No, Mr. Boehner,
the Constitution
is the Law of the Land

Red State, by Daniel Horowitz

Original Article

Yesterday, Diane Sawyer asked John Boehner in an interview if he planned to push for repeal of Obamacare. He responded that “the election changes that” and “Obamacare is the law of the land.” No, Mr. Boehner, the Constitution is the law of the Republic. In April 2011, following the failure of Republicans to defund Obamacare during the first budget battle, I wrote the following at Red State: If it is reckless to shut down the government over Obamacare, then there is nothing in the budget worth fighting for. Due to the degree of entrenchment of the existing entitlement,

I wonder if ALIbama´s FBI has something on John Boehner like they did on Petraeus. It is time for this loser to be replaced as Speaker of the House.

#1, I don´t get why the dems,to their credit, nominate FIGHTERS to be their leaders, wack jobs, yes, but fighters nonetheless. We nominate those with high estrogen counts and we wonder why we never get anywhere. I´ve really had it with this party.

I´m sorry,I don´t care for Red Sate one bit.I´m pretty sure they pushed to get rid of Lugar.

But that aside, eventually Obamacare will defund itself out of necessity. The left pats itself on the back for finally passing national healthcare but you have a quickly shrinking workforce to pay for it.

The left always thinks business owners are rubes who will knuckle under government demands to stay in business. They still haven´t woke up to the global economy.Unions still dream of unionizing the entire workforce under Obama, forgetting those costs make us less competitive.

When the federal block grants go away for funding medicaid expansion the states that have Obamacare will go bankrupt.

What´s really laughable is the left wants to keep some insurance companies running so union members get a better quality of coverage.Of course with no contribution increase.

#1, 2, yes they do have something on Boehner. Shortly after he became Speaker, I was in grocery store. The National Enquirer caught my eye as Boehner´s photo was in one small corner of the front page. It was a teaser-type thing referring to his girlfriend in D.C. I thought, oh well, we will see if its reported elsewhere. I watched and searched online. Quiet as a mouse. I believe the next week´s issue had the same. Then it disappeared and never heard 1 single news outlet or anchor mention it. I mentioned it here. Others had seen it too. I am never surprised at any of his scaredycat behavior ever since then. He is the PERFECT Speaker as far as the powers-that-be are concerned. He was warned. He will do as he is told to do.

I get it. Taxes have to be raised sky-high on the producers so the 30 million takers under the Death Bill can get another freebee and the deficient can become $25 trillion instead of $50 trillion.

Earth Day 2014 arrives today with some environmentalists calling out the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its giant global footprint. “The Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility says the greenhouse gases generated by EPA administrator Gina McCarthy’s week-long, five-city tour will “far exceed” any concrete action on climate change from her travels.” (Fox News, April 22, 2014) “Frenetically jetting around the country appears to undercut [the] EPA’s message to ordinary Americans that they should conserve, consume less and reduce transportation pollution,” national nonprofit environmental group PEER Executive Director Jeff Ruch said in a statement.

The high-handed, armed sniper-backed Bureau of Land Management, which retreated from Cliven Bundy’s Nevada ranch on Saturday, will be back. BLM will be back because they never go away. Their harassment campaigns against hard-working land owners and ranchers goes back more than 20 years. For 20 long years, BLM members have worked non-stop at what boils down to trying to frame Rancher Cliven Bundy. It is time to ‘frame’ Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid point man Neil Kornze. Frame him in the kind of poster that identified cattle rustlers down at the local post office in days of yore. That way, Kornze

In the most intense publicly-fought battle against Big Government since the election of Barack Hussein Obama, it’s We the People 1, Bureau of Land Management boss Obama, 0. With their 200 snipers, helicopters, SUVs, snarling dogs and tasers, the fast-talking, high-handed BLM has retreated from the arena. There are some who would say outright that the BLM cut and run, hightailing it off of Cliven Bundy’s ranch, and some would be right. One thing to set the dogs on protesters and taser one or two when your government bosses are backing you up. Quite another when hundreds of folk are driving from hours

Coming clearly through the throbbing of helicopters and the roar of the SUVS of the feds harassing the Cliven Bundy Ranch, patriots there for Bundy should “tell it to the judge”. There is mainstream media-suppressed case history in Nevada the feds are desperately trying to keep under wraps. Chief Judge Robert C. Jones of the Federal District Court of Nevada smacked down high-handed, abusive feds, sending the pretend cowboys riding roughshod over Western ranchers and property owners back to their cobweb-laced offices in 2013. In spite of their 200 armed snipers with boy toys in tow, those Stetson-wearing feds hunkering down on Cliven

Don’t believe Internet headlines—no matter from which source—warning that Democrats have “major hurdles” after the latest poll. “Former top Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod acknowledged Saturday that Democrats face tough challenges in November, following a new Associated Press-GfK poll that shows voters increasingly appear to want Republicans over Democrats to control Congress.” (FoxNews.com, April 6, 2014) Voters out on the hustings for November midterms don’t want donkeys; they don’t want elephants. They want small-c Conservatives who will stand their ground against the America-destroying policies of the Obama regime. The it’s-all-but-over-for-Dems message comes from ‘Astroturf Guy’ David Axelod, who took to Twitter to get

Sinclair Lewis was wrong—when fascism came to America, it was actually wrapped in a rainbow flag and wearing an ascot. How else can one describe the ongoing left-wing commitment to the stamping out of free speech, whenever that speech contradicts the gay agenda, as well as other parts of the “progressive” platform? With the resignation of newly-minted Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich, the “progressive” Left, especially its social wing, has once again shown itself to be the enforcers a political correctness in speech and thought that ought to be chilling to any person who actually cares about individual liberty. While the worst administration in American history has been perfecting the Big Lie that all dissent to their policy stems from conspiracy theorist wackos, they are the biggest conspiracy of all. At this stage of the Fundamental Transformation of America, the wake up call should be glaringly obvious. The administration controls the ‘news’. They control the narrative. They call the shots. They do the branding and the smearing with the name-calling they intend to make stick. While various agencies under the control of the administration paint patriots as dissidents, the EPA, their lead agency for change, has been using Americans—including children—as lab rats. “Report:

The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas). The former 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle. "A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don´t think they´ve got enough experience yet," Dole said. The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

Washington - Michelle Obama said "splurging is the key to life" if you regularly eat right and stay active. Her biggest guilty pleasure: French fries. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning
