| President Obama signaled a hard left agenda for his second term in the very first words of his victory speech in Chicago last night. It required only 31 words (23 if you omit 'thank-you's) for me to become doubly appalled with the speech, delivered to a cheering throng at one of McCormick Place's smaller rooms. Speaking in Obama Code, he indicated what he intends for the next 4 years.

Get used to it. We were warned...but the former 47% who are takers has grown to an electoral majority under 4 years of failed economic policies and increased gooberment handouts.

Like Chris Matthews, I've got a tingle. Except mine is in the pit of my stomach. Unlike Matthews, which signals rising engorgement, mine signals rising gorge.
Shortly, in hindsight, the most pessimistic among us today are going to look like manic optimists.

Adios, America.
230 years of blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice, and its come to this. I didn't think I'd live to see the day.
Maybe somewhere down the road the United States will have Her Nehemiah moment, but right now I doubt it.

The only thing that kept him under some control was an election. The next four will be unreal. Presidental pardons may become interesting.

Bottom line, more of the same but on steroids!
He will surely leave America in a shambles. Given the electorate's inability to understand the Real Obama, I fear the takers have finally taken over completely and pandering of the Left will become a way of life, not the exception. Patriots will die a slow long death and those who respect the Constitution will be a shrinking minority. Rest in Peace America, the grand experiment that made the world a better place is dying a slow painful death!
Revolution is the only alternative to what we see coming...it's only a matter of time before the takers push the makers too far.

I just called the white house and said I wanted to sign up to get an Obamaphone. The volunteer said he had never heard of Obamaphones and did not know of such a program. I told him he was paying for it every month in his wireless bill. Clueless. He is volunteering in the white house and had not seen the Obamaphone "lady" which had gone viral on the internet a couple of weeks ago. There is no hope for our country. None.

Please don't use the term 'takers'; it really does not symbolize their philosophy properly.

We the producers will be subjugated to the will of the takers just like most third world countries. Not me. I'm retiring and making sure the takers can't find what I own.

You all are missing the worst part. Those were empty words that you heard from Zero. He gives speeches just to hear the sound of his own voice. His speeches mean nothing. He made many promises in 2009. He kept none of them. The promises he made: they will not be kept. He does not keep faith. America just bought a used candidate, and helped push the candidate off the lot. He will not run. He cannot be started. He now is free to play golf, to play basketball, to go on endless junkets, to do whatever he wants. No news conferences. No cabinet meetings. No Presidential Daily Briefings. He has no further obligations to the Country. None.
He is protected by a dual layer: Joe Biden and Harry Reid. He cannot be removed from office. No one would risk Biden as President, and Reid would never allow a trial. Reid will not even allow the Senate to enact a budget!
The Great Depression is coming. Gas $12/gallon. Unemployment above 20%. No health care. No medicines. Regulations governing everything. We are headed for a Union of Socialist States. Bread lines. Riots. It is going to get ugly.

When I arrived home late last night after attending the George Zimmerman trial in Sanford, Florida, I watched the Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs -- great game! -- just as I predicted they would, but it was not until I checked my email inbox that I really began to feel vindicated. First, I was alerted to a series of articles about a new documentary simply titled TWA Flight 800 -- that has the very real potential to reopen the investigation into the destruction of this plane off the coast of Long Island in 1996.

Mary Landrieu last Thursday showed what would be, for many of us, appalling ignorance. Debating against the need to build a fence to keep out illegal immigrants -- a proposal which Landrieu had earlier supported -- the Louisiana senator said to Senator Thune from South Dakota: (snip) "the Senator from South Dakota, who only has a border with Canada that is quite different." Consider just how profoundly ignorant that was for any grownup, to say nothing of a senator who chairs the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee.

As the Washington media continues to trip over the stumbling blocks of administration scandals and echoes of Watergate bounce off the buildings across the Potomac River, the question comes to mind: Will there be impeachment hearings this summer as there were in the Summer of ´73? There may indeed be impeachment hearings this summer, but not for President Obama; we may very well see that the House Judiciary Committee convenes hearings on the impeachment of the Attorney General (AG) Eric Holder.

I caught Sarah Palin on Fox & Friends this morning. Wow, talk about a breath of fresh air! While listening to Palin speak on various issues and Obama´s scandals, something occurred to me. Palin on TV fills a desperately needed void. Sarah Palin communicates in plain English, free of the usual guarded TV political speak. Palin fearlessly nailed Obama and company with the truth. Folks, I cannot express how good and hopeful I felt.

Here we are at the midpoint of the Obama years, assailed on every side by looming consequences of liberal hubris and liberal corruption. But the Obama Scandals don´t get me all riled up with partisan outrage. What´s the surprise? If liberals in the media, in the academy, and in politics stigmatize conservatives as monsters, racists, sexists, homophobes, why be surprised that little Lois Lerner wants to please her teacher? Why wouldn´t the Democrats want to do immigration reform and never mind the consequences to low-paid Americans?

There exists a certain real pathos inherent in the NSA´s PRISM program -- and not only because of its attempt to undermine American principles. PRISM, along with its doubtlessly enormous support structure, is based on a worldview that no longer exists among serious intellects (snip) PRISM is much like the other elements of Barack Obama´s great progressive crusade -- ObamaCare, quantitative easing, green economics -- elaborate and expensive systems apt to cause a lot of misery and waste while accomplishing nothing. Liberals like to boast that they are the rational party. But it´s an obsolete rationality

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
