I don't think we need a facelift. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan would have made a wonderful team in the White House. They are decent men with keen knowledge and a viable vision about what is wrong with our economy and how to fix it. What does this author want? Some rock star with a progressive message? We are a nation divided and 'there's the rub.'

Furthermore, we did not "have everything going for us." We did not have a lying press willing to cover up and distort the truth. We did not have a legion of poll fixers to cheat the vote. We did not have a World hierarchy filling our coffers. We did not buy the votes of illegals and the poor. We did not have union thugs to strongarm members and do dirty deeds. No, we only had 50 million tax paying citizens who believe in the rightness of the American way as it should be and two candidates willing to work hard to straighten out a terrible mess. God help us.

We need to become stronger in our conservative outreach, not weaker. There will be no reason for social conservatives to vote if we don't. Not all conservatives are wealthy, and without the social issues they will have no reason to vote for either party, or they may decide to vote for the Democrats because they promise more.

I'm beginning to think the best thing to do is to shut down DC permanently. Things couldn't be any worse with no government than they are with the government we have now.

That's all that counts. When you're down to a paltry 112,000,000 people in the workforce while Obama's bragging about 5 million new jobs,it exposes the true disconnect between reality and fantasy in this country.

GOP facelift - there was already huge pressure for a third party but everyone stayed put because of the importance of beating Obama. The establishment got their candidate and the co-operation of all the membership. Romney didn't do anything to scare the precious independents or say anything radical. The only thing the GOP has now is the house and it's leadership. Will they do the only thing they can do and not increase the debt limit one penny-and explain why! Their gutless leadership will fold again and Obama will continue having flexibility to destroy everything that is left.

I didn't sleep last night. I am a single woman who works very hard to support herself, working in a business service industry. Unless some sort of miracle happens, the deals we had in the pipeline will dry up as businesses shrink and begin to fold. God is my provider so I am not in complete despair.

What has me grieved to the core of my being is the moral implications of the election and the proof of the complete erosion of America's moral fiber. No matter how I choose to live my life, I will be paying for the behavior of others and to support them in their livestyles - I will be working hard so that other women can murder their children.

America as I loved it no longer, and I am desperately grieved that we are soon to become like Europe.

This article is ridiculous. Republicans are not the problem. They are our best hope for saving the republic. It does no good to win an election if you've lost your principles.

What we need is:

1)Replace leadership with unafraid conservatives
2) Constant education on conservatism
3) Go after the media
4) Fight like hell

The only problem I see is that some of our elected Republicans failed in their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, domestic and foreign. When they chose compromise instead of pushing back against attacks on our founding principles, it was a slippery slide into the chaos we face today. When they chose cronyism and wealth accumulation as a perk of their position in government, integrity and honor took a nose dive. Normal everyday working Americans stood up and shouted, No more, and the Tea Party was born. Last night we were knocked back on our heels. I see no chance of change until we see leaders who will stand up to this administration and fight for freedom. Gov. Romney fought the fight with honor and courage and God bless him for it. It broke my heart to see him lose because It made me realize that our best hope to turn this around had slipped through our fingers. Now we must travel the hard road.

Sorry guys, but this woman thinks the message in this article is an important one. Yes, the Dems were silly to portray Republicans as anti-woman, but the Republican attempt to win back women was disgraceful. I cringed when Ann Romney stood at the convention shouting, "We love women!" You don't win women by telling them you love them; you win them by specifically saying how your policies will be better for them.

Women generally are the caregivers - for themselves, their children, their elderly parents, etc. The GOP never addressed their issues, frightened away by the false issue of Sandra Fluke. The GOP highlighted women at the convention (which only Republicans watched)...and then hid them away. Mia Love, Kelly Ayotte - dynamite! Where were they after the convention?

Romney's campaign was based entirely on the premise that the economy is in shambles. But the fact is, the economy has been building; slowly, but building, for at least the last year. And our side chose to dismiss the facts as lies by the bureau of labor and statistics, even though there was no evidence of that.

The vote totals prove that the majority of the electorate vote their feelings, and not what is right.

Therefore we have only two options left:

1. Battle on a purely emotional and irrational basis - not easy to do for those of us who use their brains for intellect and not involuntary life support.

2. Crash the System - Going Galt won't do it alone. It will take a coordinated effort by all to quickly bring about insolvency and collapse.

It doesn't matter what the Republican Party does or doesn't do or whether 80% of the population votes for Republicans if the vote counters are ready and willing to commit voter fraud. The fix was in. That's why Zero didn't care how he performed in the debates and why he was so lazy except for partying with JayZ and Beyonce. He didn't care about the massive crowds showing up for Romney/Ryan. He knew the fix was in. And it's only going to be worse in the future. Only God can turn this ship around.

If the wimpy Republicans now cave and allow another liberal Democrat amnesty and "path to citizenship" for up to 20 million illegal aliens, who would then gain the immediate right to bring many additional foreign family members into the USA, and who once they get US voting rights will absolutely vote in overwhelming numbers for the liberal Democrats, how is that going to help the wimpy Republicans win future elections?
