Limbaugh to Brian Williams:
NBC, MSNBC have their
own 'mess' to clean up

Daily Caller, by Jeff Poor

Original Article

Posted By:Donttaxmebro, 11/2/2012 6:36:51 PM

On his Thursday night broadcast of NBC’s “Rock Center,” Brian Williams took a few jabs at conservative talker Rush Limbaugh for referring to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as a “Greek column” supporting President Barack Obama. “So after all this [Hurricane Sandy] loss you might be curious as to why Rush Limbaugh went after Gov. Christie today,” Williams said. “It was because he was getting along so well with the president, working together, saying nice things about Barack Obama. Just when we think the storm wiped away everything, we learned politics survived.”

Comments:
"Does Benghazi ring a bell to any of you at NBC?"

Ain't that the truth. If they're going to quibble over Limbaugh, but ignore Benghazi - that's a crying shame!

Not to worry Rush. We are doing our job. We don't watch them anymore and they have the ratings to prove it. They are becoming irrelevant because we the people are choosing to ignore them.

Thanks Rush.

Williams is proving that he is no more than a male bimbo newsreader.

Stupid to take on Rush, he's going to answer and has a forum. Williams must of confused him with many of the Republicans on Capital Hill who just grin and take it.

I heard Rush today. Brian Williams has made himself look foolish.

Was spot-on from Rush.

Obama was using Christie to get the response and reaction from the fawning Brian Williams.

Hey, Brian, how about those union thugs turning away help due to non-union members?
How about the enviro-nuts declaring the Jersey Shore areas should be allowed to rebuild.

Those are both political moves.

If Brian Williams would ever get his lips off Obama's rear end, may be he would see some of the other news going on.

Williams and his Lib buddies have your 6 Rush. Just dont try to call them on it.

Reply 10 - Posted by: Daisymay, 11/2/2012 8:11:47 PM     (No. 8983662)

Rush is the only one who had the guts to call out Christie for what he did just a few days ahead of the Presidential election. He COULD have met the President at his Plane and went somewhere to discuss what he needed. He didn't NEED to put his arm around Obama and give the Libs a Photo op. He didn't need to go on National TV and go on and on about how wonderful Obama was and how happy he was to work with him. I wonder how Romney felt. It probably felt like a kick in the gut coming from the Key Not Speaker at his Convention. Turn on MSNBC or CNN and you can't miss them POINTING OUT how great a job Christie thinks Obama is doing. I think Romney made a wise choice not to pick Christie. He doesn't have common sense or he wouldn't have done that!

~~“Does Benghazi ring a bell to any of you at NBC?” he continued. “Does the name alert you to anything? I know it’s not as cool as Iran-Contra or Watergate or Katrina. Those all involved Republicans.”~~

As usual, Rush is right!

Great Rush smack-down. Next time, bring up Valerie Plame. They spent more time on that joke of a non-scandal.

BURN! Rush lets Brian have it between the eyes.

Hey Brian, who gets more air time every day, you or Rush? Which one of you makes more money?

Brian looks like such a lightweight.

So Brian does a little ad for Rush which draws attention to the show whereby people will want to tune-in to hear his response? Rush loves it. And this close to the election too? Pefect!

Barry is well known for having denying Republican run states from getting any disaster support. Christie determined that the hurricane was the perfect reason to get disaster support because if Barry denied it, then Barry was for sure toast in the election.

On his Friday radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin challenged support from for this current of immigration reform coming from prominent Republicans, particularly Jeb Bush and Karl Rove. Levin, author of “Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America,” began his attack by arguing some members of the Republican Party make policy gestures without mentioning the U.S. Constitution. “It amazes me how few Republicans in elected office actually talk about the Constitution,” Levin said. “They have no more respect for it, no more concern about its boundaries and limits than the left. That’s why I say they’re neo-statist.”

On Tuesday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer argued that Attorney General Eric Holder is now a liability for President Barack Obama on either of two grounds: lying under oath or incompetence. Krauthammer said Holder’s remarks about his knowledge of the much-publicized Justice Department probe of Fox News Channel correspondent James Rosen suggested Holder was either out of it or had blatantly lied to Congress in testimony about his knowledge of the probe. “The fact that he says that the gravity of the situation didn’t sink in until yesterday makes you wonder

On Michael Graham’s Massachusetts-based radio show on Thursday, National Review columnist Mark Steyn reacted to the treatment of Lois Lerner, the now-suspended head of the Internal Revenue Service’s division on tax-exempt organizations. Lerner, who had asserted her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination during an appearance before the House Oversight Committee in a hearing on Wednesday, was the object of ridicule by Steyn on the show. “Is this a republic or is it not?” Steyn said. “Because, if it is what a republic is then you guys wasted your whole time with your revolution — because they are basically saying

Long before the Internal Revenue Service revealed it had improperly targeted conservative 501(c)(4) groups, a group of Democratic senators led by New York Sen. Chuck Schumer urged the IRS to do just that. The IRS’s admission last Friday that it had singled out tea party and other groups for extra audits and delays has raised concerns that President Barack Obama’s administration quietly attempted to stymy opponents through intimidation. But many prominent Democrats — including Montana Sen. Max Baucus, Americans United for the Separation of Church and State and the New York Times editorial board — had been

On Hugh Hewitt’s Thursday night program, National Review columnist Mark Steyn explained why the Obama administration’s response to last September’s terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was so appalling.“They let him die, and then told lies over his coffin,” he told fill-in host Guy Benson. Steyn said that the late U.S. ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens was a true believer of President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s view of the Arab Spring, that it was a positive movement and was trying to make the best of it. On Aaron Klein’s weekend show on New York City’s WABC radio, Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Inhofe accused the Obama administration of buying up ammunition at an unprecedented level to bypass the Second Amendment so gun-owners “can’t even buy ammunition because government is purchasing so much.” “Let’s make sure that your audience out there is aware, Aaron, that our president, Obama, has been doing everything he could to stop the private ownership of guns in America,” Inhofe said. “You know that, everyone knows that. On Thursday night’s edition of "The O’Reilly Factor" on the Fox News Channel, host Bill Bill O’Reilly and former Clinton campaign adviser James Carville debated whether liberals have been pushed further to left by activists and various media factions. O’Reilly pointed to Wednesday’s May Day protest in Seattle as one piece of evidence. He also pinned the blame on MSNBC, arguing that his employer’s cable news rival is “putting forth” a far left ideology. Carville disagreed and said the hosts on MSNBC network, including Rachel Maddow, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski do not hold views of the far left.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans
