'Our rivalry dates back
to when Trump and I were
growing up in Kenya': Obama
hits back at The Donald after
billionaire's 'gigantic' announcement backfired

Daily Mail (UK), by Donald Bates et al.*

President Obama offered a clever retort to Donald Trump after the real estate mogul offered to donate $5million to the charity of his choosing if he released college records and passport application. Speaking on The Tonight Show, Obama told Jay Leno that the rivalry between began in their childhood. ‘This all dates back to when we were growing up in Kenya,' he joked. 'We had constant run-ins on the soccer field, he wasn’t very good.’ The president was referring to The Donald's highly publicised demands that the president present his birth certificate

Comments:
Creep. This is about par for the juveniles he has writing his material.

So cute, what with Jay preening before Obama and this McDaddy doing what he does best...however, Donald's bet is not going to be given the light of day by our man, our metrosexual from Kenya.

He will hide behind his big toothy smile, jokes and lies.

Suckers are everywhere, ask Jay Leno and Letterman. Stupid celebs are aplenty.

I sure wish some of these forensic document examiners would take the time to analyze the photos from the Obama 'Dreams..." book, because I can tell with the naked eye they're all fakes. Those of him with his alleged grandmother in the village. Heck, even the picture of her in her own village look like a cheap crop and paste job. I don't believe he had ever even been to Kenya in his life, but only his Passport can tell the truth on that.

The most notable fake is the picture of his alleged father with his arm around him at the airport in Hawaii. You know, the one with the abnormally long arm and weird fingers?

His college records will show if he applied as a "foreign exchange student". If he did (very likely), he is either a dual citizen, or not a U.S. citizen at all. Either way, he is not legally eligible to be POTUS.

Meanwhile, through all the wit and jokes and laughter, the college and passport records remain tightly sealed.

Looks as if Trump has won his $5 million bet that Obama has been a citizen of Indonesia since before he went to college.

Don't think this was necessarily a miss for Trump. His money is safe. He knows Obama isn't going to release any of this information but it gets it out there for people to discuss. "What's he talking about?" Then one can explain that all candidates in the past have voluntarily released this kind of information to the public but Obama has not. What's he got to hide? Sowing seeds of doubt.

Don't get cocky Barry. What if he offers $5 MM on November 1 for the LA Times tape? That would make your jokes about Kenya really funny when you lose the Jewish vote as your hatred of Israel is exposed.

Donald Trump knew this was a safe bet.

N∅bama is never going to release those records. Never. He could care less about the poor and needy that that $5,000,000 could help. He only cares about himself. And he knows the damage the truth could do if those records were ever released.

Trump got another 15 minutes in the headlines. We all got a good laugh. The total lack of transperancy by N∅bama is brought back to the surface. And Gloria AllForMyOwnGlory's little stunt was balanced out by this little stunt.

Nothing lost. Just another day in the desperate last days of the N∅bama reign of terror!!!

Trump's an idiot, he should make the offer available to everyone, I'm sure someone that isn't supported by Soros and could use 5 milion has access to the records.

I'm not sure it backfired. It does show that Obama and the media refuse to show anything about his history. They sent hundreds to Alaska. They even pulled the Palin children into their nasty articles.

It shows Obama has a sordid past that he wants to keep hidden.

Obviously the President is not into being charitable, and more obviously , he DOES have
much to hide. Otherwise, he would take up this offer immediately. He wants his past life completely hidden except what he prints in his "books", which in fact, are mostly fiction.

If you were to compare "October Surprises" of Allred vs. Trump I believe Trump's surprise has created more "damage" to the electoral chances of Barry while "The mouth that never closes"-Allred's surprise (as usual) created more damage to her client. Remebering what did with the illegal immigrant woman in Southern California. All for the exposure of her name in the tabloids.

It's not over. Trump played it so that it is a question until Nov. 1. Only then will we know if BHO will release his records or deny a charity a $5m donation.
Thereafter, I hope Trump makes the $5m donation anyhow. He offered the $5m and it would be a nice gesture for him to make the donation in any event.
My secret desire is that he has the records and will release then on Nov. 1 after having gave BHO a chance to come clean.
My fear is BHO's boys got to Trump and he backed off.

Some of the nation´s largest banks, including Wells Fargo [WFC +1.58%] & Co., suspended foreclosure sales in a number of states following guidance issued last month by federal banking regulators. While some foreclosures have since resumed, the halt marks the latest dustup over how foreclosures are handled. Banks said their actions were triggered by a four-page bulletin issued last month by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve. The bulletin outlined basic operating standards for foreclosure sales. Many of the nation´s largest banks were already operating under consent orders with the OCC or the Fed

Common-sense politics devolve into a season of craziness in this engrossing account of the 2012 U.S. presidential campaign. Journalist Alter follows up his bestselling The Promise: President Obama, Year One with a savvy dissection of the 2010–2012 election cycle and related political dogfights, including budget and debt-ceiling showdowns, the Republican primary circus, and the “Obama Derangement Syndrome” infecting Tea Partiers and talk-radio hosts. At the center are rich portraits of the antagonists: Obama is seen as a cerebral antipolitician with no “schmooze gene” who hates back-slapping, slogan-spewing theatrics; Romney is portrayed as a well-meaning

Let’s face it. The Great Gatsby never has been—and probably won’t ever be—successfully turned into a great motion picture. Many have tried (four flop movies, not to mention various small-screen attempts, including a truncated but memorable Playhouse 90 with Robert Ryan and Jeanne Crain in the golden days when TV still knew what quality programming was). Robert Redford was a perfect Gatsby in the pretty but boring 1974 version by Jack Clayton, but the movie was dead on arrival. The best I’ve seen is still Elliott Nugent’s black-and-white 1949 version, with Alan Ladd at the top of his form

It may go down as one of the great currency bets in Australian dollar history – a $US1 billion gamble on a Reserve Bank rate cut that has delivered a $US19 million ($18.65m) profit in 36 hours. The beneficiary, if you believe the rumour mill, is investment legend George Soros. Best of all, it appears the 82-year-old American pulled off the deal three times, all with different foreign exchange brokers in Asia, for a tidy profit of almost $US60 million. Oskar Lafontaine, the German finance minister who launched the euro, has called for a break-up of the single currency to let southern Europe recover, warning that the current course is "leading to disaster". "The economic situation is worsening from month to month, and unemployment has reached a level that puts democratic structures ever more in doubt," he said. "The Germans have not yet realised that southern Europe, including France, will be forced by their current misery to fight back against German hegemony sooner or later," he said,

U.S. President Barack Obama gives the commencement address to the graduating class of The Ohio State University at Ohio Stadium on May 5, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. PRESIDENT OBAMA: Unfortunately, you´ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that´s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They´ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices.

After months of weighing potential candidates, President Obama finally has his pick for the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees the housing giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Obama wants to tap Representative Mel Watt, a Democrat from North Carolina. Confirmation is far from a sure thing. Watt’s nomination has been met with cheers by many groups that work with borrowers, from the National Community Reinvestment Coalition to MoveOn.org, though some liberals say he’s too close with banks, which are a big part of North Carolina’s economy.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”
