In Ohio, the GOP puzzles
over missing white voters

Washington Examiner, by Byron York

The latest post-election question is whether Republicans were blind to the defeat headed their way because they chose to live in a cocoon in which they paid attention only to Fox News, conservative talk radio and right-wing websites. (Snip) Out in the field, the Republicans actually involved in the election are talking about different things. For example, in Ohio -- the most hotly contested state in the entire race -- Republicans are asking why a large group of voters, carefully cultivated through personal contacts and putative supporters of Mitt Romney, just didn´t show up at the polls.

Ohio, Florida, and Colorado clearly stolen.

Each state used a different tactic to count only dem votes wherever possible.

Maybe they did show up,but their votes were changed or deleted by the time they were counted?

Here in Pennsylvania, I am a registered democrat, as is my daughter. My wife and son are registered as republicans.
I was bombarded with messages from the President Zero campaign, right up to and including election day.
But we received just one call from republicans, on the afternoon of election day, asking me if we voted. Nothing else.
Zero had his ground game on in Pa, and shouldabeen president romney did not.

I live in OH, and they have to do something about the early voting. The absentee ballots are bad enough, but the dems were literally busing in people to vote, buying them lunch, etc. Since most of the workers at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections are surly black women, I´m sure these ´voters´ were not scrutinized appropriately. The Republicans are supposed to have a presence there, but I doubt if they ever stand up to these people for fear of the ´racist´ accusation.

I sometimes wonder if somehow Republican ballots are thrown out, or defaced so as to be uncounted.

What´s the mystery? We have many posters on these threads here who stated they would not vote for Romney.

Waiting for their ideologically pure candidate has worked out well for them, eh?

Sheesh....tunnel vision.

I´m a livelong Ohioan. I know where those "missing white voters" from Ohio are--they got fed up and moved to red states in the South and West over the past four years.

These are people who work, and that´s where the jobs are.

A big clue is when the democrats would not allow the Republican poll watchers into the polling places. Again, no action to correct or punish this abuse by any authorities.

America is now a third-world style dictatorship, where elections are rigged. We will soon be a third-world type economy.

Why don´t Republicans show up in nursing homes helping the residents vote the first day of early voting? Of course having a candidate with a couple concrete proposals to vote FOR might propel people to the voting booth.

#3-Our experience here in Chester County was different from yours.
My wife & I are registered as ´´No Affiliation´´.
On Thurs & Fri before Nov 6th we received 30 or so calls each day from the Romney campaign. 15-20 Sat,Sun & Mon. Even a few on Tues. 1 from Moochelle.
Maybe they spent too much time & money on the perceived ´´Independents´´? And not enough get out the Republican vote.
It´s over! I´m begining to get a crick in my neck from all this navel-gazing.

#9. No question that Republicans need a better ground game, but I don´t buy your snarky comment about Romney. The other side didn´t need an agenda, just $300 million to define our candidate as a felon, tax cheat, job killer, and murderer, accusations all unanswered and unquestioned. When you have an electorate that thinks at the 2nd grade level, that´s all you need.

They´re not missing, it´s just that they were not counted. Where is the media on all the irregularities at the polls. In 2004 they screamed bloody murder that there was fraud in Ohio and to this day they still drone on about it. Fast forward (I´m sorry for using the word) to today, nothing, even though there is much more evidence to the contrary now than eight years ago.

FTA: Developing a clear idea of why Romney lost is important because it will help Republicans fix the things that need to be fixed -- and not blow up the party if there are less radical solutions.

We already have a clear idea of why Romney lost and it has nothing to do with a lack of zeal on conservatives for Romney! It´s the disappearance of our votes.

This cannot be cleaned up until we get back to the original way of voting, eliminating the many, many days of voting that aids and abets democrat vote theft and multiple identies/addresses/states of fraudulent voters.

Lord, please help up who cannot help ourselves!!

Parents of the ailing Connecticut teen held captive by Massachusetts authorities for more than a year are pleading with the bureaucrat captors to let them celebrate Holy Week and Easter with their daughter, whose health is failing under the state’s custody. “We are in communication with the Department of Children & Families and Wayside Youth & Family to see if Justina can attend Easter Service this Sunday,” said Rev. Last Friday, in a speech at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network conference, President Obama proudly announced that the Justice Department had taken on more than 100 voting rights cases since 2009. The problem with that claim is that, since 2009, the Justice Department has taken on only 39 voting rights cases—and as former Voting Section lawyer Christian Adams points out, only 13 were related to protecting minority voting rights. And, with respect to some of the cases in which the department has been involved, it lost spectacularly—such as its false claim that South Carolina’s voter ID law was discriminatory. Or, I could say that Barack Obama is a cynical and manipulative liar. (Snip) The second would excite the emotions. Conservatives would approve. Liberals would denounce it and point out the exaggerations. My editor would smile because the controversy would attract more readers. This is trolling. Late last month the United States introduced a U.N. resolution condemning Russia’s de facto seizure of Crimea from Ukraine. As expected, the resolution passed the General Assembly easily. Unexpected, though, was the decision by Israel, long America’s most reliable U.N. vote (and vice versa), to absent itself from the ballot. This shook up the Obama administration. National Security Adviser Susan Rice met with Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and demanded an explanation. Lieberman blandly blamed it on a strike at the foreign ministry. What was he supposed to do, ask Israeli diplomats to cross a picket line?

When you look back at New Math (ca. 1965) and Reform Math (ca. 1990), one of the most striking and persistent features was that parents could not understand the homework their children brought home. Mystified parents were trying to advise mystified children. The parents, presumably the wise members of the society, were helpless to say anything useful when confronted by the weird complexities of “reform” math, which has now been rolled forward into Common Core. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
