| President Obama ran into a buzzsaw yesterday while doing a round-robin of satellite interviews with local news outlets in crucial swing states -- and by "buzzsaw," I mean that rare form of species known as a "real reporter." Kyle Clark of Colorado's KUSA actually asked Obama about the latest revelations out of Libya. According to Fox News, the three requests for help made during the seven-hour attack on our consulate in Benghazi were met with orders from U.S. officials to "stand down." Wisely, Obama dodged this question entirely. I say "wisely" because,

Comments: The NYT, WaPoo and the rest of the complicit mainstream media are attempting to embargo and ignore this outrageous story and run out the clock until the election. All to protect Obama from his outrageous betrayal of our soldiers on the ground in Benghazi. According to one report, assets overhead were refused permission to fire to save our soldiers.

Obama's convinced he can stonewall this until Nov 6.
Mr. Trump, this would be better use of your $5,000,000. In fact get with guys like Adelson and get it up to $10M or higer. Donate it if he answers three simple questions about Benghazi. Have Dr K write the questions for you and judge the answers. And if he refers the question, the President must order that person to answer.
''Mr President, $5Million for 3 questions! I.E. $5M for three minutes of your time.''
The Left derides the transcript pay off. But why would they deride this Libya question payoff for questions everyone agrees he should be answering anyway.

' This is nothing more than a replay of the John Edwards scandal, where the media ignored an extra-marital affair until Edwards' chances at being elected president disappeared. '' - article. It took a breakout story by the National Enquirer to get the press whores to even look at the Edwards story. I suppose it will take every family member of those who were killed speaking out no national TV for weeks to get them to start insisting on answers as to what happened and why nothing was done at the time. And then there's the coverup.

Does no one in the msm have a shred of pariotism. A shred of concern for our men and women in uniform.
Did the Navy SEALs not deserve more from this president.
He adopted their success as his own in killing OBL but now he's thrown them to the jihadist wolves.

The reason he dodged the question is because a truthful answer would show his blatant incompetence and complete lack of standing to be given another term. But, anyone paying any attention already knows that.

You know there was only a handful of people at Issa's hearing on this a couple weeks ago. If Waxman was holding a hearing, the floor would have been covered with cameraman and hoards of media types. This election is not only beating Obama but the media. But they're not going to go down without a fight. Now they've gone back to Romney being a flip flopper because his general election message is different than the primary one, like this has never been done before.
The real battle in this election is cynical people who thinks there's no difference on who wins. The republicans and business haven't done enough to prove and demonstrate Obama has intentionally been killing jobs.
The other problem is people generally think the president and media aren't allowed to lie. The rock they been living under has several coats of of moss on it.
It's nice to see Romney drawing big crowds of honest people as opposed to Obama and union thugs and college students.

Obama supporters don't care about this. They want him re-elected no matter what. If this was a Republican administration the screaming and outrage from the Media and the left would be deafening. The Democrats involved will burn in he11 for what they have done.

The Jurassic media blackout has not held. The Benghazi Betrayal is out. The Obama presidency will fall in an election blowout. Democrats will call foul because Sandy distorted turnout, but the election will stand.
Americans will tolerate a lot of incompetence and chicanery in their government, but when brave men are betrayed in the field to cover cowardliness in DC, the long knives come out.

The White House itself is also being careful about not making news. This is why no statement was released denying the Fox News report. If the Administration issues a denial, the CorruptMedia will be forced to cover the denial, which in turn will call attention to the story.
Bingo. The WH just needs to run out the clock until the election while this media cesspool goes along with it. But why? What is it about anything this POTUS has done for the country that they want more of?
Or is it the promise of what O will do for them in a second term that makes them foolishly believe they will get special treatment from a man who watches our own citizens die and does nothing? They actually trust him?
When in the history of America has there been more evil perpetrated against our own citizens by the press and by an Administration? Yes, evil. Not simply misdirection, immorality or incompetence.
It's sheer evil.

I believe each and every one of us should be hitting as many news outlets' websites as possible and make comments - even copy some of the wonderful comments on this page - I think every one of us should do this every day until the election results are announced. I think we should absolutely drown them in our comments - leave no doubt what we think of this travesty.
I believe we should be blistering to every comment that flatters the Administration until we KNOW what was and was not done and said. And I believe politeness has left us forever because no one in DC has earned one teeny bit of politeness.
Media must have SOME value. There will be more people hear us if we bang on THEIR door, and especially if we continually bang without letup.
I AM MAD.

The fact that someone is offering the President of the United States $5 million to tell the truth is beyond sad. And it's pathetic that that price is too low to get the truth from him. Can you imagine going to work tomorrow morning and being offered five times your annual salary just to be honest?

Yes #15, let's do it. Every day I posted this on another thread this AM: I sent the following to every local paper I know, here in MN and back home in Iowa:
"Our press has become so terribly biased that they'd see the country go down in flames before standing up to democrats. I'm including a link to an excellent article on the Bengazi nightmare written by Col. Ken Allard.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/oct/27/obama-knew-about-attack-ignored-three-requests-hel/
Here's a stunning line: "Each time, they were shamefully turned down. One of those defenders, Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, was apparently able to use a laser designator to pin-point the location of the mortar that eventually killed him. It would have been an easy shot for American pilots had any been ordered to respond."
This administration stood by and let these brave Americans be slaughtered, even though we had resources, eager and capable, that could have stopped this. How do these people sleep at night?
If they were willing to let this go down, what else are they capable of? Why does the DHS have 1.4 billion rounds of ammo? Why is NASA now a muslim outreach program? Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, might be a duck. The press is supposed to inform the public, not deceive it. The truth please, if not now, when? When it's too late? You live in the same country we do, and one of the first things totalitarians do is eliminate free press, oops, as if we have one. And, in AMERICA. How very sad and shameful."

