This idea does not work for me. Divide it into 3 parts if it is to be divided. Democrats on the left, Republicans in the center, and Conservatives on the right. If the Republican party has not wakened up now to the reason so many of the voters they had counted on did not vote, there's not much hope that they ever will.

I, personally, am tipped. But I live in Peoples Republic of California. I have an idea that the grand schemes of the Dems here are going to turn out a little different than they think. The PR propaganda started on day one locally and nationally but the Overton Window is going to snap. The divide is real and getting wider.

If only the states had been allowed to keep their rights. Then you could move to the state that matched your political and personal beliefs. States with destructive policies would bring down their state, not the entire country.

The split is already under way, but not along state lines. The voting district map should be the starting point of discussion. There is no way that leftwingers should get the bulk of a state like California or New York, where a small area controls a much larger non-leftwing area. My family has started asking some questions of those with whom they do business - Are you a conservative or liberal? Are you happy at the outcome of this election?

Armed with the response, my family (in VA, NC, CO, OH and NY)is deciding whether or not those businesses get our hard earned dollars. One told me, he'd rather not say, to wit I left.

This isn't really a "thought experiment". It has already occured elsewhere and we know the results. South Korea/North Korea, East Germany/West Germany, Taiwan/China, East Berlin/West Berlin. Who had to build walls to keep their people in? Who has to control the information given to their people? But, who ultimately wins? Freedom wins. North Korea can't last much longer, and China is more capitalist that we are. It's just too bad that we will endure 50 years of misery before the "Obama Phone People" and the Honey BooBoos learn their lessons.

The heck with dividing the country down the middle. Just look at the Election Night map. The country is already divided. The Stalinists get California, Oregon and BillGatesonia (a/k/a Washington State) Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New England, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland , D.C. and Fairfax County, Va. We get the rest. Those registered "D" get to move to their New USSR. Conservatives finding themselves in "Blue" territory will also move. Then build a Berlin Wall in reverse so the Lefties can't get into our part and corrupt it. They'll be welcome to visit with visas, but there'll be no amnesty if they overstay their welcome.

I'm ready for divorce proceedings. We should take the Western half. (can't do Northern/Southern because the Mississippi would be an open sewer by the time it reached the Mason Dixon line.) It's the least developed and we like to build.

Don Feder wrote a column about 20 years ago on the same thing. It was excellent. And I was ready for it then.

If it does come to a Civil War, I think the Marxist Press should be first in the sights. They are the propaganda arm for the Marxist Democrats and influence too many people. Being rid of them we might solve over 75% of our problems in America.
