| Many predicted this would be the Twitter election; however, exactly as happened in the UK election, TV has proved the decisive medium, rather than any of the new-fangled social media channels.[Snip] it would take four days to watch every ad once. The other thing which has been startling has been the pure viciousness, which has surpassed anything we've seen before in the TV age. If you don't believe me, take a look at this Democrat ad, which features a Paul Ryan lookalike pushing a struggling grandmother off a cliff: Of course, that isn't strictly a Democrat ad; it's

Comments: Incredible to find out the Obama campaign spent more than twice as much on ads as Romney.

No one should be stunned. This is what they do. This is not a garden tea party. If they throw mud we throw more back at them. Twice as much and twice as hard.

Demon-RATS are pure evil!!! Republicans know that.
There is nothing the Demon-RATS can do that shocks anyone any more. The more evil, the more desperate -- just situation normal for the Demon-RATS.

I am not stunned - that is what dems do and expecially our jut jawed, flapeared killer in the formerly white house. The blood of our citizens in Benghazi is smeared on his reign forever. His will not be a good history.

Not stunned at all. Of course they have plenty of money. Plenty of money coming from China, Venezuala, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, and every other nation who stands to lose to the oncoming american oil juggernaut. Illegal foreign money by the millions. What do you expect for a bunch of communists using gangster tactics.

Maybe the Brits are stunned, but we in the states certainly are not.
Let's not forget how Bill Clinton tried to blame the Oklahoma City bombing on Rush Limbaugh.

Stunned? What's stunning is that the GOP ever wins anything running against the Democrats and the state run media. The fact that Democrats prove again they are the ultimate small-minded, idea bereft hypocrites is a yawner.

If anything I'm stunned by their brazeness and shamelessness. I knew thy were low but this time they really plumbed new depths. No matter how many times a claim is proven false they just keep running with it hoping enough gullible souls will buy it. It takes a lot of backbone to fight an opponent who will lie with impunity.

So far today, I have seen a photo of a black poll judge wearing an Obama hat, a black panther outside a polling place, voting machines next to a huge mural of Obama..how about we start enforcing the gov't. quota system on poll workers? 12% of poll workers can be black..period. 12% of the military, 12% of gov't workers, 12% of teachers...

Stunned? I'd say that we are profoundly angry: ready to democratically retire, with extreme prejudice, the most egregious political scoundrel of our lifetimes, the only true anti-American ever to occupy the pResidency. We await his bitter and tearful concession tonight. I hope the rejection by American voters kills his soul. I have called this ridiculous character Mr. Potato Head and President Polly Parrot, speaking of which:
"'E's not dead. He was just tired and shagged out after a prrrolonged squawk. 'E's stunned."
"Stunned? 'E's stone dead. I know what a dead parrot looks like, and I'm looking at one now. This is an ex-parrot!"

Is the worm turning against Barack Obama? After four-plus years of being given the benefit of the doubt by the bulk of the US media, the President now suddenly feels more vulnerable. Today both the New York Times and the Washington Post have run prominent and angry editorials and columns slamming the administration for its attempt to criminalise a Fox News reporter James Rosen for working a State Department source to obtain a story. The "Rosen Affair"--as it is now known--is poisoning the well in Washington at an alarming rate for Mr Obama, with an indignant White House press corps

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.

There’s really no reason for the press to suggest that the recent slew of scandals involving the Obama administration — Benghazi, the AP phone-record seizure, the snooping in James Rosen’s e-mail, the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, and so on — are a confusing jumble. There is a very clear thread running through all of the administration’s actions: The U.S. deputy chief of mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks, says that he was told not to speak to a member of Congress about Benghazi without a State Department lawyer present, that he received a phone call from Hillary Clinton’s