What Really Happened -- Benghazi
Situation Room
September 12, 3 0 a.m.
LEON PANETTA: [to aide] Call the Residence. Put it on speaker. MICHELLE: Who is this? It’s three o’clock! PANETTA: Leon Panetta, Ma’am. We need the president in the Situation Room ASAP. MICHELLE: He’s busy. He couldn’t sleep, so he’s been playing Ragnarök II—the Awakening on his Xbox. His forces are in the middle of a decisive action. Can’t you handle the problem? PANETTA: Uh, no Ma’am. MICHELLE: Oh for God’s sake. [yells] Barack! Pick up! Panetta wants you right now! OBAMA: Jeez, Leon. What’s so important? I’m in the middle of breaching Rozamin’s redoubt, which would set the Outliers back on their heels for months. PANETTA: Trouble, sir. Benghazi. We. ... OBAMA: Ben Ghazi? The Israeli Defense Minister? PANETTA: No, sir. The consulate in Libya. It’s under siege; the ambassador and his team are in danger. Big decisions must be made soon if we’re to. … OBAMA: Leon, it took me forever to mount an attack on Castle Covenant. And you want me to suspend the battle to hang around the Situation Room for hours watching real time video that means absolutely nothing to me? Once with bin Laden was enough. PANETTA: Sir, we’ll need you to authorize action to. . . . OBAMA: Leon, I authorize you to do whatever successfully resolves the situation. If it blows up in our faces, it’s on you. I was out of the loop. Got it? PANETTA: Yes, sir.
[Michelle in background] Barack! Zulu 4 is in. They want to know if they should proceed to the Chamber of the Gods.
OBAMA: Gotta go, Leon. My people need me. I'm sleeping in. Call back around noon. Hat tip: disklxik

The original article is well written concise and to the point . However Robinsolana misses some important facts. Those facts have to stick to the wall before the upcoming election. Getting to the nitties watching the ongoing Drone pictures at the White House were Biden, Panetta. Obama.Probably other Military present. These were known to be watching the on stream video and text. So these individuals knew hour by hour what was going on. The predicament of the Ambassador, the Three Consulate safety personnel and 35 other Consulate employees situated in the Main Section of the Consulate. Mr Steven a marine was at that time in an annex about one mile away.Three requests for help were made to the White House . State Department and CIA.Gen.Petraeus head of the CIA stated categorically that his agency had not given any directives to Benghazi . In any case authenticated Commands would originate from the White House and would by law issued by the Commander in Chief.Fox News will be airing two programs Sunday related to Benghazi and with the latest updates.

Not really seeing much, if any, comments on taking this whole thing one step further which should be the job of this Knee-Pad media. What will he do when Israel is attacked? Can he be bothered? Will he be on vacation? Will he take a few months to think about it? What will this President do if this country is attacked (which it essentially was in Benghazi)? We need to seriously consider questions like that because our enemies surely are!

The media will obfuscate, ignore, and downplay this story and pretend it doesn't exist until at least a while after the election. Then, no matter who wins, they will slowly begin breaking the story as if its only recently begun trickling out and it's the first they've heard of it. By that time anger will have died a bit and they can try and convince themselves and everyone else that they report "all the news". Despicable. They should be ashamed of themselves. Lower than slime.

After theelection the story will be gone No matter who wins there will be no coverage, hearings, or news conference. Every one will just move on. Like Prager says, being leftist means never having to say your sorry. Unfortunately the GOP just doesn't have it to fight back. In my area, the town of 300K has a paper. I don't know the circulation but the Benghazi story was AP one on A-18, it was ok, but incomplete and old news. Page A 18! After the election it will be next to crossword puzzle.

The Benghazi debacle has three parts: how we neglected security while al-Qaeda was building a presence in Libya; whether the administration tried to mislead the public as to the nature of the attack; and now whether the administration denied pleas for help from operatives on the ground at the consulate. Now, presumably at the behest of Gen. David Petraeus — who has been remarkably tight-lipped and not defended his agency against White House accusations that senior officials’ misstatements were the fault of the CIA — the CIA threw the hot potato right back in the politicians’ laps.

Mitt Romney has opened up a clear lead over Barack Obama in their presidential race. That owes a great deal to the candidates’ debate performances, of course. But something else is going on, too. In recent days, Obama’s approval rating has taken a perceptible hit. Via the Weekly Standard, we see that in the Rasmussen survey, only 47% approve of Obama’s job performance, while 52% disapprove. There are two plausible explanations for Obama’s current slide: voters may be disgusted by the mean, petty campaigning he is running, or they may disapprove of his handling of the Benghazi crisis. Or both.

Reports indicate two drones and an AC-130 gunship were in the area when Benghazi was attacked, yet their resources were not used. This runs completely against the current explanation coming out of the White House, which is that Obama did everything he could once he learned of the attack. You'll remember that in the second presidential debate, Obama said that as "soon as I was aware the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team." The not-so-subtle intimation is that Obama was stepping up to the protect the U.S. personnel who were in Libya.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:
