Obama's Second Term
American Thinker, by Ron Kilmartin

Original Article

The first term was dedicated to revving up the socialist engine with ObamaCare passage. President Obama has given us many indications of where he wants to go with a second term, although he has not discussed these in his campaign. Some of these are listed here. 1. Implementation of Obama care, turning over the care of our bodies to mindless bureaucrats, with exorbitant taxes and death panels. 2. Demand that religious institutions and hospitals to conform to his atheistic Obamacare regulations promoting abortion and sexual promiscuity. 3. Implementation of a civilian security force

Fear for the Republic is beginning to morph into fear for me and mine.

How are we ever going to survive 4 more years of this shite? I could not even contemplate that without the help of my higher power.

The author left out the appointment of Supreme Court judges, which I believe will happen fairly quickly. Let's watch and see which ones decide to retire in the coming months.

We will survive. The country that we knew growing up is not the country that we have today, we all just refused to believe the polls. The liberals had the electorate figured out, we just didn't want to believe that the country was that far gone or that stupid.

And if the rest of the world is any indication .... conservatives only win elections by promising more stuff. In Europe for example, the difference between liberals and conservatives is what shade of red they use. The other alternative is revolution/civil war. And frankly, I suspect that revolution or succession would be just to inconvenient for most people.

We will survive ...... just not as the country that we were and with a different rule book.

It's simply a natural phenomenon. When parasites reach a certain critical mass, they overtake the host.

We're screwed.

You will not only be made to pay, but you will also be required to continue to apologize not only to our resident 'minorities' but to the world at large.

I too, will be relying more on my high powered friend.

....and legions of FMJ angels.

No problem with being monitored.
I am an enemy of the State. Former military, able to shoot a weapon, believer in capitalism. Yep, enemy.
I will soon be in a re-education camp.
Zippy is now free to implement his Great Leap Forward. Stay tuned for a world-wide depression, the first $2 Trillion budget deficit, and the successive overthrow by force of the governments of Sweden and France. Perhaps Britain also.
Rule by czars is on the way. No more laws.
Just promulgated rules.
Union of Socialist Republics, for sure.

Another Obama objective will to be to replace any retiring Supreme Court justices with more radicals. The court, itself, will survive as an institution, but I'm not sure that the Constitution will.

Another change we are likely to see over the next four years is the advent of a vigorous nuclear arms race in the Mid-East. Saudi Arabia will get the race moving, but Egypt and other newly radicalized countries will certainly follow suit. All of this prompts an interesting question: With Iran's nuclear ambitions proceeding at an unimpaired pace what will Israel, with dwindling support from both the US government and the American Jewish community, decide that it needs to do next?

Yesterday we watched Senator Claire McCaskill’s fantastical view of the world. Today, I offer you the perpetually unhinged Alan Grayson, who gives us his take on Paul Ryan’s budget: “In one case after another, you look at his principles, you look at his vision, and they’re a nightmare for America. He wants Americans to work until they die, he wants poor people who get sick not be able to see a doctor, not to get the care they need, not to get better, he wants them to die,

Like the proverbial monkey typing for infinity and getting Shakespeare, Mayor Bloomberg’s obsession with reforming New Yorkers’ health has finally produced a brilliant ad campaign. Posters are popping up in subway stations and bus stops giving statistics about teen pregnancy that show cute little kids saying things like, “Honestly, Mom … chances are he won’t stay with you. What happens to me?” and “I’m twice as likely not to graduate high school because you had me as a teen.”

A meticulous new analysis examines the benefits of government-administered socialism among a representative cross section of individuals. It is an insightful departure from the usual studies of socialism that analyze only collective benefits to society using statistics about such things as income quartiles and poverty levels. The new study is 27 pages and can be accessed as a PDF file via this link. As its author, I´ll summarize the results here. Julia, the president´s comic book heroine, is used as the baseline.

Pravda, Guns & America (AT, Jan. 11) quoted a Russian who advises: Americans: Never Give Up Your Guns, citing the bloody and tragic result of the Communists´ confiscation of arms after they came to power in 1917. The quotation has been echoing around the Internet, so here are more ringing defenses of the importance of the right to bear arms to the cause of liberty. Another Russian, the great writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn, wrote about the Soviet Union in The Gulag Archipelago (p.13, note 5): And how we burned in the camps later,

We are being played; it´s time we learned the game. Conservatives have their Constitution. Progressives have their Narrative. The current battle for America is between these two concepts, and each side uses different rules to fight it. One set of rules is consistent with an unchanging objective: limited government and individual freedoms. The other side´s rules are as fickle as their goals, which are never fully disclosed beyond the equivocal references to fairness and hyphenated forms of justice.

Global Governance Begins on December 14

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU), an imprint of the UN, is holding its World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) from December 3-14, 2012. The stated purpose of the WCIT is to update the UN´s "global treaty" on telecommunications to deal more directly and comprehensively with the internet. Knowing who controls the UN, it is not hard to see that a primary aim of the updated "treaty" will be to give credence to the regulation and monitoring of online activity in ways that are desirable to the (authoritarian) majority of member states.

The Governing Class and the Decline of America

The United States will not reverse its descent into the abyss of financial and societal bankruptcy until the current political and governing establishment is replaced. That will not happen until the American people, who have been deliberately ill-educated and deceived, experience first-hand the early stages of the turmoil and suffering extant in Europe and elsewhere. While professing to care for the interests of the average person, the underlying motivation for the vast majority of the governing class or Establishment is first and foremost self-aggrandizement and the acquisition of wealth.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. Marimow broke earlier this week. The memo’s a masterpiece, too. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
