| CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Stormy weather wasn't enough to prevent George Cullen from canvassing for Mitt Romney this week. Monday, while Ohio was hit by cold wind and rain, the Clermont County resident knocked on 25 doors -- but that's about half his average daily total, and Cullen has been knocking on doors in the suburbs of Cincinnati for the past five weeks. While the conservatives he speaks to during his door-to-door visits are "energized," says Cullen, "A lot of them don't want to do early voting. They're traditionalists. I voted early, since I never know when I may be asked to travel for my business...
Here in Cincinnati, I see very few 'O' bumper stickers, even in the rougher areas of town, except for the signs in front of the Neighborhood Socialists that is...

I concur,I too vote early here in NC,I get a "feel" on how the election is going...long lines on a gloomy Saturday means folks are energized....Me and my wife had the Honor to be next to a retired marine..who was African American...and he was not a Barry supporter....nooooo quite the contrary,he was so incensed about Benghazi he had many a ear when he spoke...of all races in that line.......
...so if my "feel" is correct,Romney should carry some ex Barry states by a wide margin...
..Love me some early voting..no people little concern,lots of folks a energized populace...

I try to volunteer to help in elections, but mostly I'm offered 'Make Work'. I've spent eight and ten hour days making phone calls on behalf of our candidates, then when I get home, I erase (without listening to) the dozens of political messages on my answering machine. I've walked mile after mile distributing campaign literature, then when I get home, I have to throw out (without reading) the stacks of campaign literature left on my own porch.
I consider most of my volunteer time to be an absolute waste.

Voted early here in CA, because we had to. No long lines, but more people than I thought there would be. Anyway, spouse and I are poll watching this year for a great group called Election Integrity Project. Looking forward to watching the returns when we get home that night.
Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and the rest of you "fly over" folks--VOTE for Romney/Ryan! A vote for Romney in CA doesn't seem to count too much.

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
