Ministers see Obama's Christian
faith evolve over first term

Washington - President Obama's prayers for a strong first debate may not have been answered, but that doesn't mean the prayers weren't happening. Before he stepped onto a Colorado stage earlier this month to face off with Mitt Romney for the first time, Obama joined a conference call with a small circle of Christian ministers. "The focus of that prayer was, 'Oh, Lord, you know precisely what the president needs to say,'" says Kirbyjon Caldwell, a Methodist megachurch pastor from Texas who helped lead the call. "'You know what this country needs during the next four years.'" "'And so I would pray

Comments:
Cut me some slack. Just because Barry has improved on his revival tent preacher cadence doesn't mean his "faith" has evolved. 0bama worships one entity and one entity only - that dude he sees while he's shaving each morning.

Pure projection and proves you can fool some people a lot of the time. Too bad obama is still church choosing shy?

Wish I could get a bet going with favorable odds that obama returns to his Black Liberation theology when he is liberated from office in Nov.

Or maybe if out of politics he can go back to the Muslim/Marxism of his youth?

On his $21 million estate in Hawaii will he be free to acknowledge (or suddenly discover as a politician would) his actual b8irth father Communist community organizer and poet in hawaii Frank Marshall Davis?

Why hasn't that video gone on line as a freebe?

God indeed knows what this country needs, Minister Kirby. And, He knew exactly what obit needed to say. Why do you think obit did so well in the debates, sir? And, just after ya'll prayed and all.

FTA - "'And so I would pray that your primary will and words that you want the president to say will fall from his lips,'" Caldwell goes on, recalling his prayer.

That explains why something fell from obit's lips and was caught by Romney with Candy canes attempt to neutralize it after your request that Romney move on.

Oh, did you happen to mention that abortion and homosexual "stuff" when you prayed? Didn't? Well, God knows anyway, you modern day Pharisees.

God acts in mysterious ways. The prayers were answered and we saw the real O.

Arrogant, disconnected from our problems and dismissive of his opponent.

Yes his faith suddenly "evolved" to a more open demonstration of his Islamic faith.

Reply 7 - Posted by: BeatleJeff, 10/28/2012 4:29:13 PM     (No. 8969987)

What a crock. Obama is a cynical SOB who is simply borrowing the language of evangelicals to try to con people of faith into believing he's something he's not. He can mouth the words, but his actions give the game away. He thinks Christians are dumb rubes who will buy his snake oil, but we're not. We know a charlatan when we see one. I've no doubt that come January he'll be right back in one of Wright's pews.

His faith didn't evolve so much as leaked out - if he isn't a Muslim his primary allegiance to any religion beyond self-worship is Islam, the type that kills Americans and wants a nuclear bomb to use against Israel and America. We'd be much better off if he was an atheist.

Some how I get the message that just because you say Lord, Lord by the potus does not necessarily mean he is Christian. According to the Good Book, Jesus, himself said, that using His name did not make you a Christian. I am conjecturing that this prayer sham was for the media to spread the rumor that the potus is Christian. Accordingly I take this to mean the potus is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Evolution of the potus into Christian is doubtful but more like a Muslim masquerading as a Christian in my book.

Obama is not a Christian so far as I can see, but neither are about 3/4 of the nation's preachers, either, come right down to it...

delusional is an apt description of both Obama and his clergy. Please tell me where in the Bible I can find the verses that support Obama's screwed up beliefs. The black clergy, not all but most, will put aside all Biblical teachings to support this amoral person just because he is black. Kirbyjohn probably has his jet, multi-million dollar house plus any other assorted toys and trinkets to enrich himself and his posse so please don't hold yourself up as someone we should listen to or emulate.

I find this whole article offensive on so many levels. There's nothing remotely spiritual about a man who walks the earth the way this man does.

The pastors who are a part of this article, shame on you for being pulled into politics that are misleading and counter to reality. You are not true men of the cloth.

