| In an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Geraldo at Large” Sunday night, Charles Woods, father of slain Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, said President Barack Obama did not do all he could to save the four Americans who were killed in a terrorist raid on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Obama should have reacted sooner, he said, because the consulate was American soil. “I was contacted by military personnel yesterday, who told me an interesting fact. And that is any consulate anywhere in the world is American soil,” Woods said.

Well, I just watched Hussein on Morning Joe call it a 'tragedy', not terrorism. No follow up questions from Joe or Mika, just let him tell his lies. 26 minutes into Morning Joe and no other mentions of Benghazi. Of course.

Missed this program; but Geraldo has been on the morning programs telling the couch crew how Obama did a great job on Bengazi. What bull.
Geraldo has his Obama kneepads on.

Following the rules set up by Liberals during the Bush years, this father's "moral authority" is "absolute" and he must be listened to... Yeah, and liberals I know took down the "dissent is the highest form of patriotism" signs as soon as Obama was elected. Now it's "unpatriotic" to question the president. And they cannot see the double standard here.

''Obama should have reacted sooner, he said, because the consulate was American soil.''
I'm surprised Mr. Woods didn't already know this - he says he's an attorney. My son (in the military currently) was FUMING about this, on that very day! Even before we learned about the Ambassador and the other 3 who had died in Benghazi, my son was ranting about the Islamists scaling the wall of our Cairo embassy, and burning our flag! ''That's American soil over there!! Why are we doing nothing about this?!!''
Of course, he KNEW why..... my son's, these men's, C-in-C is, and always has been, practicing taqqiya. (Ref. Lucianne.com 10/28/12 - http://www.lucianne.com/thread/?artnum=709205)

The father must have had further thoughts. He said just previously, he forgives Obama and Obama needs to turn his life around. Maybe it finally dawned on him what a travesty his son's death was and how he was betrayed.
Please let us not let this man get away with this- it's not a forged certificate, nor hidden school records.

It was obvious on O'Reilly's program the other night geraldo was sporting kneepads for obama....
BUT -- the Navy Seal's Dad is a hero himself -- for having the courage to speak out loud what the whole country knows....
His son was a hero -- and his president REFUSED to send him help when he needed it....
Beware America -- Navy Seal Tyrone Woods -- is just the first of many who will be thrown under the bus for obama.

Christian forgiveness is something in the heart and soul. Mr. Woods is living his faith, bless him. And he is right when he "heaps hot coals upon" Obama's head with his forgiveness.
But the deadness in Obama's soul won't react to being told he's forgiven. My guess is that Obama is thinking "Who the hell is this guy to forgive ME?"
Obama won't give Mr. Woods or his son or the Bengazi deaths a second thought unless it improves his election chances. In fact, his election chances were the reason he refused them help in the first place; he can't have the appearance of unrest in the Muslim world during election time, can he? After all, O said that he personally improved relations in the Middle East.
Right. Evil, just evil...

My thoughts on this: I can imagine that Zippy didn't choose to defend the "consulate" because it really was NOT a consulate. It was the location of a CIA operation running weapons to Syrian rebels (read Al Quaeda) the Administration didn't want us to know about. Zippy doesn't dare say it wasn't a consulate, thus not meriting defense, because then he gets asked what we're really doing there. Christopher Stevens wasn't so much an ambassador but the local facilitator of Zippy's unauthorized support of Al Quaeda against (somewhat) civilized society.

It is Mr. Wood's prerogative as the father of a slain soldier to forgive his son's CIC who got him killed. However, looking how things are shaping up in the Middle East, I think that is not going to help Barack at all.
There will be war and millions will die because Barack Obama's Marxism refuses to perceive and deal with resurgent islamic imperialism. The blood of every innocent individual is on the hands of jihadis everywhere, but not without the helping hand given by useful idiots like the progressives, with Barack Obama at the head of them all.

But the experts know his "artistic composition" is an operatic and complex and visionary "Le Destruction of America." As a Christian, I understand that we are called upon to forgive all sinners, as our Lord has commanded us to.
Still, I think that Geraldo was his usual manipulative pro-Obama self and when he kissed Mr. Woods and said "I love you too.", I thought of the Juda's kiss.
Another point: Mr. Woods kept explaining how he "respected the office of the President of the United States". - Don't you agree that the "office" exists for an honorable Commander in Chief to inhabit as an elected leader of the people?
Mr. Obama has disgraced the office.

I don't know why y'all think the "American soil" aspect of the Benghazi debacle would have any resonance with Obama. He doesn't respect American sovereignty in the continental United States (for example, witness his supine deference to UN elections observers as superior to Texas law), why would anyone think Obama respects American sovereignty on small patches of soil in Egypt and Libya?

It's hard to fathom that that boob Geraldo is still employed by Fox; however, knowing Ailes's (and Murdock's) propensity for sensationalism and Ailes's statement that they're moving left, I suppose it's not really surprising. Just another reason not to watch.

My heart goes out to the parents of all the fallen Americans in Benghazi. Mr. Woods is a hero for speaking up, in whatever venue he can.
Lots of people think Whore-aldo is brilliant so maybe they watch him on Fox; I don't. If they did, they needed to hear Mr. Woods.
I cannot remember the program, maybe Jeanine, where Ann Coulter and Pat Caddell were guests. Caddell was livid about Benghazi, emotional to the point of tears. That kind of justifiable anger must be seen a bit more.

The so-called media is unbelievable in their participation in this cover-up. Talk about target rich environment! 1. Where are the people from the embassy staff who were rescued? 2. What happened to the local guards our "friends" in Libya provided? Why were Gen Hamm and Admiral Guaemane(sp?) booted? Their careers are over, and they are in uniform, so they can't talk now. If they were to blame for the mess, Obama would be braying about it from the rooftops. My guess is they fiercely objected to the massacre 0 was ordering them to abet.

It was about a father whose son had been killed in action in northwest Afghanistan. The father was Paul Monti; his son was Sergeant Jared Monti. Jared died in Afghanistan trying to save the life of one of his men.

The White House on Friday didn’t respond to a report that Attorney General Eric Holder authorized the seizure a Fox News reporter’s phone and email records — and with no daily press briefing scheduled Friday that could mean silence from the administration through the Memorial Day weekend. NBC News reported Thursday that Holder approved the search of Fox News reporter James Rosen’s private emails and phone records in a probe of leaked government information. That revelation came just as the president ordered Holder to review Justice Department guidelines for investigating reporters. White House officials have not yet responded

President Obama’s speech at the National Defense University calling for an end to the war on terror forces the question of who gets to declare peace. The Left wing in our political debate has been agitating for some time to repeal the authorization to use military force that the Congress passed after 9/11. The President boarded the bandwagon yesterday. He vowed he would sign no laws designed to expand the mandate and declared outright that he looks forward “to engaging Congress and the American people in efforts to refine, and ultimately repeal” the congressional mandate to use force.

Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering personifies the State Department mentality that so many conservatives find objectionable. He authored a Global Zero report arguing for unilateral disarmament and then runs to his co-author Chuck Hagel’s defense, saying it doesn’t say what it plainly does. He gets selected for a critical State Department review of Benghazi, doesn’t interview the secretary or high-level advisers, and writes a report identifying no one in particular. He famously replied that it was fine to leave out higher-ups because “because in fact we knew where the responsibility rested.” In a milieu where double-talk, evasion

Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
