The bottled-up rules to set up President Barack Obama’s health care reform law are going to start flowing quickly right after Election Day. But how long will that last? That depends on who wins the presidency. he once-steady stream of regulations and rules from the Obama administration — instructions for insurance companies, hospitals and states on how to put the law in place — has slowed to a trickle in recent months in an attempt to avoid controversies before the election.(Snip)HHS is expected to begin to release the backlog of regulations.

In PA kids on medicade have been cut off from their regular doctors - this includes disabled kids who need the services of specialists, kids that need leg braces and neurologists - as their providers are switched around somehow due to Obamacare. It's only supposed to be temporary. We'll see.
If the American people want rid of this law they have to at least give Romney a GOP Senate. Not really sure how much of Obamacare can be ''gutted'' using mere reconciliation - but I suspect quite a lot). As for those impending 'permanent rules', those rules would be like what my dentist likes to call 'permanent crowns'. They can be yanked off with a bit of effort by the new administration.
These are people who are SUPPOSED TO represent the citizens of this country and do what the citizens want. So instead, they hide what they are doing until it is too late to do anything to stop it?? Talk about tyrants and dictators!!! This is NOT our supposed Representative Government!! This is pure evil!
The SCOTUS has already determined that States can’t be punished for not implementing -0-care.
Yes, -0- will rig the place to burn down as he leaves the room – it’s what small-minded megalomaniacs do. The majority of the country doesn’t want -0-care, and 2010 and this election are largely about it. Ergo, -0- will try to implement as much as possible against the will of the people. Anything he does now, however, can still be undone. It won’t be until the program is actually funded, set up and running that it will be impossible to uproot.
I also don’t agree that the full repeal of -0-care will be “impossible” without 51 GOP votes in the Senate. Democrats may be stupid in general, but they also have a certain degree of political self-preservation instinct. It won’t be difficult to pull in the necessary votes.

Everyone should know that the healthcare insurers are freaking out over a Romney/Ryan win--and if the Senate goes under Republican control. You'll remember that most were among the biggest cheerleaders for the ACA (Obamacare)--and throw in there one of the biggest Medicare Advantage insurers, AARP.
What you may not know is that every insurer has been planning around the ACA for two years. All their plans around care models in primary care and with health systems, plus the insurance exchanges, have been knocked into the proverbial cocked hat.
This is not to defend the insurers AT ALL. They have squeezed physicians and other providers like lemons. They have made it difficult to provide care with prior authorizations. They have slowed payments to smaller practices so they go broke. Their senior management and CEOs are compensated well beyond their real worth. So it's ironic that a new administration would kick their best laid plans in the pants....
Wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see some of those hidden rules turn out to require:
- full coverage of sex-change surgery - mandatory abortions for all minority mothers and those who make less than $100K a year - contraceptive dispensing machines in every building open to the public, including churches - no healthcare for anyone who smokes, except pot smokers, or who can be shown to have purchased soda or red meat in the last 3 years - no healthcare for anyone over 55 or under 6 months
Read the article. Spells out why the regulations would come fast and furious if Obama wins and even faster and more furious if Romney wins.
The part I find most interesting though is why they want all this hidden until after the election. It is pretty obvious that they know the regulations will be unpopular, otherwise then would at least announce what the regulations are going to be. Apparently, they think the American people like surprises -- or are too stupid to realize what they are up to.
Brought to you by the Demonrat party. You can bet your boots that Piglosi and dingy Harry will not have the same insurance that you will be forced to participate in. The congressional staffers are just as corrupt, since they will also have elite ruling class health care. Big Government is not our friend.
Bruce Jenner wants a cosmetic surgeon to take a bite out of his Adam’s apple. The Olympic gold medalist met with a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Thursday to discuss smoothing out his neck, TMZ.com reported. Radio host Rush Limbaugh accused President Obama on Friday of trying to do “everything and anything he can to link himself to” Nelson Mandela after the former South African president’s death. “Now, forgive me, but if you are a low-information voter and you’re watching the CBS Evening News last night, you would come away with the impression that the important thing about Nelson Mandela’s death was that he had looked up Barack Obama when he came to town and had a picture of Obama when he died,” Mr. Limbaugh said on his show Friday. “Classic, folks. Absolutely classic — and the
THE DREAM OF owning a winery is one that many may harbor but few are actually able to fulfill. The expense is considerable and the odds of success are incredibly long. Vice President Biden promoted local economic development Thursday, and also weighed in on the Senate dispute over filibuster. (Snip)Biden, a Delaware native, visited the new Capriotti´s outpost in downtown Washington, D.C., for a takeout order to be consumed during lunch with Obama at the White House. The vice president paid $56.25 cash for his order. Republicans quickly pointed out that Biden opposed filibuster changes back when Democrats were a minority in the Senate.
Senate Democrats bowled over Republicans on Thursday to win approval for a highly controversial rule change which would limit the GOP´s ability to block nominees. Majority Leader Harry Reid, moving quickly following days of speculation, used the so-called "nuclear option" to pass the change. Typically, major changes like this take 67 votes, but he did it with just a simple majority.(Snip) The late Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va., said in 2010 that changing the rules would "destroy the uniqueness of this institution." "In the hands of a tyrannical majority and leadership, that kind of emasculation of the cloture rule would mean that minority

In August 2013 I became very sick with what I thought was a cold. After a few days I lost vision in my left eye and I checked into the hospital. I soon found out that what I thought was a summer cold was actually Strep bacteria poisoning my blood stream. The bacteria blinded my left eye, ate a hole through my heart, caused five strokes on both sides of my brain and forced the removal of my prosthetic left knee. Dr. Lee was the surgeon assigned to perform open heart surgery. What was originally scheduled to last four hours ended

Views of the tea party are at all-time lows in a new poll, as primary challenges to establishment Republicans continue to heat up Washington. Just 30 percent of Americans view the tea party favorably in a new Gallup poll released Wednesday, the movement’s lowest point since Gallup began polling about it during its rise in 2010. Also in a first, a majority of Americans had an unfavorable view of the tea party, at 51 percent. Similar numbers of respondents described themselves as proponents or opponents of the tea party: Twenty-two percent identified themselves as tea party supporters, while 24 percent said they
WASHINGTON – It’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of the budget deal.“Embrace the suck,” House minority leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi told fellow Democrats Thursday morning, a source told Politico.“We need to get this off the table so we can go forward,” she added. It’s a way of telling her colleagues the budget deal negotiated with Republicans is the best they can get. Democrats are fuming that the bipartisan budget deal doesn’t extend unemployment benefits for more than a million Americans. One of Pelosi’s top lieutenants, Rep. Chris Van Hollen, the top Democrat on the House Budget Committee, said Thursday it
Columnist Charles Krauthammer attacked new Obamacare rules unveiled by HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in a late Thursday conference call, saying the Obama administration is “approach[ing] banana republic lawlessness” by issuing the decrees. Krauthammer spoke with Fox News’ Bret Baier on a panel with Juan Williams and Judge Andrew Napolitano, as the three reacted to Sebelius’ new directives for insurance companies. “This is exactly a reaction to a deep understanding among Democrats that [Obamacare] is a train wreck,” he said. “And it’s a panic reaction. As the judge said, this is utterly lawless. This now approaches banana republic lawlessness.
