- the critics on his right who disagree with his push for a comprehensive immigration bill. If Bush decides on a 2016 White House bid, the son and brother of two presidents said in an interview this weekend that it will be a campaign based on his two terms as governor. "It will be based on what I believe and it will be based on my record," Bush told the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN).

ROME — For years, perhaps even centuries, it has been an open secret in Rome: That some prelates in the Vatican hierarchy are gay. But the whispers were amplified this week when Pope Francis himself, in a private audience, appears to have acknowledged what he called a “gay lobby” operating inside the Vatican, vying for power and influence. The remarks — which the Vatican spokesman did not deny and the participants at the private audience confirmed — appeared to be part of an effort by the pope to take on the entrenched interests in the Vatican

MEDFORD, Mass. — JUNE 11, 1963, may not be a widely recognized date these days, but it might have been the single most important day in civil rights history. That morning, Gov. George Wallace, in an effort to block the integration of the University of Alabama, made his futile “stand at the schoolhouse door.” That evening, Boston N.A.A.C.P. leaders engaged in their first public confrontation with Louise Day Hicks, the chairwoman of the Boston School Committee, over de facto public school segregation, beginning a decade-long struggle that would boil over into spectacular violence during the early 1970s.

ALBANY, N.Y.— An abortion battle could be brewing in Albany, as Gov. Andrew Cuomo plans to propose a major change to abortion laws in New York State. CBS 2 has learned that Cuomo will introduce a bill on Tuesday that would allow abortions after 24 weeks of pregnancy to protect a woman’s health. The bill would fall in line with federal law. Currently, New York State only allows late-term abortions if a woman’s life is at risk. Planned Parenthood outlined a 2009 bill with reportedly similar goals. The 2009 Reproductive Health Act would “guarantee a woman

Only Staten Island was safe from the wide-ranging spray of gunfire and sickening weekend bloodshed. At least 12 people were blasted in Brooklyn, eight in the Bronx and another four in Queens. The sole person shot in Manhattan took several slugs to the chest and perished in broad daylight. Sunday’s first fatality was Ivan Martinez, 21, who

MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. Jeb Bush said Wednesday. Speaking to Michigan business and government leaders on this Lake Huron resort island, Bush said the “right to rise” socially and economically is part of the fabric of American citizenship but has become frayed as too few students leave high school ready for college or a career. “We’re not rising to the challenge,” he said. “It is shameful. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

At the heart of this work, Revel details "The Tools of Communist Expansion," among which the most relevant for understanding our current situation comes in Chapter 16, "Ideological Warfare and Disinformation." The profound simplicity of Revel´s nuts and bolts account of totalitarianism´s Cold War advance, far from being obsolete
