In the aftermath of President Obama’s victory, conservative political thinkers will have to ask themselves some hard questions. How much of our defeat was due to strategy and how much to structure? How can we reach out to struggling workers without sacrificing our commitment to free enterprise and individual liberty? How can we speak to single women without losing voters committed

The majority of Americans no longer want individual liberty or free enterprise. They want safety and security.
Democrats gained seats in the House and the Senate.

It seems five million who voted for a hapless candidate like McCain refused to come out this time. Find out why and target them. Don't dilute your principles for any one of the 47% parasites.

#3 -- How did you get that number? 59.9 million people voted for John McCain in 2008. The last figure I saw had 59.8 million popular votes for Obama and 57.6 million votes for Romney. I don't see a 5 million vote difference there for McCain in 2008?

I read somewhere else that Romney's vote count (and Obama's too) will increase since there are millions of uncounted absentee ballots. Apparently McCain received more than 1 million additional votes between election day and Thanksgiving.

Klavan explains. You have to understand the nature of the struggle.
Freedom requires that differing views be allowed. And there is no book with answers to every problem. Precise and easy solutions do not exist.
In contrast, for the Left everything is clear. It is a religion no matter how much that is denied.
First you get power. There are no rules except to win. Winning justifies all.
Next you make sure you can never lose power, This involves destruction of all alternate thought. And, as needed, the destruction of those having alternate thoughts.
Finally you can then apply the infallible principles of socialist/communist thought. Every one is happy. Every one is equal. Some are more equal.

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
