Allen West is my congressman; he has every right to question the ballot count, since there are many egregious problems with the machines in Florida as well as the way ballots are handled. If Rep. West sees that the ballots have been fairly counted, he will concede with grace. Given the fact the machines have eaten ballots in some precincts, he deserves a respectful chance to check it out.

THe local CBS affiliate is reporting a voter turnout of 141% (not a typo) of the registered voters in St. Lucie County which is (FTA)´the only one of the three" the opponent won. Darn straight I´d want to see the votes add up properly.

Post 6, I agree. The RNC elites undermined Allen West. Apparently the RNC is also to blame for the presidential debates which set up GOP candidates for failure. Bias liberal "journalists" have.moderated every debate since 1996. Town hall formats are a travesty. Enough is enough. The RNC must be fumigated before we have any chance to win a national election.

Romney crushed Obama in the debates. My sad sense from talking to some people in Chicago, and maybe the sample size is too small, is that many who did not like Obama just would not vote for a Mormon. It saddens me deeply. I honestly feel in my bones that Romney would have been one if the great Presidents of the United States of America. Instead, our descent quickens, and the world darkens.

#14, they won´t vote for a mormon but they´ll vote for a mooselim? This is why one-warm-body, one-vote needs to be changed back to only those with skin in the game get to vote.

Not voting for Mitt cuz he´s a Mormon is an assinine attitude. Whatever you want to say about Mormonism and some strange beliefs, every one I´ve ever known is a model citizen, has liberty in their DNA, is clean cut, polite, generous and hard working.

Gee, we wouldn´t want any of that in the White House, now would we?

Rumblehog - you are correct. I told my wife this summer that if you are not paying income taxes, you should not have a say in who spends your money. That would clean out all of those on the dole who do not help fund this country, including those on social security who do not pay taxes any longer. No dog in the race. Then you don´t get to pick who makes the rules.

The republicans in NY State approved a redistricting that would have flushed Ann Marie Burkle down the toilet, but a brave NYS lady judge threw out that betrayal, and a better redistricting was created.
Even at that, though, Ann Marie appears to have lost to charlie rangel´s boy, dan maffei. But it was relatively close.
If the republican party gets its act together, there could be a huge resurgence of republicans in the House and Senate.
That is, if the republican candidates stop saying stupid stuff about abortion.
Just answer the question about such matters by saying the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled on the matter. Man, a 10 year old would be wise enough to do that.

#17, you should meet some of my Mormon acquaintances here in PHX. They will bend over backwards for their Mormon friends because to do otherwise would be a sin in their eyes and every ward in the state would know about it, they are that clannish. They will also be nice if they think they can convert you but otherwise, screw you. If you ever looked at some of the parallels between Mormons and Muslims, they are very similar. They expect the wives to obey their husbands in all things. I have worked with some of them. They are not happy women. Of course having 6-10 kids each doesn´t help either.

As for Col. West, keep on fighting. Hooah!

Of all the candidates in this election Patrick Murphy was the biggest doofus of all of ´em. A real nothing burger so to speak. A bigger doofus than that homely DNC chairthing.

Is there something wrong w/my math or has the author misstated the election law. if it is one half of one percent the 50.4 is within the auto recount range.

Thank you Congressman West! I was hoping he would have a place in the Romney administration if he lost his seat. Still, he was originally elected by Tea Party people, and can be put back in office in 2014 by same (if the actual vote count leaves him out this time).

The man is a true Patriot! May justice be served.

Col. West was kicked out of the military for having the stones to do what was necessary for the lives of his troops. That fighting spirit, that willingness to fight to the finish, clearly has not abated in his time as a civilian.

Does he need money to fight this fight? Send every dime the RNC is asking for straight to West.

West is one of the best and to loose to someone so much less than him no way if the votes are honest.

One would hope West can help expose some vote fraud machinations that can be demonstrated to have poisoned country-wide numbers.

I believe 14 is onto something. One of my colleagues -- a Professor of Business Management, no less -- would not vote for Romney because of his religion.

Too bad all conservative leaders didn´t have the will power to fight.

St. Lucie county is to recount votes next week. Personally I think Palm Beach county screwed up their recounts too, and the supervisor was getting very testy with West´s attorney. We were so disappointed when West chose to run in 18 and not 22 again but guess he had his reasons. I do hope he comes out of this on top. His opponent is a jerk. Go Allen go.

Poster #26, it looks like that to me, too. By the way, how many is "a handful"? How can a winner be declared without military votes counted? It´s as if government is only going through the motions with the military vote. Could their votes put it in under 1/2 percent needed for a recount?

Florida was still ´counting´ votes as of Nov. 10th.

It has been a state ripe for voter fraud since Sore/Loserman.

Now the fraud has been perfected.

The scanners were not working, the ballots were incorrect, and the list of egregious voter abuses goes on and on.

Florida has become Illinois. Add Ohio to that list of stolen states.

Take away the 4,000 ballots created by democrat precinct chairmen and West wins.
