No, Mr. Boehner,

Red State, by Daniel Horowitz

Yesterday, Diane Sawyer asked John Boehner in an interview if he planned to push for repeal of Obamacare. He responded that “the election changes that” and “Obamacare is the law of the land.” No, Mr. Boehner, the Constitution is the law of the Republic. In April 2011, following the failure of Republicans to defund Obamacare during the first budget battle, I wrote the following at Red State: If it is reckless to shut down the government over Obamacare, then there is nothing in the budget worth fighting for. Due to the degree of entrenchment of the existing entitlement,

I wonder if ALIbama´s FBI has something on John Boehner like they did on Petraeus. It is time for this loser to be replaced as Speaker of the House.

#1, I don´t get why the dems,to their credit, nominate FIGHTERS to be their leaders, wack jobs, yes, but fighters nonetheless. We nominate those with high estrogen counts and we wonder why we never get anywhere. I´ve really had it with this party.

I´m sorry,I don´t care for Red Sate one bit.I´m pretty sure they pushed to get rid of Lugar.

But that aside, eventually Obamacare will defund itself out of necessity. The left pats itself on the back for finally passing national healthcare but you have a quickly shrinking workforce to pay for it.

The left always thinks business owners are rubes who will knuckle under government demands to stay in business. They still haven´t woke up to the global economy.Unions still dream of unionizing the entire workforce under Obama, forgetting those costs make us less competitive.

When the federal block grants go away for funding medicaid expansion the states that have Obamacare will go bankrupt.

What´s really laughable is the left wants to keep some insurance companies running so union members get a better quality of coverage.Of course with no contribution increase.

#1, 2, yes they do have something on Boehner. Shortly after he became Speaker, I was in grocery store. The National Enquirer caught my eye as Boehner´s photo was in one small corner of the front page. It was a teaser-type thing referring to his girlfriend in D.C. I thought, oh well, we will see if its reported elsewhere. I watched and searched online. Quiet as a mouse. I believe the next week´s issue had the same. Then it disappeared and never heard 1 single news outlet or anchor mention it. I mentioned it here. Others had seen it too. I am never surprised at any of his scaredycat behavior ever since then. He is the PERFECT Speaker as far as the powers-that-be are concerned. He was warned. He will do as he is told to do.

Thank you, Daniel, for reminding the Speaker. He seems to have forgotten about our Constitution .... the laws of our land which he swore to protect.

Boy, what a surprise from Boehner...NOT. Unfortunately folks, Boehner and the rest of the establishment GOP has NO moxie. Get ready for an endless supply of capitulation. The country has gone over the edge...matter of time. Sad really...

There is an excellent comment at the end of this Red State article. The article was calling for action from Republicans in the House. The comment, on the other hand, was calling on the 32 Republican Governors to refuse to implement ObamaCare using their 10th amendment right. I believe this is the correct approach. It is time for the States to reassert their power to judge the Constitutionality of federal law. Our system of checks and balances was improperly constricted by the Supreme Court long ago. That body is not the only one that can challenge federal law as unconstitutional.

Did Boehner weep when he said Obamacare is the law of the land? He seems to weep every time he´s interviewed.

What a spineless jellyfish.

I get it. Taxes have to be raised sky-high on the producers so the 30 million takers under the Death Bill can get another freebee and the deficient can become $25 trillion instead of $50 trillion.

It´s not the "Takers" anymore....it´s the Looters taking from the Producers. Wait until the Looters find out that their new conveniences are no longer available because the Producers stopped producing!

Did you note Boehner´s comment that ´Paul Ryan is not the head of the Republican Party´? Methinks that he fears us still. Breitbart is here. the Tea Party lives on.

Under the Marxist rule of President Barack Hussein Obama, Uncle Sam morphs day by day into ‘Uncle Satan’. Ironic when contemplating that Iran has long called America “the great Satan”. Far more wily than Uncle Sam or Uncle Sugar, ‘Uncle Satan’ lures scores of U.S. citizens motivated by entitlement mentality with food stamps, free cell phones and unquestioned access to social security, into a trap from which they will never escape. Comfortable with the guarantee the government will look after them from cradle to grave, few see the walls going up around them.

Back in the salad days of President Barack Obama in the Oval Office, the first sign of the coming soft tyranny against We the People should have been the roughly 2000 car dealerships forced out of business by the anti-free enterprise cabal squatting on the White House. “It was Obama’s auto task force that pressed General Motors and Chrysler to close scores of dealerships without adequately considering the jobs that would be lost or having a firm idea of the cost savings that would be achieved, an audit of the process has concluded.”

Nobody drowned or died at Watergate. Nor was the First Amendment done away with. It’s time to quit referring to the White House’s current plethora of scandals as “Gates”. There is no Benghazi Gate. Watergate was a bungled break in. The Obama administration’s current round of scandals shouldn’t be diminished by comparisons to something as relatively trivial as Watergate. An American ambassador and three courageous Americans died at Benghazi and we still don’t have the slightest idea where the Commander in Chief was during the eight hour fire fight.

Do you ever wonder how Obama gets away with the most outrageous acts ever perpetrated by a sitting president with barely a nick to his reputation? Did you scratch your head when not a single Justice Department or ATF official went to jail for sending hundreds of guns over the border to Mexican drug lords with the expressed purpose of fomenting violent crime? Do you really think high ranking government officials are going to be held accountable for the now blazing IRS and Benghazi scandals? If these and other questions like them have been bothering you for the past few years,

It is now safe to say that if one cannot see the abject evil of the Obama administration as well as the endemic corruption and criminality in our federal government, it is only because they are refusing to look. Due to what some are calling a “perfect storm of circumstances, three scandals have rocked Washington, but these are only the grossest symptoms of the systemic infection that has been festering there for decades. Those such as myself who suspected on September 12, 2012 that the Obama administration’s narrative relative to the attack on the US embassy in Benghazi, Libya,

Armed by the arrogant confidence that comes via a protective circle of self-serving, back-scratching politicians (including Republican ones), who do nothing to deter his increasing taunts against all things American, President Barack Hussein Obama continues to publicly trash the cherished image of the military. Taking a leaf straight from the book of his overbearing wife, Michelle who used military members in full dress as props on the night she invaded living rooms via satellite from the White House to announce this year’s Best Picture, yesterday big brave BHO used Marines holding umbrellas to shelter both himself and

The term Liberal Redneck will strike progressives as an absurd contradiction. Yet, Conservatives will have an immediate, wearying familiarity with the angry, judgmental, uninformed and doctrinaire viewpoint of this group. In fact, the Liberal Redneck is every bit as small-minded, bigoted, dismissive, self-righteous, judgmental, uneducated and intolerant as the worst fundamentalist. The problem in America today is that there is never a level playing field offered for the discussion of ideas. Therefore, most important topics are only mentioned in a predetermined format. In other words, one can mention, for example—gay marriage,

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
