| After an election campaign that featured jobs as a central issue, some of the nation’s businesses have responded to President Obama’s victory with a series of layoff announcements related to a variety of factors including the New Year’s “fiscal cliff.” A number of companies had hoped the election of Republican Mitt Romney would raise the chances of avoiding the cliff’s $1 trillion in federal spending cuts, half of them defense-related, plus higher taxes from the expiration of the George W. So many voted, aggressively and enthusiastically, for their own economic destruction. I´m sure they´re totally confused and incapable of understanding the consequences of their actions.
We will very rapidly evolve into a nation of part time employees - if we´re lucky.

Unemployment numbers are going to go up again and it isn´t going to be .1% at a time. Will the sheeple lash out at Obomination if it does? There may be two worlds (high unemployment and Benghazi) colliding in the near future, could it lead to impeachment?

Since leftists have feelings instead of reason, they will see this as business owners taking their "revenge" on people. They have absolutely no idea how thin the margins are for the vast majority of businesses.

Well, I did my best to try and get him fired.
Several of my conservative friends, however, were too "pure" to vote for Willard.
I feel that we´re not really friends any longer.

The Democrat majority voted - purposefully, and with eyes wide open - for serious fiscal decline. That means: they voted for your assets being devalued and/or confiscated "for the common good". I take that very personally. Everyone should.

How many people over the past 4 years have you seen complain about not finding a job?Not many,they just accept a jobless country as the new paradigm and vote on coolness or whatever.
When you sat 23 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed,it goes right over people´s heads or Romney would have won in a landslide.
Obamacare will cost slews of people their jobs but they´ll blame Bush for the poor economy,even 2 more years from now. The left is rationalizing all this as employer sour grapes because Romney lost but it´s actually economic reality. You can´t pay out more than you can take in is one of the simplest rules of economics..

I believe Obama´s reelection is simply the result of decades of affirmative action finally taking permanent root in the minds of Americans. When an employee who is black does not do their job we must pretend he/she does do her job and give them a promotion regardless of performance. Affirmative action is the real killer of American exceptionalism.

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
