| Chicago – A former U.S. attorney representing embattled Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is negotiating a plea deal with the federal government, CBS 2 has learned. (Snip) The plea deal would end Jackson’s 17-year career as a congressman representing Chicago’s South Side and suburbs. At the center of negotiations is white-collar criminal defense attorney Dan Webb, who served as Chicago’s top federal prosecutor in the 1980s, when several Cook County judges were indicted for public corruption under the “Operation Greylord” investigation. As if any nation, city, government of any kind can be rationally governed by anyone of the Jackson types. They only know race baiting and corruption. Their version of "government" and the regular thing we used to know as representative, constitutional government is incompatible. People like the Jacksons, merely use the cover of government and millions of misguided people of color (as they call them "Knuckleheads" to quote our own current First Lady) to enrich themselves.

The unknown is Obama. He can pardon Jackson.
The political cost would be zero. The nation is well aware laws only apply to some people.
If Jackson takes the deal and resigns it would indicate that Obama won´t help him. Otherwise just refuse to resign, take your sentencing, and O can let you out on Christmas Day when very few will notice.

No Obama pardons will be forthcoming until after the 2014 mid-term elections. If events come to pass, Junior may have to spend a year under house arrest, but that`ll be the worst of it.

The funny thing is he going to end up back at the Mayo Clinic! The Federal Bureau of Prison medical facility for inmates who need specialists or have mental issues is in Rochester Minnesota.

LOS ANGELES — A farewell note left behind by the Santa Monica gunman expressed remorse for the killing of his father and brother but provided no explanation for the rampage that left them and three others dead.
