| Looking for something to read as Thanksgiving approaches? Or a unique take on what has made President Barack Obama such a successful politician? Or perhaps an explanation of Obama as an apostle and his “politics as religion?” You could check out “The Gospel According to Apostle Barack” by Barbara Thompson (AuthorHouse 2012). The mouthful of the book’s subtitle is: “In Search of a More Perfect Political Union as Heaven Here on Earth.” The book’s thesis is that Obama is not just the 43rd president of the United States. Much more than that, he’s an apostle akin to

The Prophet Obama would forbid photos and depictions of himself but he is forbidden to do so by the Narcissist in Chief. All hail the Lyin of Benghazi, the Slayer of Bain and the all powerful, all knowing Dark Bringer.

The Apostle Barack? Well Ms. Thompson have read The Holy Bible down through the years, at one time or another, from The Books of Genesis to Revelation.......No where did I ever read one of God's Apostles advocating unlimited abortion, to include partial birth abortion and infanticide!

I'm going to get this for the gartenherr, who has gon through a mid life crisis due to the death of the close friend, the illnes of our son (who is now OK) and having our church dissolve due to a pastor that let weak Christians become leaders. He is now apostate to the point of despising Christians and all people of faith, has become an obnoxious democrat and has put his faith in the govt. What's funny is that as a retired COL and a civilian employee of the Army, he knows just how badly the govt. does anything. This leaves him perpetually angry. The past few years have not been easy, but maybe this book will help him see the errors of his thinking by being so over the top.

Satan's objective is to try and create a "heaven on earth". He's tried for a loooong time and look what it's gotten him. Sorry, but his doom is sure, and anyone who assists him is sure to lose as well.

He is certainly greater than both. They were men*. He is pure God.
*Christ being both a man and the son of God is a difficulty for the limited human brain. A mystery that won't be resolved this morning.

NEW YORK — The New York Police Department´s widespread spying programs directed at Muslims have undermined free worship by innocent people and should be declared unconstitutional, religious leaders and civil rights advocates said Tuesday after the filing of a federal lawsuit. "Our mosque should be an open, religious and spiritual sanctuary, but NYPD spying has turned it into a place of suspicion and censorship," Hamid Hassan Raza, an imam named as a plaintiff, told a rally outside police headquarters shortly after the suit was filed in federal court in Brooklyn.

While the controversy over the National Security Agency surveillance program has dominated the news recently, concern about the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of Tea Party groups and other conservative organizations remains high and is inching up. Despite the large number of controversies engulfing official Washington, the number of people following the IRS scandal has actually increased in recent weeks. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 82% of voters nationwide are now following the IRS targeting story, including 44% who are following the story

Mixed-race people are more likely to be considered black by conservatives, who are subconsciously attempting to “justify racial divisions,” said the authors of a new government-funded study. The report, originally released earlier this month, has begun attracting criticism from those who see political bias in the results. The study was conducted by graduate students and faculty in the psychology department of New York University. Researchers asked participants to look at pictures of mixed-race people and say whether they

The Clintons are getting the old band back together again for one last geriatric tour. Hillary 2016. Because 22 years of Clintons dominating the Beltway isn’t enough. Her campaign slogan: “Vote for me. I am a woman. What difference does it make?” The Draft Hillary movement is really taking off. There hasn’t been this much excitement behind a Draft Hillary movement since, well, the last time there was a Draft Hillary movement. Remember that? Back in 2008? When she was the “inevitable nominee?” She was the “most electable” Democrat running? She was the only one who

President Obama´s nonstop fundraising for congressional Democrats is building a huge campaign war chest for next fall, but there is little hope that his party will win back control of the House and make Rep. Nancy Pelosi speaker again, according to an exhaustive new analysis. But the report from the University of Virginia´s Center for Politics also shows that Obama may suffer the fewest losses of House seats for a second-term president since Ronald Reagan in 1986, itself a big victory. "While it would be foolish to rule out any outcome, there is no indication at this

Following a well-worn path to Germany´s Brandenburg Gate, President Obama plans to invoke America´s most important speakers at the Berlin landmark -- John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan -- as he seeks to revive his promise to curb climate change. "Any time a U.S. president speaks in Berlin it´s a powerful backdrop to our postwar history," said national security spokesman Ben Rhodes as the president arrived in Berlin Tuesday night. "This is a place U.S. presidents have gone to talk about the role of the free world, essentially, whether it´s President Reagan or President Kennedy,"

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. And Sarah blasted him on Twitter as a bully. Is that, is it, is he a bully? Is he a bad, what is he?

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans
