| Via Breitbart.com, he’s pulling the same move here that he pulled on Romney at the second debate, deflecting criticism by suggesting that somehow he’s the victim because people found the White House’s “acts of terror”/Mohammed movie protest vacillations suspicious. But okay: If he’s as forthcoming as he says, he has two new chances to prove it. First, how about answering Bing West’s question? If, as he claimed on Friday, he really did issue an order to secure American personnel in Benghazi, show us the order. The SecDef and the president have issued contradictory explanations.

...by all accounts he was cornered into finally giving the "go" on Osama, and yet he will take every chance to puff himself up over that. I'm impressed. Real gunslinger he is. Reminds me of how he likes to always include himself with the wealthy who should want to give a little to the cause and yet just a few years ago he couldn't rent a car with his credit...
...he's a boil on the backside of America...

It's really the media covering Obama's butt for 4 years that allowed him to think he could get away with this mountain of lies over this event.Chances are, they would have gotten away with the whole story if 2 brave and heroic Seals hadn't taken it upon themselves to rescue the consulate.
But even figuring out Obama has lied and covered this up,along with dragging other officials into the cover-up doesn't explain why they were willing to sacrifice the ambassador.
Obama has made a clean getaway on green scams and international fundraising.
Rank and file dems have to be disappointed than Obama/Axelgrease haven't came up with a knock out punch October surprise on Romney, false narratives notwithstanding.

Being offended isn't a good defense for stonewalling, when you, Mr President, already know who made what decisions and why you made them. Anyone with half a brain knows that this information will eventually punish your legacy of stonewalling. Truth is always the best policy, unless truth would have to be accompanied by the embarassment that campaign decisions were a priority.

He's offended that after he left 30+ people to die, someone disobeyed his orders and rescued all but 2 of them and then got themselves killed. He's offended that he does not get credit for those 60+ enemies that were killed by heroic deeds of others, like he got credit when someone ignored him last time and gave the order to kill Bin Laden. Obama feels he is a real hero. He is willing to sacrifice the lives of his friends for peace. He is willing to take your money away and sacrifice it so that he can ensure the happiness of the 'less productive' and those that run phony scams like Solyndra that purport to care more about the environment. And finally, he is offended because he is willing to sacrifice your freedoms and morals on the altar the greater good so that his people that don't happen to like freedom, self-support and morality will not have to feel bad about themselves and furthermore will be paid to have a lack of ambition and morality.

No, 0bama is offended that anyone would have the nerve to question his supreme power. He has always been arrogant. 0bama has NOT been forthcoming about Benghazi, because he was wrong not to send in more security. 0bama provides a security detail to Valarie Jarrett when she travels to Martha's Vineyard, but when he sends an ambassador to a terrorist country, 0bama denies a security detail even when it was requested on three separate occasions. 0bama got caught in his arrogance and ignorance, and now he says he is offended. Well he should damn well be ashamed not offended.

OVER the last decade, the United States has become a less violent country in every way save one. As Americans commit fewer and fewer crimes against other people’s lives and property, they have become more likely to inflict fatal violence on themselves. In the 1990s, the suicide rate dipped with the crime rate. But since 2000, it has risen, and jumped particularly sharply among the middle-aged. The suicide rate for Americans 35 to 54 increased nearly 30 percent between 1999 and 2010; for men in their 50s, it rose nearly 50 percent. More Americans now die of suicide

In the days after the Benhazi attack, the State Department scurried to cover up its failure to heed warnings of such attacks while the White House scurried to cover up the fact that that attacks were the work of al Qaeda-linked terrorists of the sort President Obama supposedly had largely vanquished. The final Benghazi “talking points” and Susan Rice’s talk show appearances represent the product of this scurrying. To help advance the narrative that the Benghazi attacks were spontaneous, and thus (a) not to have been anticipated and (b) not linked to al Qaeda,

TORONTO - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, a target of criticism for his often unconventional conduct, on Friday denied media allegations that he had been caught on video smoking crack cocaine. "Absolutely not true," Ford told reporters gathered outside his west Toronto house, before driving off in his SUV. Reporters for the Toronto Star and Gawker Media said late on Thursday they had watched a cellphone video that appears to show Ford smoking crack, although both news outlets said they had declined to pay the $100,000 price asked by the tipsters,

SAN DIEGO — In the ocean off Coronado, a Navy team has discovered a relic worthy of display in a military museum: a torpedo of the kind deployed in the late 19th century, considered a technological marvel in its day. But don´t look for the primary discoverers to get a promotion or an invitation to meet the admirals at the Pentagon - although they might get an extra fish for dinner or maybe a pat on the snout. The so-called Howell torpedo was discovered by bottlenose dolphins being trained by the Navy to find undersea objects, including mines,

It must be George W. Bush’s fault. Everything else is. The moonbats’ verdict is in. Barack Obama couldn’t possibly have done all those terrible things the vast right-wing conspiracy is accusing him of. And they’re not scandals, either. Obama’s troubles are merely “controversies” or, to use Dear Leader’s own phrase, a sideshow. Scandals only happen to Republicans, just like Deval Patrick didn’t go on a junket to Ireland. It was a “trade mission.” Democrats never make mistakes either — “mistakes were made,” in the passive voice.

Jay Carney insists Benghazi, Libya, is not a scandal, but then he doesn’t admit to having misled the media about the origin of the attacks. The administration now tells CBS News, “We’re portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots. It’s actually closer to us being idiots.” It would be nice if the source specified what part(s) of the administration were idiotic and why it’s “closer” but not all attributable to incompetence. The problem with claiming incompetence is two-fold. First, it raises the question as to where the president was on Sept. 11, 2012,

The standard police warning about con men applies to politicians, as well: When they tell you something that sounds too good to be true, it usually is. So it goes with the White House claim that it knew nothing — nothing! — about the targeting of conservative groups by the Internal Revenue Service. Of course the White House knew. And we already have the first piece of evidence. The Friday hearing on what amounted to political profiling of anti-Obama groups took a huge step toward demolishing White House efforts to distance itself from the scandal. The agency’s inspector general testified

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

The Internal Revenue Service´s watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president´s re-election campaign. The disclosure to the Treasury general counsel and the deputy secretary was a cursory one, according to J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. He said he didn´t reveal conclusions of the probe, which was in its early stages, and his disclosure came as part

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.