I will say it again..,the man is an atheist. He is NOT a Muslim. He is, however, a Muslim sympathizer. At any rate, this prayer thing is just for show. He has no spirituality--he only worships himself.

Never trust the leader of a megachurch. Used car salesmen have more integrity. What kind of name is Kirbyjon??? Ugh...

None knows the heart of man but that individual and God. However, we're told that we will know a man by his fruits.

It is very interesting, to me, that Ty Woods's dad and family were on Justice with Judge Jeanine last night (10/27/12), and Mr. Woods spoke directly to the POTUS after the judge asked him what he would say to him. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm4wtlUg8_M

Then, today we are hearing stories about the President's church attendance and prayers.

Nothing would please me more than to know that the POTUS is in a right relationship with Christ. We will know by his deeds, rather than by his words.

Know the Truth and He shall set you free! That's Jesus, the Son of God!

Obama has continually lied to US and still claims he's a Christian. His supporters, even ministers, will one day stand "alone" before Jesus and be told what He knows! Too many will hear - Depart from Me for I never knew you rather than, welcome, good and faithful servant!

What doth it profit a man if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul.

God is not mocked - what you sow, you will reap!

I rest my case!

Stunning CNN would offer a long piece(seemed like a million words) guessing about the evolution of Zero's faith rather than looking at his deeds--death panels, increasing poverty, and promoting the killing of over 1.6million babies per year in the US, and the spread of this policy of death worldwide--promoting homosexuality and the marriage between homosexuals-- demanding religous organizations provide contraceptive and abortion services to thier employees...Zero is a politician looking for votes who didn't get around to finding a church home in 4 years and probably won't attend one often when he's booted out 11/06....by the way, even though is Black, he Kirbyjon was W's pastor prior to his election and highly visible during W's Administration. Supported Obama in 2008...

Kirbyjon obviously likes having the President as his BFF. What, by the way, does it mean for someone's faith to "evolve?" Or is that just campaign-speak to peel back a few of those Christian votes he has lost to Mitt Romney? What about his stances on abortion and gay marriage? Or his assault on religious freedom? I would rather have a President who admits he is a non-believer or an agnostic than one who professes an "evolving" Christian faith around election time.

In recent weeks, scandal after scandal has rocked Barack Obama’s administration. His presidency might be imperiled. Or it might not be.(snip)Doubtless, Obama did not want for any of these scandals to come to light. Now that they’ve arisen, though, they can be exploited to depict himself as a Washington outsider and his Republican nemeses as “the establishment” that has vowed to destroy him. Potentially, this strategy trades off short-term loss for long-term gain. Again, Alinsky is instructive here: “If by losing in a certain action” the organizer “can get more members than by winning

The Obama administration has an enemies list, and John Dodson was on it. The special agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) infuriated his superiors by alerting Congress and everyone else about the government’s gunrunning scheme called Fast and Furious. He had to pay for his act of good citizenship. The Justice Department’s inspector general concluded Monday that a high-ranking political appointee destroyed Mr. Dodson’s credibility and ruined a career. The IRS scandal provides Republicans and conservatives with the opportunity to repeal and replace Obamacare now. The House Republican majority should refuse to fund the expansion of the IRS necessary to manage Obamacare. Without that funding, and hiring thousands of additional agents, the IRS cannot even begin to manage Obamacare. President Obama may throw a fit. He may refuse to sign funding bills to keep the federal government open. No matter. Let him close his government down if he wants. Nobody wants the IRS playing political games with their health care and health records

I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The U.S. has identified five men who might be responsible for the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, last year, and has enough evidence to justify seizing them by military force as suspected terrorists, officials say. But there isn´t enough proof to try them in a U.S. civilian court as the Obama administration prefers. The men remain at large while the FBI gathers evidence. But the investigation has been slowed by the reduced U.S. intelligence presence in the region since the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks, and by the limited ability to assist by Libya´s post-revolutionary law

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”
