| This morning on NBC´s Meet the Press, Andrea Mitchell revealed that the Petraeus would not have been public had it not been for a whistleblower who approached Republican House majority leader Eric Cantor. "[Authorities] have pretty much shut down any idea that there was any kind of security or national security leaks," Mitchell revealed on the Sunday show. "So, this is not a criminal matter." This new revelation that it was a whistleblower that forced Petraeus´ confession puts everything in a whole new light. How long with this cover-up have continued? Surely past Obama´s inauguration, if ever. I don´t believe for a minute this was Patraeus´ first affair. We will soon find out that Ms Kelley probably was one as well. How many more. What the heck is an "unpaid social liaison" anyway? I believe his behavior has been open knowledge for years and all that time he was compromising our national security. The Obama administration knew long ago and used it to keep Petraeus quiet . The FBI knew it. Justice knew it, Clinton knew it and therefore Obama knew it. Treason and conspiracy at the highest levels. Every single person should call the House and Senate Committees to get cracking before the Electoral College meets to vote in December and demand that heads role as high up as it goes. And throw the whole bunch in prison.

#15 I have seen an article that said no sex was involved, just wishful emails.
This sure did the job of getting Benghazi off the front pages and off the TV and radio talk shows. A couple of weeks and this too will be swept under the rug.

#4 The only thing that will ever make a difference in these elections is if we institute a law that says "only those who pay income taxes are permitted to vote." You don´t pay - you don´t get an opportunity to pick who spends our money. The issue is not Petraeus. The issue is who was there in the situation room, who knows the sequence of events, who gave the standdown order, and whether that person, Petraeus or otherwise, will testify to what Zippy knew and when. I don´t care about the women - but I sure do care about something serious with which to attack Zippy. If it comes out of the blue and damges him severly, so much the better- he can reap some of what he´s sewn. In Watergate, nobody died.
